    Hello, I called Meklenburg county, NC (Charlotte) and they said you cannot do this online at any point.

    • @taxsalesecrets
      @taxsalesecrets  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello, if you are talking about online auction in Meklenburg county that could very well be the case. There is only a couple of small counties in North Carolina that offer them online. And its usually only a property or two they have for sale in online auctions. Most NC counties hold the sale in person at the county courthouse. Thanks for checking us out. Thanks, SJ Swenson

    How often do you see the tenants trash the home before leaving

    • @taxsalesecrets
      @taxsalesecrets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Kyle! Really not as often as you think, many times the home are vacant. But for those tax deed homes that have either owners, family or tenants - we try to work something out after buying. That could be selling it to them, renting it to them, or giving them some cash to get into a new place if they don't trash it. But it is a risk, we just do what we can to avoid it. Thanks for watching... Stephen

    Hi I am interested in finding a list of properties that were sold in foreclosure in NC with the amount they were sold for and the name of the former owner. I live in NC. How and where might I find this type of list?

    • @taxsalesecrets
      @taxsalesecrets  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It kind of depends on what type of foreclosure you are asking about. With Tax Deed Foreclosures you will need to contact the Tax Department in the county that handle the auctions. But in some cases you will need to contact the Law Firms when counties use attorneys to sale their tax deeds. With Mortgage Foreclosures you will generally need to contact the counties sheriffs. We do provide Overage/Surplus lists to about ten states to our Members on www.TaxSaleSupport.com. Hopefully that should give you some direction about North Carolina. Thanks, SJ Swenson

    Once I receive my commissioner deed does that mean I can evict the person currently living there?

  • @miamiles7996

    Would I have to quiet the title with a commissioners deed or could I sell it to a wholesaler without doing so?

    • @taxsalesecrets
      @taxsalesecrets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can sell the tax deed "as is" if you want to anyone including an investor. But you will be selling the property for a discount because its not warranted. So if the property has enough value it can make since to take it through Quiet Title. Thanks, and I Hope this helps! Stephen

    I have a question if you win a bid on tax foreclosure does that void out any mortgage Lien?

    • @taxsalesecrets
      @taxsalesecrets  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes in most states the foreclosure will void out any mortgage. But other governmental liens can still attach to the property. Hope this helps! Thanks

      Hello Nya, thanks for watching... They should be notified about an upset bid. But you will want to keep in contact with the county near the end of the upset period just to make sure. Hope this helps, and thanks again. Stephen

    At county court house tax deed auction will you get notified during the 10 day period that you got outbid to counter bid if you decide to?

    • @djmadmike23
      @djmadmike23 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Keep an eye on it the results are online in my county I show up. If you’re out bid then the 10 days start again so no big deal theoretically you have 11 up to 20 days I’ve seen some of these go for a whole year with the back and forth

    I read where Gwinnett’s county Georgia does not allow 3rd parties to file for tax overages. I am interested in doing business in NC, SC and Mississippi. Do any of these have such laws?

    • @taxsalesecrets
      @taxsalesecrets  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, thanks for checking us out. When it comes to regular Tax Sale investing you could answer your question. But with overages laws, we are not really experts on the details from State to State. So you are going to need to check and see what the laws are from state to state. We personally focus on tax liens and deeds more than the overage side. But we do provide overage lists to our members. We are looking at some overage trainers we can bring on to teach our members more about Overages. Thanks again, SJ Swenson

    North Carolina moves very slow
    They let the taxes get up to 100k before they bid...
