She’s an absolute force of nature and brings so much *life* to this role. I really hope I’m blessed with the chance to see her do the thing on Broadway.
She really leans into the campy nature of it, which is fabulous. There have been some really dreary interpretations of the role and Billings really gives you a sense of the power hungry, social climbing nobody that Morrible may have been. She speaks in the traditional transatlantic accent, as most Morrible's do but she always that to slip into a more standard 'lower status' American accent when Morrible is not 'playing her part'. It creates clear parallels with Glinda. Its fabulous performance

I Love Alexandra Billings since her early days in Chicago as a Cabaret performer. She's extremely talented actor & an amazing singer.
