Noxus looks absolutely brilliant
Its attacks remind me lots to the final boss of Kirby's Return to Dreamland, with the hovering hands, the portal patterns spewing havoc, the teleporting through 2 of them around the stage, and of course the dividing the screen into safe and lethal sections
It's like an absolutely vicious and violent Magolor and I love every single bit of it

Dominic the absolute madman! I think it's 100% safe to say that we have hit a new era of modded Terraria. This is nuts!
This was an insanely cool boss to fight. Chaotic and fair at the same time, while providing an insanely satisfying learning curve for the player. The 100+ attempts I spent nohitting this guy were worth it, definitely would recommend this alongside Catalyst for any Calamity playthrough.
(Fun fact: this guy has 2 special in-game cutscenes, one during the day in HM, one happens at night postML)
Dominic did an amazing job with this mod! Also, I can’t decide which song fits this boss better, Second Law by Sidetracked or the Angie Battle Theme.

This feels so much like the magolor fight from Kirbys return to dreamland it's insane great work!
Nice to see Dom getting a chance to make a boss without the pressure of time constraints or having to design around a fight that was already made. The only issues I can think of now are that it gives a couple too many free points to attack it throughout the fight, and that its ending is a tad anticlimactic. Besides that however, it is really solid!
Yeah, only problem imo is just like in kinda disappointed we just get a overpowered spray bottle as a weapon drop. Would’ve loved to see weapons related to noxus’s attacks

Actually this is just normal Boss, not a Super Boss and the difficulty is only Death mode, which is a lot easier

I played this mod. One time while I was chilling at night.. the most ominous terrifying music played as on the background.. there was a cloud in the shape of noxus with a terrifying glow behind it

Does this boss remind Magolor from Kirby only to me? Especially the attacks he does through the portals. The same portals, when they start spawning, look like stars for the very first moments. Just like in Kirby return to Dreamland.
Nope, I also saw the resemblance. Noxus even kinda resembles Magalor Soul with the hands and single eye.

He and nameless deity were not hard, but SO fun to fight
Someone needs to make a mod that changes his theme to Leader Angie's theme and the third phase to the Gym Leader Battle theme, it fits Noxus way more than his current theme in my opinion.

Idk why but this boss remind me of Touhou fdf 2 extra stage boss Yukari Yakumo, probably has something to do with the dark theme, the portal and the worms

Okay, I'm not sure if this is a me issue or mod compatibility but
With the mod enabled, every time i try to zoom in or out the game straight up crashes. Note that im using better zoom since my monitor doesn't allow me to zoom further

Sad state of affairs when unofficial add-on mods are both faster and probably better at adding future Calamity bosses than Calamity itself is.
Well what can they do. They're a pretty big team and there's a lot of balancing to make sure the mod works. I guess everything gotta have green light from fabsol too before they can implement things

@@purplehaze2358gotta figure, calamity is also adding tons of other weapons, armor, tiles, furniture and making sure the bosses are cannon and go with the current lore, it's a lot to juggle I'd imagine.

I haven't played calamity but how are you damaging the boss?
The weapon Eternity. It's a hitscan weapon auto lockon to enemies. Its projectiles is a line forming infinity symbol on the target

The only problem I have with this mod is that for some reason, it lags my game even in the menú, but it is good mod
yeah, it cuts my fps to half, almost as if 30 was set as the limit, which is sad but whatever, they kinda go to 40-60 when i turn off the background, but it alternates so much

i am playing as melee and i am losing my fucking mind i have been fighting this boss for 2 hours it cant kill me and i cant deal damage to them someone pls help me i have defeatd calamitas aswell and have the best armor and wepons pls help me
Doesn’t feel like base calamity, I mean obviously, it’s an add on. Just people saying stuff like “it’s going to be hard for the calamity devs to top THIS” must have just never played calamity
I mean, both statements are true. It doesn't feel like Calamity at all, but that is because Dom applied a different strategy to making this boss than Fab does. People seem to like Dom's bosses much more, and I frankly can't blame them either.
Why do you feel like they have never played Calamity just because they like the Noxus addon better than the normal Calamity bosses? Most people who play addons have usually tried the base content, like playing vanilla Terraria before checking out modded, or Calamity before Catalyst/Infernum.
Because most of the base Calamity bosses have improved vanilla AIs, whereas Noxus has an original one. Why would Dominic try to imitate Calamity bosses when he can do better?

I like the boss fight,But no the music (It's literally the theme of the boss rush but inverted) the music just doesn't fit, I mean... compare that music which is supposedly against a being that gave battle to all kinds of mobs in the normal terraria and that extinguished the entire race of the yharons (I don't remember the name, I think that it was phoenix something like that) and you tell me that this is his music, he just puts it as a boring battle for something as simple as music, the music that myra adds to the video is great and something like that for the mod I would love it, well at least it doesn't compare to duke fishron, that music really looks bad on that boss
