As aware as I am that I have said this lots of other times, this has to be one of the coolest bosses I have seen so far in Terraria! I had a TON of fun editing this! The visuals are absolutely stunning, the soundtrack was banging, everything about the fight is just... I can't even put all my thoughts into words right now. I'm absolutely LOVING that lore bosses and characters are actually getting boss fights by such talented artists and coders!

I love the little detail that in the intro animation it absorbs ALL the slimes including a Slimehead Zombie, a Gastropod and Cragmaw Mire
and the fact that umbrella slimes are slower

@@kingstonlovely7404 Yes, it was planned to be added a while back but it was scrapped and replaced with Noxus lore wise and potentialy boss wise as well.

Got some lore on them that i just made up: "The left over matter of the viscid primordial, they seem to have the abilty to defy the law of nature and change in shape, form and abilities, to belive that they have such formidable powers while only beeing the leftover mass of goozma. Goes to show that now what you trully are againt's...
I find the opening cutscene for this boss very interesting.
The lore item for the Slime God said that if he combined every slime, he would grow almost unstoppable. In the opening cutscene, you can see the slime god consume a LOT of slime. So think of this fight as a secret phase to the Slime God.
The idea behind Goozma was to essentially be that exact what if scenario.
Goozma is what happens when every slime in the universe merges together
By throwing the Slime God’s summoning item into a King Slime - both incredibly high on the jelly hierarchy - during a Slime Rain event, which is likely the highest slime concentration in a world at any given time, you create… this. What is a King Slime to the Slime God… but what is the Slime God to Goozma?

When I saw that "Touch It!" prompt I had to take a moment to convince myself this was still technically terraria and not an elaborate fangame/hallucination. I have high hopes for mods in the future as this looks insane (in a good way)

The slime made with every slime on the planet, it can be funny if the Calamity devs actually disable the slime spawns if you defeat this boss xdxdxd
Or give you an item that allows you to disable the spawning of slimes. This way it's up to the player whether they prefer having slimes spawn or not, and can change back if they want

10/10 unreasonably large laser blast, unreasonably cool boss to 1-up Astrageldon redux, and other cool visuals bosses.
The music makes me think of what you would hear during a derecho, then the eerie calm then the EF4 tornado. Then witnessing the damage the tornado left behind

This is one of the few bosses that i can agree with
TARR slime from Slime Rancher if it was a Kirby final boss.
since there is more planets that have the astral infection than terraria, a world-sized Goozma could be a possibillity if every slime in the UNIVERSE got sucked into the Overloaded Sludge.
tldr: multiple astral infections = more slimes = big goozma

What a strange boss. There's like three different conflicting stories about where and how to fight this guy, it just sort of dropped out of nowhere, but it's clearly had a LOT of work put into it with a custom theme, unique mechanics, really good visuals, the whole shebang. The steam page for the mod you linked is completely nondescript, as well, like it's trying to undersell itself. Also, no lore.

It’s an old boss that was going to be added to calamity but it was thematically replaced by Noxus. Then someone on Fandom wiki made a fan made bossfight about it and people liked it so much they made a mod. The mod is this video

the fact that the Slime God isnt in there implies that he's strong enough to outwill Goozma (and is still enough to be a pre-hardmode boss)
Last time I checked though Goozma IS the slime god since in the lore if the slime god absorbs every slime then this would be the result

how do you spawn this boss? it seems you need a slime rain to summon it but how do you force slime rain
(Although I'm unsure on how to obtain it) You use a ninja statue from the mod and 4 Slime statues. Place two Slime statues on each side of the ninja statue, and use a certain item on the ninja statue. [I'm SO sorry about forgetting the item's name. I think it was, "(something) Catalyst"]
Or as an alternative, I think Fargo's has an item to start a Slime rain, I think

I figured that the soul is technically just a lore item but there's an actual soul item in the mod that's non-functioning and not obtainable yet. Excited to see more from this mod!

Goozma was an old concept in the mod, basically Slime God coming back one last time, absorbing all the slimes in the world as seen in the video, the idea was scrapped and eventually repurposed into Noxus, an upcoming superboss

I have information as to what it is. It's going to be in a future calamity update. Let me explain. In every single video i could find the description either didn't say where it was feom or stated that it was a creation of the calamity dev team(without directly confirming that it originated from calamity itself ). Some of you might be thinking: " but i saw an addon that shows a screenshot of goozma on steam!!" And to that i reply that this addon (it's name is bad apple) is made by a fan purely to deceive and troll calamity players. It is not where the goozma boss originates from. (Also, the animations in all of the videos are clearly calamity. Even the infernum team isn't good enough at replicating the calamity style and atmosphere to have made this.)
I am also going to repost this comment on every single video i can find on this platform that includes this version of goozma and was uploaded before this comment was posted in order to spread the word of our beloved god of all things slimy: AKA goozma's true nature.
