the fact that Dominic did this in the base mod is so cool. they didn't even need to do it. it's that attention to detail that gets people far.
Man, this is sick. It reminds me of the final boss fight of Smash Ultimate's World of Light where you face off against two beings of light and dark that just cannot put aside their differences for 10 minutes and damage each other while fighting you, making the fight a 3 way. It makes for such a cool fight. I wish this kind of thing happened more in games.

I haven't actually seen Deity lose before. For me he always enters a phase where he takes no damage, then enters a phase where he just starts annihilating the Noxi (Ive spawned in 5 at a time before using outside mods).
the clock attack periodically does heavy damage to anything outside it's safe radius, which is slightly larger than the clock itself.
@@donovanmahan2901 The clock attack itself can shred through Noxus. The bullet pattern is really good at hitting Noxus's large hitbox and the return trip isn't too kind to it either.
Makes sense since in the old lore Xeroc (presumably Nameless Deity) fought Noxus and he got destroyed and had to run

No, in a lore accurate situation Noxus would rip the hell out of Xeroc as the combined dark gods massed strength higher than the combined light gods. Plus Noxus is a combination of almost all of them while Xeroc is many less in number. Xeroc even struggled against Moon Lord and Steve, two singular dark gods sent to destroy Xeroc and only managed to win with the help of the Auric souled dragon race and a few other species living on Terraria
@@nathanael0598 you’re talking about new lore xeroc, right? The nameless deity is the representation of old lore xeroc, back when he was the creator god of everything, so in this fight it makes sense for the nameless deity to beat noxus
@@salarmer1633 Actualy new lore Xeroc is supposedly so powerful that even the Primordial Wyrms wouldn't stand a chance - this all because Xeroc possesses the Deific powers of the Primordial Light, from which he stole from the King of the Dragons. New or Old, Xeroc is top brass of the Pantheon and could likely combat Noxus (who I think is supposedly the ruler of the Distortion) one on one.
@@pokemonfanmario7694 I don't think there's enough info on new noxus or the distortion but we can still suppose that xeroc is more powerful than noxus since they supposedly still come after the other in the progression

i think (THINK, I DONT REMEMBER VIVIDLY) the super smash bros mod had an item that let you lock your cammera on an enemy (since the mod has other item to force entities to fight each other and spectating as a third sucks), that would have helped a lot
it does and its on 1.4 now

What’s crazy is I did this on accident yesterday. I had just come from fighting Goozma into Noxus and then I use Noxus’ summon accidentally since it was in my hot bar during the Xeroc fight.

old lore noxus and xeroc specifically. new one isn't wombo combo of all of the gods of light for xeroc he ate some dragon souls or smthn. hence why it's called nameless diety.
And new lore noxus isn't an amalgamation of dark god's dead corpses all we know is he made distortion in new lore

just a reminder, Nameless deity doesn't actually have the name "Xeroc" that's a given name by the fandom due to the fact that "Xeroc" was a scrapped true final boss in the Calamity mod that has the same title as "all powerful god of light" but again, Xeroc was scrapped and the creators of wrath of gods used the idea to create nameless deity and one of the creators wanted to name him Xeroc but it didn't make the cut likely due to possible copyright in terms of the name, so they went with "Nameless Deity"
xeroc is not scrapped at all, nor was he originally the god of light. Calamity mod is not finished, xeroc and noxus are both planned to be superbosses. The calamity mod also has 0 copyright, they just respected the decision of the calamity devs

Well my specs are pretty good but supposedly this boss is SUPER optimized, so I'd try it out. My specs are in my channel description
