He played in the NHL for over a decade, and was a key part of the Mighty Ducks’ Cinderella run to the Stanley cup finals in 2003. He had a career high of 34 goals and 85 points in the 05-06 season, which was the last year the team was known as the mighty ducks before changing their name to just ducks. He moved to the blues in 08 and played there for five more years before retiring.

Shenmue at 41 and Crazy Taxi at 36 is an absolute disgrace. How did you rank Cannon Spike above either? Madness.
It appears those that made the list lack patience. The only reason for shenmu to be not in the top 10 is if the person playing didn't actually play the game. You can't just play if for an hour, you actually have to go to work and drive a forklift in the game. You can play real arcade games inside the game, it takes hours to get to any of that. In the first hour you get nowhere it's all dialog and not knowing where to go
Shenmue is a boring game, but not putting at top 10 is a disgrace on how much detail was put in this game. The guy who made this list definitely did NOT play any of the games he put in the list and I love how much he's getting ratioed in the comments.
Shenmue looks pretty but is objectively terrible gameplay. Take off the nostalgia glasses

The Sonic Adventure gameplay is not from the actual Dreamcast version, this is the ''polished'' shitty looking ''DX'' (Gamecube) version...

Ranking every game on a system is a bold project. With respect to that, I don't believe this team in fact played all the games based on how some games with merit are ranked amongst the "garbage" area

Dead or alive 2 was mind blowing at the time being able to knock your opponent off the stage and continue fighting was a first

Illbleed is an amazing game, and no that wasn't nostalgia, I played it two years ago and there's a strong speed running community that still plays it as well. A B-movie perfectly ported to video gaming. Now I'm not saying it's the best game ever since it's extremely campy, but it should be around 150 with Last Blade 2 and not below 200 as suggested. Also it's hilarious that whoever rated KOF Dream Match 99 has no idea what that game is. Look up KOF 98 and it still has a very active player base with tournaments. I understand that you guys don't play fighting games, but if you are going to rank them you should at least take some consideration if a game is still actively played by a large community when you are ranking them.
illbleed feels like simultaneously the worst game ever and the best game ever. no single ranking could truly do it justice due to its nebulous properties. i love it so so so much it's horrible
Shenmue 1&2 and RE: Code Veronica are among my favourite games for any system.

their N64 list was also like this. dont pay attention, its just trash, they have random sports titles sprinkled in everywhere if top 300 or top 50 and then some good games lower than 150. the comment section on the n64 video says all you need to know about their lists.

Code Veronica was way too low, must of missed shenmue 2 as I thought that was number 1 for sure. Definitely my number 1, jet set radio not even in my personal top 20
Honestly? Gundam Side Story has always been my favorite Mechwarior type game. Did you guys just die really hard on the first level? You're supposed to order your troop movements so that you take out targets *together*. They have ai, but you're their commander and if you run ahead without a plan you'll die.

Code Veronica... I am no Resident Evil fan whatsoever, but you've got to appreciate the effort Capcom put in to provide a quality Dreamcast exclusive top tier hit. The game has its moment. The end of both discs get exciting. This is a game you have to play on Dreamcast and Google will tell this a Top10 not a number 95.
I noticed you used footage of the Sonic adventure DX port instead of Dreamcast, (Same with SA2, it's not a DC footage) and for THPS2 you used footage of the first THPS (?) Unless if it's footage of a PS1 port

as difficult as illbleed can be. it's a interesting concept and the dialogue is pretty funny. IMO should have been rated higher.

#198 Outtrigger is really pure arcade action, im playing it right now on switch and if i swap the sticks (in the console settings) and move the character with the d-pad, i can play this game with modern aiming controls. It has no story mode, just a series of challenges (like crazy taxi, heavy metal geomatrix, power stone) and a versus mode. It's really enjoyable, but not worth more than 10 dollars i'd say.

Sega Bass Fishing 2 is not that bad dude. It's not a game you're gonna sink 50 hours in but the graphics are good and it's pretty much pick up and play. Good to burn 45 minutes on if ya got nothing going on.
What's the background music used around 18:00? I know its from a dreamcast game, probably Marvel vs Capcom, but I'm not sure.

When I saw Urban Chaos in the intro, I immediately went searching in the article where it was placed. I've done an hour long review of that game on my channel after all...but the inferior PS1 version, so I was super curious if I was going to be PUT IN MY PLACE...and after reading the paragraph about it in the article, yeah it makes sense to kinda just mention it and move on lmao
I had a fun time back then with my Dreamcast, one of the most underrated systems which also had a perfect joypad to control.
Some of my most beloved titles: Sonic Adventure 1 (despite it's awful camera) and part II (for the most part at least), REZ, Daytona USA, Rayman 2, Virtua Tennis 1+2, Grandia II, Le Mans, # 1. place goes to: Skies of Arcadia
Also had fun with some more simple games: Stupid Invaders, Flogian Bros. No AAA titles for sure, but you should give them a try as they are just for fun.

Yeah, I can openly say that Psychic Force isn't a good game, but I loved it. I think it was the super cheesy anime-ness of all of it.
Seaman is amazing and it does not suck.
Do the PS2 next. That console only has like 1700 games that hit North America.
Powerstone 1 felt more polished compared to 2, the transformations and special moves felt more impactful compared to 2. Powerstone 2 was only good because it had a bit more to the level design and a bit more characters and menu features, but the original felt like a more proper arena fighter.
Spawn in the demons hand is also one of my favorites that got me into the franchise and was also a really good arena fighter. I wish some games follow that formula

Well, it took this video until number 192 to go completely off the rails. Ecco the dolphin, while frustratingly difficult and sometimes obtuse, was a technical marvel and a top Dreamcast game. Metacritic score is 84 with 26 professional reviews, for anyone curious.
And what is the very next game on the list? South Park Rally, a truly awful game that even at the time had almost no redeeming qualities.
I’m not trying to be one of the “angry commenters” the video mentions about 6 times, but as someone who experienced the Dreamcast as it released, and has gone back and played many of the games in the years past, it’s important to me that future gamers know Ecco the dolphin on Dreamcast is objectively better than South Park Rally to such a degree that I feel silly even saying it out loud. Even if no one else cares, I just need everyone who reads this to know. 😅
Of all the bizarre and embarrassing voice clips to come out of this video, both from what Fudj wrote himself and what he just narrated, none are more devastating and funny than "I have a confession: I suck ass at fighting games."

I was looking for this yesterday and didn't see it, I was looking for it today and it just came out
Sonic Adventure would most probably make the top of this list for me even if I had played all of these titles, which is not to say any of them are bad. I just love Sonic Adventure a lot. I played the DX version on GameCube when I was younger and still didn't know the Dreamcast existed, so in my mind I was playing a GameCube title and a really kickass one at that. I liked the sequel a fair bit as a kid, but when I revisited it some years back, I just found the later levels hard and, in the case of the Master Emerald sections, _extremely_ boring (plus the mission structure was lame and lazy; I liked feeling like I was in a living world, you never actually got lost because the Omochao always told you where to go anyway). Both earn high praise from me for their Chao Garden features, though, and great soundtracks, but a personal favorite of mine is Speed Highway, which when playing as Tails in a race against Robotnik is actually just... _so_ perfectly fitting. Tails is giving it his all to hold his own without Sonic, it's endearing. I like to imagine the crowd cheering in that banger of a theme is for him.
EDIT: Okay I didn't get to the bit about Crush 40, but I completely 100% authentically agree. The theme song of the game (at least for DX, I've yet to try the Dreamcast version but I intend to soon) and final boss theme before the last lap (which changes to something more generic) is *amazing.* It got me so hyped just to play the game when I was younger and it was just as great finishing off the game with it playing every time.

For Version 1 I could understand but Version 2 should've ranked up at least ten places.

Surprised to see where Floigan Bros. and Psychic Force 2019 were at. Those games were great and interesting takes on the 3d platformer and 3d fighting game genres.
Again, VERY harsh with Toy Story 2. I prefer this one to Rayman 2 The Great Escape. It's actually an enjoyable platformer with cutesy cutscenes. Toy Story 2 is upthere in my Dreamcast Top 50.

And how in the world did Evolution make it to the top 30? Don’t get me wrong, I like it, but it’s one of the most generic, grindy JRPGs out there.
There's no way you did your homework on this list. Definitely not in order of merit, but also not even in order of popularity. This is why we need to actually play these games that have been lost/forgotten. Some are way better than expected.
And then theres another problem with making this kind of list. If I were to tell you that Bejeweled is a better game than Crysis, how would you react? Any gamer would agree there is very little meaning of putting those games side by side as they share little to no dna. One is an artistic marvel of our time, the other you could recreate from scratch in a couple of hours. Popularity isnt a useful metric either. Making a list of all dreamcast games ranked is not very helpful.

Tbh I think you underrated Skies of Arcadia. I'd say it's top 3 even before some of the Gamecube additions. Your number one is worthy of the seat though.
I totally forgot that Shenmue 2, Headhunter and Rez, all well recived games that were basically the swansong of the console, didn't come out in the U.S. Headhunter would absolutly be in the top 15, recommend to any interested in the Dreamcast.

Super Magnetic Neo by Genki beats Rayman 2 by Ubisoft in colour, storyline, music, variety and originality hands down.

They are the true pearls of this console at that time, today you can play Grandia 2 on steam, the best battle system of turn based RPG ever made

But my one weird gripe is how Seventh Cross is rated the 5th worst and yet the pretty rushed port of GTA2 was #177, i would trade those places imo...
