  • Extremely Outgrown 3 months gel nails transformation
    In this video I will transform nails that were done in February! So its been 3 months.
    As I started to remove the products I found some unexpected things such as dry flowers and.. products lifting. We ended up removing all product and doing a fresh new gel overlay.

    I'm in the UK and and there is no beauty places open at all yet here. I've ended up learning how to do my own nails in quarantine watching a lot of your videos and other people's. Now I don't know if I will even end up going back to a nail salon because if I break a nail now I can have it fixed in 15 minutes instead of of having to take an hour out of my day to go and sit and wait in nail salon for one nail. I've been using polygel and dual forms and each time I do a set I get better and better and even my friends have been getting their nails done by me now

      Same. Got a nail set from a friend as she did not like the do-it-yourself. Tried during corona and really like doing my nails.
      I do Shellac only and now I tried to apply it with separate brush.
      Much better. I rather put on three thin layers than one thick layer.
      The integrated brushes from the bottles put too much product on nails. Shellac top coat and base coat is very liquid.

    I cant believe how long these women have their nails on! I have had several different nail techs and my nail beds must be oily or something because they ALWAYS lift or pop off if I attempt to go 3 weeks.

    • @kaley4788
      @kaley4788 4 ปีที่แล้ว +24

      That’s why I do my own nails now because paying these “nail techs” where I live and then the nails pop off or lift not even a week and a half to two weeks after I get them done heck no!! I do my own acrylic, polygel, dips, gel polish I do it all and my nails last as long as I want to keep them on!

      I’m in alberta as well, I was wondering if it’s a regional thing for how she’s doing these nails? They are very different than any ive ever seen and I can’t decide if I don’t like them or if I’m just not used to it. Just seems very thick and left an unfinished feel to it, I was especially confused about how she didn’t do any filing or shaping after building the gel back up....

It had red lines which I think are the red rings you were talking about and it stayed like that for weeks.

    What is your biggest tip for super thin nails? I don’t bite them, and every time I try to grow them out they just break. I can literally bend them with my finger. Getting them done is the only thing that keeps them from breaking but it’s too expensive!

    • @MsNoPixel
      @MsNoPixel 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Get a good nail harder & put a few coats of it on, it just looks clear & shiny like a base or top coat, that’s what I do & it works great, plus it comes off super easy with just a single wipe of acetone. Just recently I bent back a few of my nails & honestly they should have broke clean off but because I had a few coats of hardener on they didn’t, sadly this morning I did break a nail off to the tip of my nail but that’s because it had nothing on it so it was brittle due to their length, I literally just took off the all the shit I had on them because I’m getting them redone all crazy like on Friday & now I have to get a fake tip put on cause I refuse to cut them all.

      Just watch simply nailogicals video on how to grow your nails and follow her directions.
      Some of her tips include: wearing nail polish all the time but especially when you have to put them in water for a long time, use nail oil daily, use nail hardener sometimes if you really need it, don't use your nails as tools, like don't press buttons with your nails instead use your knuckles, don't open cans with your nails instead use a spoon, etc. Also don't buff or bleach your nails.

    Would it be possible for you to do a video showing cuticle care with the flame bit and include the sounds of the e-file without any music so we can hear the difference of the sound if it touches the skin and the nail? Would be great to hear the actual sounds of your work. Thanks!

    6:50 question: when I go to get my nails done and when they start, they don't mess with my cuticles. Should they do what are you doing here? If so why?

    Oh thank you!!! I have always had problems with my nails breaking like her 2, what I used made it worse. Next time I'm doing this!! I need to get some builder gel in bottles, the pink is so pretty 😍 baby girl pink 💗.
    I bet this is what my Mom's friend did to help her get her nails stronger and start growing, I was jealous! LOL 💜❤💜

    I empty tea bags, cut them into little strips and use them to cover cracks. It lasts forever! Ifirst apply a small spot of nail glue. Then it disappears when applied with clear gel base coat. Much cheaper than fiberglass, and can still do French manicure or nude nail because it is invisible.

    WOW. That's almost the same growth I've got now at 1.5 weeks and I had 2 nails start lifting 2-3 days after having them done. It's amazing hers lasted so long

    • @anh7807

      I'd go somewhere else if you are having lifting so fast. You shouldn't see lifting until about 2 weeks...if at all.

    I love that trick with the nail foils. I've always done my own nails so lockdown has not affected me. Nail and hair salons in the UK are still closed. You made her nails look so pretty. My office all work from home so I have had friends reach out to ask how to remove their gels and acrylics because their struggle has been real. None have been brave enough to buy and use an e-file yet 😂 😂
