Anna’s journey is incredible. I never had nice nails. I had hang nails and thin, weak nails that would peel and grow in all sorts of twists and shapes. I started with press ons and noticed my nails getting even thinner! After following you and others on TH-cam I got my first polygel extension kit! I now do gel nails and I regularly have to shorten my nails. They are also growing straighter and I almost have a c curve. It’s almost like the extensions have trained my nail beds. Thank you for all,of the free education!
I envy you! My nails break even if you breathe in their direction but even after a year and a half of getting them done, they are still brittle and bleah. 😢

Nails are so all about nurture! Growing up being taught to push back your cuticles and clip your nails in half moon shape (straight edge for toes) gives you nice nailbeds, and their growth and condition depend on your overall health and nutrition; my nailbeds are nice, but whenever I do not take good care of my health, my nails grow slower, get brittle, peel and curve more 😅 Using products with care helps so much, happy to hear polygel works for you! I also love polygel or builder gel when my nails need extra love and protection, and now I'm down to keeping a set for at least a month so I don't see any damage to natural nails anymore 😍
Yep, been watching Anna since the first video you did with her! Her nails show a lot of improvement. She has a free edge now like you said & her skin looks better so it looks like she's doing well with not picking at it. Her nail beds even look longer! You're doing so good, Anna! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

What I mean is holding the hand flat then filming the side of the hand and nails so you can see the thickness and the slight curve from cuticle to tip (not the c curve). Hopefully that made sense. I absolutely love the nails you do. You're incredibly talented.
That’s from bitting and cutting away the cuticles (as opposed to tidying up ‘hang nails’ etc). It’s called paronychia. I’m glad things are going well for her ❤ and I hope she leaves her cuticles alone from now on.

Anna used to have cuts on her cuticles and redness every time you did after photos. i am so glad for her that she doesn't chew the skin too anymore. it is a hard habit to break but she's doing an amazing job.
I so wish it were easier to find nail techs like you who really care about doing a good job. I've been to about 20 nail salons in my area, and at every one, no matter if it's a cheap place or an expensive place, they just try to get me out of there as quickly as possibly, and hardly do anything but a polish change. Almost no cuticle care, and they also can't be bothered to get the polish close to the cuticle.
@@abithesimperton all the techs, are that same kind of drill-happy salon...I know of 1 good one, very clean and very $$...nice guy and his wife. Rest are all hacks/ butchers

Now I do my own (thanx a bunch to Anastasia) I’ve worn everything from short to 10X length and love showing off my hands. I even got the nickname of “Ms. Cuticle” because I’m very picky now about my pictures. Cuticles are equally as important as the nail design. I see many beautiful nail designs with disgusting cuticles and the picture is ruined IMHO. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK Anna it’s totally worth it!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

this makes me really sad. that’s why i started to sell press-ons because so many people don’t have a good nail tech close to them and it’s unfair!!!
