I'm doing my nails by myself for a few months now, it takes like 3 hours because I can only work an cure on one hand (obviously) at a time. I'd say 2 of 3 hours are going into preparation 😂
Ive had real bad lifting issues with 4 different techs, had to find the perfect combo (acid primer + one specific brand and type of builder gel as base) to get my nails last more than like 6-12 days - they just peeled off. So i would never blame the tech, sometimes materials that fit 95% ppl, dont fit that remaining 5%. But this case seems different tho, bad prep. Watching the lifted up part come off was so satisfying here!😅😅

I used to use builder and acrylic but it never stayed so I tried polygel now I can keep it for 3 weeks with no lifting whereas with acrylic they would break and builder would lift within days
Wonderful job. It makes you wonder if the other nail tech knew what they were doing, though. Thank goodness this lady has come to you she will get good advice & a set of healthy clean product on her nails, thank you for sharing this video
This used to happen to my nails with gel so I went to poly gel, same problem so I went to acrylic same problem then I discovered acid primer I’ve never looked back, I used to use non acid primer before, my acrylic nails now stay on ...👍
Foxy Lady - are there any limitations on using acid primer? Like use it with certain products only? Why does everyone seem to have gotten away from this? I have lifting issues still even though I’ve done all the tips and tricks - haven’t tried acid primer though...
Acid primer can burn and cause damage to the surrounding skin, so you need to make sure to only get it on the nail plate. You shouldn’t really get primer on anything but the nail plate regardless but it is even more important with acid primer
@@hammudles amazon does one called silcare and it's brilliant only 4£ too. Also all primers have a type of acid in them it's just with acid free it's like double sided sticky tape, acid primer puts little pits in the natural nail so that the product sticks better but it can burn so only put acid primer on the middle of the nail as it spreads on its own so just a dot on the middle of the nail plate will do.
😅 what’s funny is that I’d be more afraid of hurting the client so I’d try keeping the nails, and doing the infill. I do think it would be the best way, so yea…😮😊 I think you did wonderful job on those nails! The shape, love the color and the stamping is so cute! It made me think of a song sang along time ago, it had a line in it….I’m leaving on a jet plane…don’t know when I’ll be back again….I used to know more, maybe if I played it again….anywho…. Great job! See you next time! ❤😊

The shape looks good, great job
I personally call that kind of drill bit a flat headed cone but, but I’m not sure on the proper name.
I love your work, that was quite a large repair job, I would have started again. You created a miracle to transform them. Xxx
Wow! What an amazing transformation! Great job and this made a wonderful teaching video. Thanks for sharing!!
Another great informative vid, thank you Ana!
Haven't seen any other like it.
V thoughtful.
Now to do my diy-fix here at home 💅
Beautiful trasformation/fix. I hope your client was appreciative and impressed as we are
I would call that bit a tapered cylinder. Thanks for sharing this great video! So informative and relevant (as always)! 👏🏼😍
Thank you!
But tapered means ending at a point. 😌🤷🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
@@DLee1923 Oxford dictionary definition: verb
past tense: tapered; past participle: tapered
diminish or reduce in thickness toward one end.
"the tail tapers to a rounded tip"
So, we are both correct..
@@DLee1923 tapered means narrow at the tip
They looked so much better, your probably not completely happy with the shape because like you said that’s not your style. But you can see the way you transformed them the will last longer. They looked beautiful.
Great work, a beautiful finish 💅
You are very thorough Anastasia I love that about you and I love how effortless you do this, the tech who did this lady’s nails should not be applying product I hope she’s not charging money for nail application? Thank goodness this lady has come to you she will get good advice & a set of healthy clean product on her nails, thank you for sharing this video
I looooove watching your videos. So inspiring
Love watching your transformation videos. So satisfying!
This used to happen to my nails with gel so I went to poly gel, same problem so I went to acrylic same problem then I discovered acid primer I’ve never looked back, I used to use non acid primer before, my acrylic nails now stay on ...👍
Foxy Lady omg I will have to try this thank you so much
Foxy Lady - are there any limitations on using acid primer? Like use it with certain products only? Why does everyone seem to have gotten away from this? I have lifting issues still even though I’ve done all the tips and tricks - haven’t tried acid primer though...
Acid primer can burn and cause damage to the surrounding skin, so you need to make sure to only get it on the nail plate. You shouldn’t really get primer on anything but the nail plate regardless but it is even more important with acid primer
Has it damaged your natural nails over time at all?? Can you please list your order of product application?? Thanks!
@@hammudles amazon does one called silcare and it's brilliant only 4£ too. Also all primers have a type of acid in them it's just with acid free it's like double sided sticky tape, acid primer puts little pits in the natural nail so that the product sticks better but it can burn so only put acid primer on the middle of the nail as it spreads on its own so just a dot on the middle of the nail plate will do.
not only that u do great job but your playlist...im in love u got the best out of the best songs:)
These are awesome. I love pointed almond.
Wow, what an amazing transformation, I bet she was over the moon with the result! The colour is gorgeous too! Tfs, your videos are always extremely helpful and informative, I would definitely have removed them and started again! I can't wait for the stamping gel I've ordered to arrive so I can have a play with it! 😍😍💕💕Xxx
I think the shape matches her nails much better
Hi, Anastasia!
What a great job! 🤩
How long did it take for you to make this transformation? 😬
Thanks! About 3,5 - 4 hours with filming and recording lessons 🤪
After watching a lot of videos like this i know know my reasons for not going to nail techs anymore and doing my nails myself are justified.
They always filed my cuticle area so much that after my nails grew out i saw a reddish indentation that looked like my nail was carved and everything else that was in this video. Lifting and missing nail walls
The nails look amazing I really enjoyed watching this video really enjoyed it thank you sweetheart and I love the colour
Beautiful transformation! I want that stamping gel now 👀
Love the stamping gel designs, gorgeous work x
Wow nice transfirmation they look very nice
Flat top cone bit is what I'd call it ☺️ You did a great job Ana! 😍❤️👏Xx
Thank you, Sabi!
Great video! I would call that bit a tapered cylinder bit :)
very nice I love the way they turned out
