Thanks for sharing these places. We have already visits two of them: Memento Park and Flipper Museum. We almost went to the Labyrinth, but there was an issue with the stairs. Can’t wait to go back and visit the Palace of Wonders and the Retro Museum. Stay fluffy! (Eric)
Hi Akos, we are just on our way back to Budapest Airport after an amazing 5 days your city is beautiful and we have enjoyed every minute. We did 49 miles on foot in total and now we are worn out. Thankyou for helping us get the most from our stay in Budapest 👍👍
Happy to hear you enjoyed your time here. :) 49 miles is a LOT! Congratulations on surviving such a long walk :D You proved that Budapest is indeed a "walkable" city :D
I'm sooooo happy that you accidentally decided to follow my suggestions in the comments regarding creating videos about public transport, cheap food, and now about 'off the beaten path' attractions and even ...Fiumei Temető! 😃😃😃 Recently I came back from Budapest and can't wait for another visit. I visited many places thanks to your recommendations and I really think you should have more visitors on your channel. 👍
Well we do look out for what people are saying and it gives us ideas and different perspectives to explore in future videos :) Thanks for your continued input and thoughts on our videos and for the support! :)
Brilliant videos I really like the energy that you bring, I have been trying to restore an apartment in Budapest for the last 10 years now with no luck, I wish that every Hungarian had your enthusiasm and energy. :)
Visiting Budapest from the US and came to Gozsdu Lángos Bistro after watching your lángos video. It’s very good, and I found a great dark beer here to enjoy with it! Thank you for your videos!
This video is AWESOME Akos ! For those who want to " take a break " from seeing the traditional Budapest sites with a lot less crowds - this is the ticket ! Your research, narration and cinematography and tasting the local food makes me want Budapest more and more and this is because of your 5* TH-cam channel. Thank you for your hard work.
Out week in Budapest will be too short to visit all the places I discovered since I found your channel ❤ I have already made a very long list and just keep on adding. I will have to do a proper selection so we can fit as much as possible in a week 😂❤ Thank you for sharing your knowledge of your beautiful city with us. ❤
we are visiting budapest at least twice a year, and i think i can be some solid tourist guide there 🙂 i think i know public transport there better than in my own city...sometimes i think how i am out of places to visit but budapest surprise me again and again...i missed miniversum and book cafe at andrassy avenue...book cafe was great, it looks like some down to earth version of overhyped new york cafe and one of the best kept secrets of budapest...
Another great video. I've been to some of the places mentioned and intend to visit several more. For the record, I would toss in the Semmelweis Medical Museum in Buda as I found it to be a fascinating museum showing the history of medicine
Thanks! And also thanks for mentioning Semmelweis Medical Museum! There was a time when I was planning a visit, but forgot about it in recent years. So I will remember it now as I am really interested in Medicine and it's history and Semmelweis is also a very important person for the industry with a unique story.
Excellent video, will definitely go to the retro museum 😀 looks brilliant and serves my favourite beer 🍺 soproni 👀 😋 ,it will show me how my grandparents lived
I love you guy ! You are the best ! And I can tell you that I will be watching your videos very soon, because I will stay in Budapest for about 2 weeks very soon.
Oh, I live here and I never heard about the retro interactive museum. Totally taking my american friend there when he comes to visit sometimes next year.
Thank you for your wonderful videos. They are very helpful as I try to learn more about Hungary before my trip there later this year. By the way I think visitng cemeteries is a great way to see the history of a place.
The Hospital in the Rock was an absolutely amazing tour! I highly recommend it. Unfortunately the Labyrinth was closed when we were there which was a bummer. Next time I suppose.
Hi Akos ! Another great video ! Coming to your wonderful City on August 28th and your video's are going to be a life saver. One question that I need answered, why is there a black tower on the Mattias Church?
Hey there! Thanks for your continued Support! :) I really hope you'll have a great time when you visit at the end of August :) Regasrding your question about the black tower, I saw you asked it before and I gave the following response :) : "That tower is called the Huszártorony or Hussar Tower and it is made out of wood. I couldn't find any reasoning on the color but I would assume the reason for the distinct color compared to the rest of the building is because of the material it's made of :) Up until now I didnt know much about it, but thanks to your question I looked it up and it is called Hussar tower because it sits on the back of the church like a hussar on a horse. Because of this placement it needs to be light in weight, which is why its made of wood. I have also learned something today :)"
I have an idea for a possible video for your channel. How about making a video about Budapest comparing the cityscape of Budapest with the cityscape before the war and what has changed since then. Examples would be the Elisabeth Bridge, the old National Theatre, the castle, or numerous lost domes. Or you can talk about the planned "Maxi-Dubai" project and share your opinion with us.
Thanks for the idea, as someone who is interested in architecture that is something that's been on my mind for some time, but will see how we can make that happen, would like to learn and improve to make sure that video will be excellent once we get there :)
I keep meaning to check out Momento Park but it's out of the way and a little pricey so I keep putting it off. I can thoroughly recommend the Budapest Retro Museum, my Hungarian wife probably enjoyed it more than me and my parents did.
Yeah, it's a pitty that Memento park is so far out, it would deserve a better location... it's more for those who are enthusiastic about history or have been to Budapest multiple times. :)
Watching this while waiting for my flight to Budapest
I hope you had a safe flight in the meantime and will enjoy your time in Budapest! :)
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures hello prety bad time in Budapest ATM got my card and neithrr banks or cops are helpful do you have any idea how to fix this
I really like your videos. We are coming to Budapest in December. Spending 5 days, so getting lot of tips. Thank you

I really wonder how long your list of things to do in Hungary is right now, as I always see you have a lot planned for future visits :)
@stuffedcabbageadventures Lol! Well there is just so much to do and see! Your videos don't help you know. You're helping me add to the list! 😂
Memento Park is just like a real life version of the Statue level in Goldeneye 64 😅
