My pleasure!
❤ thanks for the info
No prob.. stay tuned for more videos thanks
Thanks bro, will go bike searching soon 😂
Good, jio me kopi after buying
More economical if you’re an active rider who do a lot of touring. For causal riders will still stick to Sg bike as they can access anytime if they just wants to do some road riding locally or joyride.
Yes sir u r rite. Those of us who bought in msia spent a lot of time riding in msia. That's y it makes sense. 😂 And we already know what bike we wants as long termer. So the bike will be with us for a long time.
I have thought of this for quite sometime. My problem is storage.
The problem will be solved very soon. Cos me and my frds renting a space to park our bikes and will make it available to Singapore bikers too, for a monthly parking fee. It will be secure, with metal gate and roller shutter and under shelter. We are scouting for a place now. Tentatively we will get it started by July latest. Those interested can wa me at 9297 nine351. There will be limited slots also. Cos we already have 6-7 bikes. And more and more are joining. 🤣
Carpark can be rent. I have my toy car in Malaysia. Too
@@nigelchung86any suggestions? Interested 😁

Great video! I am considering buying a bike in Malaysia and then importing it to Singapore, will it be cheaper than buying the same model directly in Singapore?
Hi bro.. after all the import taxes and arf and Coe, not sure if you will save a lot. Have not know any guys that has done it yet. Most of us buy in Msia to ride in Msia only.
can you recommand you bike shop to buy? and place to rent to park the bike? Good idea sia, I own a 2b bike in Singapore, and want to ride Africa twin. But I realised the cost of owning a class 2 bike is too high and no much use for Singapore road.
Hi bro. Ya.. it's very tiring and pointless to ride a class 2 bike in sg. The shop i went to mostly sell Suzuki but I will ask them where to buy the twin. Most probably at the Honda big wing dealer in jb. Africa twin if new should be less than 30k sgd in msia. Will update
@@Eatdrinkrideuncle Thank you
Hi I am interested in bike shop and where to park
@@JayronOng1991 hi bro, what brand of bike are you looking for ?
There is 1 shop in skudai selling a used 2019 A twin 1000 for 60+k rm. Ng brothers and son. The rest are mostly in KL. The newer crf1100 selling for 80+ 90+ k rm used.
Your mention passport to log card. But when u renew passport the number will change. So how will it affect ?
Hi bro. Have asked the bikeshop about this problem previously. If you are particular about it, can update JPJ regarding the change and print out a new updated log card. But have to pay an admin charge. If not, just keep your old passport ard when its expired.
Can you not ride the bike back into Singapore? I thought you can but only for a maximum of about 14 days only or something. Can anyone clarify?
Cant ride into Singapore if we are singaporeans. Once u buy, its forever yours. I have frds who bought , years ago.
If ur a Singaporean, strictly no driving or riding into sg a foreign vehicle
Yes , 100% cannot ride into sg if it's a Malaysian or other countries vehicles.
Can you provide info on where to keep the bike in JB?
I went to check out a few places, there is 1 that only do for offroad dirt bikes. Another one is very costly, so I'm asking a friend who runs a factory in Gelang Patah to give me a space to let singaporeans park their bike under shelter and locked for a monthly fee. Cos me and my friends have a few bikes to park also. Will keep you guys updated as will be meeting him next week.
Cool.. waiting for update too

Sounds enticing. How long have you done this? Any theft or vandalism to your bikes while you were away? The bike cant be serviced in SG. Are the workshops reliable? I’m not fluent in malay, will that be an issue dealing with shops and the system?
Hi bro, around half a year for me, some of my frds around 1,2 years. No theft issues but probably becos it is vstrom. If more ex bikes like BMW, Ducati, have to find a secure place to park. Theft of parts like brembo thou, hard 2 say. No issues with language cos I'm not fluent in Malay too. Most of the malays in workshop in jb are able to understand English too. And many workshops and bikeshop have Chinese bosses or staff.

The big question is most of us dont have a jb address and no place to park it. any advice will be more useful

You can park at my house. My address Mount Austin
Best part can pump 95 in msia
Haha I try my best to pump 97 everywhere except in very isolated areas where nobody pumps 97. The 97 petrol there might be very old petrol 🤣
Can park at my rented house, Mount Austin, Johor Bahru
can give location?

I no class 2b 2a or 2. Do i need show the shop my license.
If I remember correctly,They nvr check my license. Anyone can be owners of bikes even those without license. But of cos it is an offence to ride without license anywhere in the world. 🤣
No need to show.
Hi bro, what is the cost range of long term parking arrangment of a bike in MY?
Hi bro, in which state are you parking your bike ?
@@Eatdrinkrideuncle looking to park somewhere in JB
Hi bro, I have asked around. Sheltered Parking cost is around 300 rm a month . Some cheaper , some more ex, depending on locations.
@@Eatdrinkrideuncle Thanks boss! Appreciate it!
Can you share the shop name which offers this bike storage service?
Bro, any secure place. I can park a bike in jb? Any contact?
Yes bro wa me at 9297 935one when u free.
Why can't u ride the bike back to SG? Don't a lot of msia bikes ride to SG?
Singaporeans cant ride foreign bikes into SG. Who will buy sg bikes with Coe if we could all buy in msia and ride in sg. 🤣
@@EatdrinkrideuncleCan't ride to Singapore because it's a foreign bike but is it possible to ride to Thailand?
@@Randomcontent-yv7me yes can, although I have not done it yet. But was told no problem.
@@Eatdrinkrideuncle When crossing thailand u have to get insurance for your vechicle and u can pass. max is 30 DAYS If i am correct. all can be done on the spot
what about license? international license?
No need bro. They dont check . I still using sg license only.
how about owning a property in Msia? Thank you!
Ermmm.. most condos can buy, landed need 1mil rm minimum price unless otherwise stated by developers. Got some frds bought at danga bay, 500+ k RM. But now go up to 600+ k already. 2 bedder 800 sq feet unit. After buying property, you can apply loans for bikes n cars here. Have fun shopping!
Hmm... Seems good idea...can buy condo and cheap bikes and😅 cars.
@@MLOO123 ya , if buy condo, can do loan for bikes and cars. And can park in your condo. 🤣 Rent also can.
can ride MY bike into thailand?
Can bro. But I have not done it yet. As long you have the logcard in your name, no problem. Correct me if I'm wrong, guys. Thanks.
how often u ride in my? why not rent bike in my instead of buying.
Every week bro. 😂 considering the price of the bike which is slightly more than COE, it is much cheaper long term to buy. 😂
Why rent when it can be urs forever in msia? I am not a rider but I have my dream car in msia.
@@nigelchung86 ok good. come to msia spend money😁
What about buying a Malaysian car?
Procedure is about the same. My sg frd just bought a car in jb. But must full cash if no property here.
@@Eatdrinkrideuncle But where to park man? That's the problem, car not as easy to find parking as compared to a bike and will be more costly haha
@@dd-dd2co me and my frds looking for a big secure space now to park bikes n limited cars. But cars might not be sheltered thou. If sheltered will be ex. Another way is to rent a cheap studio apartment which comes with parking 🤣 it's still worth it cos the price of the cars are so much lower. Imagine a used GLE400 for 40+k sgd.
i have done it. yes loan is difficult if you do not have a property there. car above 15yrs old also cannot loan. If its a used car, you have to do a B5 inspection cannot rem how much. other than that there u can go to their JPJ (msia LTA) to transfer ownership. beside there is also a stall sell insurance. their road tax is together with insurance . i paid 900 rm for my EF9 CIVIC with no NCD.
@@nigelchung86sweet...good chance to hunt down old skools ride in Malaysia... My dream car is the NSX 😅😅😅
why would someone with a right mind buy Malaysian bike ?
Becos many of us already stopped riding in sg. And only ride in Malaysia anyway. It is just a bike. We dont need to sayang it everyday.😂
@@Eatdrinkrideuncle But already have SG bike why not just continue riding it in Msia?
@@efgerfgergferg6749 yes you can continue to ride your sg bikes of cos. But me and my frds choose not to. So we just keep a 2B or 2A bike to go over and go touring on our big bikes in msia. No inspection, obu, Coe, mods restrictions, much cheaper and so on. We just want to buy and keep with us until we stop riding. Cos most of us are middle aged.
By the way 😂, just to clarify, we not encouraging people to buy Malaysia bikes. This video just tells you that it can be done. And the pros n cons. But if more of us buy in msia, it might free up more quota for those buying in sg. Win win for sg bikers 😂.
Dislike coz I jealoussy,😖
Haha
