- Bob and his son Dan have been collecting classic cars and trucks for as long as they can remember, and Bob has decided now its time to thin his herd of cars and trucks and focus on the ones he really wants to fix up and keep, therefore, 80+ cars and trucks will be sold this weekend at a Vanderbrink Auction in Excelsior Springs, MO. Both online, and in person bidding will be available. There are multiple makes and models of cars, some being restored, while others are more likely to be parts cars. Happy bidding and good luck!

Hi Ryan. That blue Impala is a 1969. I used to have one. I hope you buy the 1961 Bel Air. My first car in 1972 was a 1961 Impala with the 235 six and Powerglide. Gas was about .25 cents per gallon in Iowa in 1972. Good times.

Am recognizing the 1953 Dodge .
Those were used for police cars in Sweden but are hard to find to day in Sweden .
Very few left witch are not totality rusted up so i wish it come to Sweden .

Swedish police also had 1953 Plymouth cars.
Chrysler had a factory named ANA in a city named Nyköping in Sweden were they built limos ,taxi cars and police cars until the end of the 60`s.
The cars was only built in Sweden with all the parts from America and all American limos was built at the ANA factory .
They also built British car like Austin and Standard Vanguard.

Don't know why people don't like this model year more, they are very 1950's cars 6:40 - for once a non-red and not-black Corvette ! 8:00 yay, huge modern beast that makes ecologist terrorists cry 10:04 - yay, fins ! 10:37 - rare down-draft airconditioning ! ;) 11:10 - hi Oldsmobiles ! 14:14 now that's a weird beast (out of my decades of expertise) 16:25 - omg a Super SPort ! Round round, get around (she gets around) ! 🎶18:03 - a '55 Customline, the middle line one 19:08 - someone loved his Impala to order it with that factory air 20:13 - throw in all the planks and pipes with that long bed ! 22:32 - poor Imp :( 24:01 - once-in-a-decade Ford that is both pretty and modern, they usually get either one or the other aspect 25:55 - let's go wagoning ! 27:08 - with a tinted glass it seems ? 29:40 - when you want a Cadillac but can't pay for it 33:56 - cute '55 Plymouth with a V8 34:05 - first year for 4 door hardtop, 1956 37:09 let's love it 40:54 - omg a Biscayne is loved ! 43:29 - that's orangest car ever ! That Riv 21:56 gotta be a '66 or a '67. The detail that indicates it's a '66 or '67 is the letters/emblem on the hood. But those part are missing, so only the engine can tell what year it is. (or the vin-number for that matter)
The '66 has the 401/425 nailhead and the '67 has the 430 under the hood. Also the '67 has a thick horizontal bar that runs across the grille
'69 full size Chevys have loop front bumpers, from the '65-'70 generation,
26:49 I'd guess that 1959 Chevy Nomad is two-tone Classic Cream/Highland Green Poly. A gem, and I'm a FoMoCo 1968-1971 guy.

@@IowaClassicCars True story, Jay Leno passed me driving a coal truck on Victory Boulevard in Burbank, CA. Truck drives like a stagecoach, just as high in the air, and has a steering wheel, instead of reins.
Hey Ryan, I don’t know if you know this but if you are not sure on the years of cars look at the taillights. Most all cars from the 50’s to the 80’s have some letters and a - then it should have the las two numbers of the year. Hopefully this helps.

They made the “Nomad all the way up to 72 and came back in the late 70s I believe with the “Nomad” Chevy van!

Jag is a Mk V and NOT pre-war but the model which came just before the Mk VII. It was made between 1948-1951 and has the same frame but the old, pre-XK engine with 2.7L or 3.5L pushrod six (which means that the XK OHC will fit, and I have seen it done in the past. You could even fit the discs from the last Mk VIIs so it's possible to create something which would be useful even in modern traffic but look original). Restored ones go between €40K to €60K here in the EU. There was also a drop-top model but those are twice as expensive, and maybe one or two station wagons done by an external coach builder. In the US I suppose they are not as desirable but still it's a rare car, far rarer than the model which replaced it and even the sport XKs.
