      @@edwardcricchio6106 It depends. What you start with, how much work you do to it, what you put into it and how popular what you are working to start with.
      What do you start with. You want to start with something that has the least amount of work on it as possible and needing mostly cosmetic work if possible. And then having as much rust based repair work as possible.
      How much work you put into. There is a cut off point where to start. If it is within five points of repair and has as little as rust as possible, (Unless it is in a place that you can't avoid it like the Rocker Pannels in Square body Chevies.)
      Popularity of the car/truck. This is based on what is the most popular of each vehicle for sale. It would ba lot harder to sell a Coronet, than Challenger or Charger. A Pinto over Mustang.

    • @edwardcricchio6106
      @edwardcricchio6106 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@user-xf2my3hq8x All valid points. I spoke with Steve Magnante from Junk Yard Gold about the whole process and he echoed similar sentiments. He did say to do it on a television show is nearly impossible because many shops do not want to be involved with restoration and many issues always arise with production costs and so on. But, I guess if someone has the skills and a lot of free time, it would be a real kick to see a junkyard discarded car returned to glory. Perhaps a father who wants to give his 17 year old daughter a restored Camaro or Mustang and isn't concerned about making a profit on selling the restored vehicle. I think that would make for a very interesting video

    I'm amazed with all the TH-cam channels that show these auctions of cars from the 40's, 50's and later. Clearly old timers collected (hoarded) and saved these old cars from so many decades ago. They then passed on and the auction folks show up. What I haven't understood is who has interest in saving and driving these old cars from say the 40's and 50's? I never see cars from that era on the road doing a Sunday drive. The people who had emotional connections to them from their youth have passed on or, are really old. So, there can't be much value in them these days and most sell for scrap prices I'd imagine. I think we all like and appreciate seeing these really old cars from so long ago but how many of us would really want one in the garage. With that said, I'm glad people are saving them.

    This was very entertaining to watch, seeing two fellas walking around looking at old cars that they didn't know what year or model they were. It's very dangerous to buy cars that you don't know what your getting yourself into .. but I admit that I don't know anything about Broncos, they all look the same to me, so I wouldn't know if it's worth any big money or not like some of them are, but pretty sure most of them that are worth big money never started off as rat infested rust buckets. But keep up the great work guys, I like what you're doing and wish you much success❤

    Love the 4 WD Crown Vic. And not just 4 WD, but like a bigfoot 4WD . . .

    Very cool! I had a '72 Bronco with a 302 boss...loved it. That was back in 1980. Yup...I'm old! Great videos and really enjoy the Christian references! New to your channel and watching from Montana! God bless!

    I learned many, many years ago to not follow the Piper. That even comes to vesting in Classic Cars, I have owned nearly every type of vehicle available in the UDA. And when it came to buying a car or truck I learned the less prominent would usually serve me and be more profitable than Fords, and Chevrolets. I am 84 years young and still playing in old Classics.

    After seeing my buddies daughter pay $120,000.00 for a mediocre restored "68 Bronco, I think you boys did good! Christine might be the wrong year but a 12 valve makes everything better!

      Body is fair , no floors, lots of rat poop. For an engine it’ a 305 Chevy and trans that looks like it never worked. We bought it for parts for the 72 javelin . No other decision made yet. Brought the 46 PW and a trailer to fetch it. Mud was no problem.
