      She is getting a little older now, so it is up to Af-Am females to get this and much more info out there! Regina King did it and now many more need to step up and server by doing the same. Carrying the "torch" is and honor!

      @@patriciacrawford2583 the truth is, (specifically the "problematic" people) They Truly Know we are the Earthly Truth. Our unstoppable capabilities knowing our amazing Truths, THAT is what scares the Truth outta them about us. We are absolutely the Earthly Beginning and the answer to far more than we may ever know, especially since they have gone to Immeasurable UnGodly Lengths to confuse and totally erase our truths in effort to leave us ignorant and hopeless about ourselves with every generation. ...a people wandering aimlessly. The affects of a pitiful people without a country, roots, nor a past is what they hoped to create. But prayerfully, the old adage will ever ring true that says, "What goes on in the dark will come to light." That our truths will continue to surface and be broadcast to us all around the world throughout the end of time. Their efforts to keep us uneducated, miseducated and Down remain works of The Wicked, and what The Bible says regarding the consequences for The Wicked is so fitting in this case. Still, in spite of ALL of their unthinkable efforts, Like the Sun... "Yet, we rise and shine brightly!" Keep striving, and thriving Y'all. ...and with every opportunity, do what's right, because it is the right thing to do. Let us be people of Great Integrity. ...and Remember, "Ain't no quit in us at all!!" ...and DOWN, IS NOT "A Thing" designated for us! And when Shirley ran for Pres. my Pops said "she knows she won't win, but she's blazing a trail so other blacks will have a path to follow to the White House"...lo and behold, Jesse came thru...Sharpton came thru..Barack came thru...and now the black female VP, Mrs Chisholm imagined, is on her way to the WH. Madame Shirley, you must admit, was a God send in the midst of all the hate and racism of the time. Not only does Delta Sigma Theta get to pay homage to the Queen, all Af-Am females stand in awe of her grace, intelligence and poise! Now, we have a Vice President (AKA) who has repented this county with grace, intelligence and poise! Shine on ladies...

    She has the dignity, poise and wry humor of a true leader and survivor! The shame of those so called "representatives" treating her so badly. But history always sets the record straight- she's getting a movie made about her and those others have faded away. You're still a force to be reckoned with, Madame Chisholm!

    I was happy to hear they are doing a movie about Shirley Chisholm. I was a young girl during her time and appreciated the fact that a woman who looked like me was bold enough to take on the challenge of being our first woman Black President of the United States. You could not scare Madame Chisholm - no way - she was not afraid of the establishment of men who did not like her. I was so proud to be a woman of color during her time and prayed no one would hurt her.

      Kathleen Pfeiffer 61 ? my mistake, No offense but I thought you were in your late 40s max.People that age were barely out of Kindergarten when Mrs Chisholm made history. but you've been involved since the early 70s . you are very committed.We need more of this today.

    • @pfeifferpack
      @pfeifferpack 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Lechiffresix six You just made my day! I thank Lady Clairol LOL. I agree we need that sort of commitment and involvement. Too many battles still to be fought and some re-fought, all our gains need to be guarded. I had hoped things would have improved more by now but that doesn't mean giving up. Being silent and uninvolved make it easier for wrongs to continue.

So Regina got her accent right. Will continue watching and poo back again. Great interview though what a Gem.
