I hope this gives you a glimpse into the legendary world of the Ring!💍
Possibly I may do a more detailed version of this in the future...

Thank you for this!!! I am currently watching the ring cycle and keep recognizing themes, but want to be able to name them. This is so helpful!

It's wonderful to recognize themes which may sound as mere beautiful jottings and musings, yet actually house meaning. Forty years after initially hearing Wagner, I'm continuously making my own discoveries.. I agree with your assessment.

Good heavens. I'm so glad my high school marching band's music was simplified or we'd never have been able to play anything by Wagner.

I'm tremendously fond of your work here, (not to mention of Wagner's himself). I appreciate not only the visual issuance provided of the precise notation in regard to these leitmotifs, but the glorious audio of which these notations represent.
Wagner's "Magic Fire Music", though not the topic of this video, showcases numerous themes represented above. The manner in which these motifs are superimposed upon one another in the "Fire" music is stunning. At minimum, 5-6 of these motifs coalesce in this scene. If one, when blindfolded, were in receipt the music only, they could accurately describe the action on the Operatic stage. This "Fire" music is a premier example of just how these motifs can coalesce in the most perfect of ways. I simply cannot escape the sounds of Richard Wagner. It was he who caused a stir within my soul to such a degree, that my vocation as Principle Clarinetist was of my ultimate desire.

Thank you, nice job but what about Siegfried's motif ? One of the most important theme of the Ring.

the Siegfried motif is clearly based on the first nature motif because he grew up in the forest and is "innocent" and thus immune to the Ring, as opposed to the curse motif which is a minor key version of the Nature motif as Alberich's curse is a "corruption" of nature and opposed to innocence

but the minor key version of the nature motif is Erda I think

Très intéressant , mais incomplet !!!! Il manque des "Leitmotive "importants ,tels que ,par exemple ,"Siegfried ", "La Rédemption par l'Amour "! , "L'Héritage du Monde " etc .... !!!!
