I went 15 years without a cleaning. Took them 1 hour to do a deep cleaning, spilting it into four visit. Total of 4 hours. I spent the next 3 years without a cleaning due to covid and was recommended for another deep cleaning. Took them 15 minutes and 2 visit so total of 30 minutes for a this deep cleaning.
From my experience, it can take 4 hours and it can take 30 minutes. It is completely based on how much work is needed. Work was done by the same doctor.

How did it go? Did your gum disease disappeared or your teeth disappeared? I have gingivitis rn and planning to go to dentist tomorrow.

@user-is3yn7xr4c after the deep cleaning my gums still bleed when a brush for the next 2 days. Once in fully heal, the bleeding stops.
There is no more bleeding. That is a good a good sign. However, the sign of gum disease or Periodontitis is base on your perio charting. I haven't taken any measurements recently. You dentist normally do that once per year

I'm having a deep cleaning next week and I'm worried. Will I be able to feel any pain? And how would you say your experience was regarding comfort during the deep cleaning?
The dentist mentioned I will be receiving a local anaesthetic and that it would take about 30 minutes.

@@Miriam2136 If you start to feel uncomfortable because there isn't enough numbing, you can raise your hand to let the dentist know you need more. Talking to your dentist is important because everyone feels pain differently. What might be just uncomfortable for one person could be painful for another.

This is not the Great Advice. I found out that Gum Health comes not so
much from the outside, as from the inside. With the Right Foods this can

Deep clean only take the present local sack of it. The bacteria stays on your saliva and starts forming the sack again and again. So you will pay around 1000 dollars every 6 months or every year of your entire life. Find natural remedies used for generations and visit your dentist just if you want to take the present bacteria locales under your gums. Remember the saliva will carry the bacteria anyways if you don’t kill them there.
I am not a doctor I just have a gum periodontal desease and I already missing two molars cause of it. I am using natural remedies that are doing the job naturally increasing saliva production balancing the PH of it avoiding acidic presence and getting very good results. ❤ just my experience and own investigations cause this deseases can cause cardiac problems , Alzheimer, demencia , etc and I got scare.

@@Gummybearkillerr My upper Gums where INflamed and Receeded. I have a Video on that on my Channel. I had Health Issues for all of my life...and I always went to the doctor but no expert could help. THEY TRIED, THEY SPEND TIME AND MONEY... but here it is in short.
My Upper Gums receded due to Dryness in my Diet, and therefor lack of good and nourishing Blood. If your Gums receed it is due to your diet and lifestyle.
I was eating out, eating alot of roasted meat, which isn't bad ...but I needed more REAL FOODS, that helped my body CREATE Blood and transport and nourish all of my Bodyparts. The Upper Gums are linked to the Spleen, STomach and Pancreas... The Lower Gums are linked to the Large intestine. So my DRy Stools and my receeding gums where linked to my Diet and Lifestlye.
Check out the Video I made on that. I will make a better one soon.
You need to eat more ALIVE FOODS again.

And deep cleaning costs 2,000.00 dollars. So many dentists lie about needing it. Deep cleanings make them rich.

Cause the bacteria stays in your saliva so grows again. Balancing the ph in your saliva will stop the bacteria formation. Acidic environments in our body cause all of our illness. My experience , my own research. Not a Doctor. ❤

Yes you are right I was quoted 2000 with a discount being applied from a dental plan I have. But I have previously done a deep cleaning back in 2015, which I also spent around 2000. But stopped going after 2017. So now it seems like all the work done doesn't count, and I need to start all over.
