Common culprits that we should avoid
    1. grains + corn
    2. sugar intake
    3. Dairy

I've done a Whole30, it's very eye opening and if you've never done an elimination diet they can really show you what you are sensitive to.

Can you do a video on the controversy between the "belly button in to activate TA" and the "breathe against the wall (belly out)" when lifting?

Is this something an Everlywell test could help with? Instead of trying an elimination diet?

Yeah but how do you know if you are suffering from gut inflammation or not? How do I tell if it’s not just extra body fat?

Great video! Whole 30 is an amazing program. I've never felt better than when I did my Whole 30 earlier this year.

What about goat or sheep dairy? I drink goat kefir and eat sheep yogurt.
Also, does she mean no 'processed sugars'? Because anyone who's tried to follow say, the candida diet, will know that fully eliminating sugars is extremely hard and that diet is not recommended for longer than 6 weeks. Also, it's great if you want to lose weight but if someone, like myself, is already at a fairly low weight, I have concerns about whether or not very restrictive diets like that are the best. I find a lot of these diets are toted as being great "weight loss strategies" along with helping other issues, such as digestive. HOWEVER, there isn't much information for people that simply want to fix gut issues WITHOUT losing weight. I get that based on averages the average person is looking to shed a few pounds. That is apparent in that almost any time you say you have a restriction in your diet people will automatically jump in with "But you don't need to lose weight!" There needs to be more focus on non-weight loss goals. Not everything about health is about weight.

I tried to eat bread again today and I feel bloated and gassy. Usually eating veg, protein, fruit, and dairy I’m fine.

Quinoa contains the same chemical compounds found in the grains above mentioned. It's not actually healthy, as advertised by the fitness community.

It's good for people who don't have access to a lot of food, but most Americans have way better options.

Great info except GMO doesn't inflame just by being there. That is a religious view lol

    • @ashscott6068

Yeah. When I hear ignorant garbo like that, people lose credibility. Like, if someone believes that and wants me to believe it, at least tell me which genes were modified, and what changes they cause in the plant. It reeks of the microwave paranoia, when microwave ovens first came out, and people with zero understanding of radiation, immediately put it in the naughty corner. And "inflammation" has become a multi-purpose scare tactic for anyone with BS to sell. The word is used so loosely and in so many completely unrelated contexts.

That's ridiculous advice. All grains is not a good solution to addressing when one has an issue with wheat. Wheat it unlike any other grain and of course sugar is inflammatory. What about processed food, meat, dairy? The Whole 30 is extremely high in fat and has tons of nuts and seeds and peanuts? Several people have peanut allergies. This is bad advice...
