Yeah, creepy is a pretty accurate description. It's crazy that he actually hit on girls, with their partners in the voice chat, and still acted like he had no idea why he was kicked from the Discord. I'm amazed they were as patient with him as they were. I wouldn't be.
Not surprised, really. I'm a female that plays ffxiv and have learned over the years that a lot of men that play ffxiv have no idea how to talk to, date, or be around female players. They try and use female players up, over and over again with an attractive avatar because in real life it just doesn't happen for them. If I had a dime for every high-pitched southern guy I heard talk to me in Discord I'd be rich. Omg LOL
@@natebroadus8474 I could see him genuinely not knowing what he did wrong because he is showing some very narcissistic traits.
People like him are so used to their negativity and personality traits that they genuinely don't see their flaws and when they get kicked out of a community for these kinds of actions, they believe that they got kicked for no reason and will build animosity as a result, likely why he tried to trash talk OP.

I will admit, I never realized how much unwanted attention a person can get until I created a female bungirl for my wife on my account. I wasn't on that thing for 10 minutes before I had tells from people I never even met before.
To be fair, tho, it's an MMO problem. I came from WoW, as did my wife, and she has told me some stories...
I hate that I knew someone EXACTLY like this. Desperate guys are the worst.
I never understand why people have such patience for others within game communities. The whole point of gaming is having fun with your friends and for me it is really easy to tell who is friend material and who might detract from that friend dynamic. Someone like that steps a toe out of a line they get one warning and done after that.
I hate that I know so many people that fit his description 🙄......
I subbed just for the stories, thank you for this series. It's pretty eye opening to see how crappy some people can be.

Omg I knew someone similar to this. I wont name names but it was this lady and she was often friendly to me and everyone else and I figured we were good buds so I was pretty energetic towards them back. Long, long story short, eventually she'd whisper me in game or send me in-game letters asking if I'm mad at them. A few times I would say in fc chat "I'm going to turn off game chat, need a break" and she'd take it as she was annoying me (to be fair, only one time I did that in response to her annoying me and by that time I had already dealt with her strangeness).
In these messages we'd exchange about her asking if I was mad at her, she'd beg me not to tell her in rl husband who also played the game. Here's the thing, I'm a very sympathetic person and I can relate a lot to feeling like I upset someone by doing something/something I said or just usual demeanor so I get it. What I *don't* get too well is why after reassuring this person that I wasn't mad and often sat down to conversate with them heart to heart for about 15 minutes nearly every time she'd ask (which wasn't every day), that she STILL had to urge to ask if I was mad at her.
I eventually did lose my cool on it and when she begged me not to tell her husband I simply responded with my infuriated feelings on the matter. I did go to her husband because we were also good friends at that point and he told me something interesting. So apparently, this isn't unusual behavior for her and in fact she's a known gas-lighter in life to her husband and often was an abuser. The more context he laid into me the more the pieces fit and made sense.
The husband isn't with her anymore, if I remember correctly she was also a cheater (cant recall, it's been a few years) but yep. Moral of the story is if someone seems to keep disregarding your genuine advice and keeps circling back to what you guys addressed over and over as if nothing ever got resolved then that, for me, is a red flag. I hope the added spacing for this long comment helps any readers!

Men who try to put their thinking of how dominant they are on girls
Men who make love confessions to girls they have know for like 3 days and do a whole series of drama after being rejected
Girls who make guys pretty eyes so they would do anything for them (crafting, raiding, even setting up a whole clup and managing it)
Oh and don't forget those who get wet/get a boner from a race and will talk to you in voice how how and sexy your character is looking
Even a whole FC who tried to bully people out of their FC if they say that one of their core people is insulting others
(Srsly I could write a book about everything I saw, heard and experienced...)
Of course they raid and have a static xD A staple in the drama series!
My first drama involvment in ff14 was also savage raids, don't think anyone cares much about anything outside of that and ultimate to be dramatic about it.
@@Kuroganemk2 The thing is we don't, we're a very chill group but the guy could not take correction. Kind of person who would merk you and then snap at you for it.
@@saraxhardxcore Well its mostly cos people learn diffently, some are more willing to learn or at least try, this will cause friction depending on the goals.
So awkward met a female like this in wow who messaged me and multiple friends with pictures and such 🤮🤮 like we would be trying to play a game and she would just be in the discord lurking trying to get attention.
In ffxiv it's more of a female sprout player that's new and just goes around and around Limsa dating every guy that speaks to her.
Thats what happens when you ignore literally every red flag :o

my old fc leader was a creep. chasing after cat girl players, and calling me kitty in vc. i asked him to stop multiple times, then when i became a lala for awhile he stopped being friendly with me insulting my playstyle and what not going back to friendly when i went back to cat. then claimed that a person was theirs to their irl fiance. then when one person left the fc a catgirl, he went to the friend who joined with them and demanded that that person be brought back. lot of things happened that led to a bunch of people leaving and now when ever i see a sprout catgirl with that fc i just sigh and shake my head.
Does he know some of the cat girl players might be guys irl?
I had similar experience 😭 he played aura girl and i was playing miqo girl and he would just sit on my lap and be really uncomfortable!! Thank god i left that fc and joined my besties fc omg

The FF14 Community is toxic af. During Raids, they hardly ever let the Sprouts finish watching cutscenes lol
