In this exercise video Meredith will be guiding you through one of our "Basics" series workouts focusing on your full body using resistance bands.
Our "Basics" series workouts are focused on getting back to focusing on proper form, technique and posture. This is a perfect routine for anyone starting out with exercise and/or using resistance bands. Using bands is a great way to build strength in a controlled and safe manner when executed correctly.
This basics workout is geared towards beginners but can also be done by anyone at any level of fitness. Used as a warm - up for more advanced levels or as a great starting point for those just beginning with resistance bands. Our basics series focuses on the correct movements you will need to get the most out of your exercise as well as keeping you safe.
Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.

I enjoy exercising with you. I've only been using videos for maybe 6 months, so nothing is routine, and I appreciate that you remind us to relax our shoulders and to think about orr abdomens. This is the first time I've done this workout all the way through. Thank you very much for all your videos. I'm 79 and have been trying to get in shape for about a year now. I don't ever plan on stopping.

Are these exercises safe for someone with three herniated lower discs?
Yes they are Sue, just be aware of any twists or bends that may not be safe for you!
