Heck, I just bought a Versa S 4 speed auto that looks exactly like the one in your video for $4700 cash with 151k miles. It's going to be my commuter. It drives like a big car and has lots of room inside. I'm 48 BTW. My other car is a 2015 Lexus GS 350, but that one is for my wife. I despise the modern overpriced vehicles with all those stupid screens and planned obsolescence tech.
This was my first real car - same color and all! Bought it off my dad in 2015, my junior year of high school. Ended up putting almost 165,000 miles on it. It ran pretty much without issue until March of this year when the mass air flow sensor ended up crapping itself and rendering the car undrivable. Got it fixed, and then it ended up happening again in July and then again two weeks ago ... along with inspection, I would've needed new front brakes, two new tires, and a new ball bearing, which would've ended up costing a little north of $1,000. Decided that it had finally run its course and sadly said goodbye to it last week and traded it in towards a brand-new 2023 Hyundai Venue. Gonna miss my little Versa!
My first was a 1981 Toyota Corolla Tercel hatchback with the 5 speed in turd brown. Might have been an SR5, but I can't remember. It met its demise during a hand brake turn on a gravel road where the rear beam axle found the limit of the unibody rust issues. Still a fun little shitbox while it lasted.
Nissan Versa models lineage is little confusing - in US you got Nissan Versa HB/Sedan and after that Nissan Versa Note. But in UE for example there were Nissan Tiida HB/Sedan 2007 (same as yours) and Nissan Note 2007 Microvan/Minivan - actual predecessor of US Versa Note (Nissan Note II in EU). Tiida/Versa HB 2007 1.8 MT is my second car - cheap (car, parts, service etc), roomy, does not rust like Civic or Focus, has nice equipment and its easy to install 3rd party 2DIN multimedia player. Cons: - 4 nuts wheels (114.3) like Nissans pre-2000 models - quite hard to find nice alloys - bushings etc likes being replaced - tall drivers complain about limited front seat adjustment (horizontal/rails) - bad opinions about automatic transmissions And my first car was 2007 Note with 1.5 diesel engine (too loud and not enough reliable for cheap and small car), got it from my dad
i love my nissan versa so so SO much, i just love how it drives, i feel so connected to it
I am a double Versa owner. I love these things. Thanks for reviewing it!
