Nissan still offers the Versa here which is awesome. It actually has a good amount of power too for what it is, and comes well-equipped. Too bad you have to go with the CVT on most models.
To think people responded to higher gas prices back then by buying sensible vehicles. Nowadays they just buy overpriced hogs and bitch about gas prices (still around $3 over 15 years later) as if they’re surprised 🙄.

This was honestly a very good effort from Nissan overall.
Gas is well over $3/gallon today and everyone drive trucks and SUV's. I'd like to see some small cars return.
