For example, I could tell you about the time when the exploration battalion was looking for Bertolt and Reiner on the run, it was Armin who had asked the troops to search the walls. They didn't understand why he asked them that but it seemed like Erwin thought Armin's plan was a good idea and right after it turns out that Armin was right. In the video showing this scene I had also seen a comment saying that Erwin and Armin were like father and son lol. It was also because of Armin if they managed to find that Annie was hiding behind the Female Titan. I can also mention the moment Armin made a plan to defeat Bertolt and his colossal titan when Jean thought they were all finished. Moreover, before saying farewell, when Hange named him Commandant, she spoke of the quality of commandant that is a mindset of continuously pursuing understanding, and that Armin was the most suitable person for this role. Floch went through hell, he had motivation, his views were built on the bones of friends, he became a radical, but at the same time he loved his country and his people. The funny thing is that there were no other people like this in Attack on Titan. The same Eren fought not for the people, but for several friends. Next comes Historia, who accepted the motivation to fight, but unfortunately Isayama simply “threw her out” of the plot, although she had enough ideological inclinations, and her special connection with Eren has not gone away... Not just this. Floch's entire existence resulted from him having the absolutely greatest Plot Armour in the entirety of AoT when he survived a full frontal change towards the Beast Titan without any major injuries. Honestly I don't get this whole argument about Plot Armour. AoT has always had plot armor like every other story. Almost every major character survived the finale of Season 2 when the scouts had no reason surviving that many Titans with no coverage. That was plot armor. Erwin survived having his Arm bitten off. That was plot armor. Everyone surviving the cave collapse at the end of Season 3 because Eren found his Deus Ex Hardening ability. Almost every major character surviving the end of Season 3 Part 2. Because we all know fire and heat can't travel down narrow tunnels. Armin survived being burned to a toast long enough to be revived. And just in general none of the scouts kicked the bucket in such a high stakes battle. But now all of a sudden people have an issue with Plot Armor.

I stop you there. On the contrary, I always thought that there was an air of Erwin in Armin, not only physically but also as a strategist and in his ability to quickly divine and understand his enemy's plans.
I'm sure these are the reasons the author replaced Erwin with Armin.

And now I sincerely consider him one of the most interesting characters in season 4. He did more for the plot in a few episodes than Mikasa did with her snotty scarf in the entire series. They had no real reason to fight and nothing would go their way even if they won because if they win the alliance will just annihilate their home and all their people.
Lmfao everyone saying floch doesnt have plot armor, when he somehow survived and held onto the boat the whole voyage. Yall are on some biased copium.
It's called "survival skills". A soldier is taught how to survive in tough situations. Floch wasn't surrounded by death but the whole alliance was but escaped due to the writing of making the so-called heroes win
@@Coxzucker_1337 where do you get such amount of copium ? I want some as well.
@@Coxzucker_1337 literally one could make the exact same argument "alliance were the most elite of eldias scout regiment, not to mention have 2 Ackermanns, that's why they survived". Also no amount of "survival skills" will train you to hold onto a boat traveling across the ocean while critically injured. They don't teach that in soldier training lmfao. literally claiming alliance has plot armor but floch doesn't is copium. It's an anime, they both got it.
Floch survived a full Frontal barrage of rocks from the Beast Titan.
Reiner survived by shifting his consciousness to f*cking knees.
Hange survived a Nuke because she fell into a well. Because we all know fire and heat can't travel down narrow tunnels.
Armin survived being burned to a toast long enough to be revived.
And just in general none of the scouts kicked the bucket in such a high stakes battle.
But now all of a sudden people have an issue with Plot Armor.
Appreciation for the animators of MAPPA who concentrated on the pupil slight dilation when Floch was dying.
Seriously, the best character in the series.
Meanwhile all of the main cast were doing the whole, "I know everyone going to die if I do this.... but plot... and plot says I have to and I lose my plot armor if I don't."

in the post-credits scene, it was shown that many years had passed on Paradise and the inhabitants of the island had noticeably grown in development and lived in peace until humanity bombed the entire island and began the cycle of hatred again. That is, there was peace on Paradise until the world destroyed them. There were no conflicts on the island for centuries, until the world destroyed them. Floch was right 👑
Erens rumbling couldve suppressed all wars to come for like thousands of years which is why I was always team eren, floch, and zeke

If Eldians wouldn't act like monsters, the world wouldn't treat them like monsters. We know that Mikasa, Armin, and the others lived long lives. Who are their descendants to us the viewers?
"Centuries" was retconned in the anime. We got to see a cyberpunk city before it all came crashing down.
The original manga depicts Paradis being carpet bombed in a modern setting, which would be 50 to 100 years later at best. The "heroes" really screwed up stopping Eren.
@@Conan_the_Based You'll notice in both the manga and anime that the building don't begin to modernize until after Mikasa's death. So I'd say it was closer to 150-200 years. Enough time for entirely new conflicts to brew unrelated to the Rumbling. All Eren wanted was for his friends to live out their lives in freedom which they did. The continuing of that peace was up to their descendants, which they failed to do.
I hate that when Hange dies they show her soul among the old heroes that died when the plot was simpler, but doesn't show Floch among them, as if to hint Floch is a villain or belongs in hell... when: 1st the plot isn't as black and white as that; 2nd floch is the one following the first plan, the one everyone was into first... so basically your place in heaven depends on where in the timeline you died, not your purpose... I think they did floch dirty in that bittersweet dead Henge scene

What exactly would suddenly put Floch on good terms with Hange there, watching the plane he LITERALLY JUST tried to stop take off?
Can't stress enough on just how much I hate the alliance. The fact that Hanji is acknowledging Floch's words yet she's willing to GAMBLE the fate of Paradise for the people who genocided then is actually insane. Kind of crazy to know that Floch's actions weren't totally fruitless: he DID manage to kill Hange because of this lol. That's kind of a W in the end. Floch died, but he ended up taking Hange with him to hell.
Even still- to fight for a cause that isn't resultant in genocide is the path of humanity. That is what they all believed. Even if thousands of years of peace gets trampled on in future generations due to the horrific actions of the past; genocide never is and never will be an answer. Even Eren has never actually tried looking for a way that is outside of anything he's seen from future memories- he despises slaves yet he was a slave to ensuring the future he saw happens exactly as he foresaw it.
We shouldn't kill on the basis of the past.
We shouldn't kill if it means taking the freedom of others.
We shouldn't kill to eradicate if it means survival.
All of these actions are purely baked in selfishness and never ends up right.
Yeagerists were not right, if they followed Armin's plans, maybe things would've been different. But nobody would know because nothing has been tried- purely because Eren wanted freedom in his time, not for the future generations, which ultimately costed him.@@UmQasaann

But the main takeaway here is 2 things;
THAT future would've been uncertain.
And Eren WANTED TO flatten the earth.

@MiniDNM incorrect. His ability to see a future was a future that was set in stone that he couldn't change. He said this himself.
But one could argue Eren didn't try hard enough. In the end Eren is very selfish and selfless at the same time.
Maybe fear is used, but so what? They can argue it was to defend themselves as they keep trying for peace. The problem is that any other future was not ever seen by Eren. He said he tried to do things differently, but the future he foresaw always came to be.
