Shayley for sure. Aaron is incredible, especially in Jamie's Elsewhere, but Shayleys voice seeps into the soul and makes you shiver. There's more magic with Shay
Both guys are amazing vocalists nuff said. I love the band now, and I loved them when Shay was still apart of OM&M. I follow both bands, Dayshell is Shayley's band and he still has that mesmerizing voice.
Shayley Bourget has always been my favorite vocalist Of Mice & Men and he will always be hands down, but I also give props to Aaron Pauley too, he brings that same energy Shayley brought when he was with them but still I love both of them a lot but Shayley is always my favorite of all time. So props and respect to both of them
Shayley has that calming voice but Aaron has that hyped up voice... a lot of people are probably gonna hate me for this but ever since Restoring Force was released... in my opinion they have all grown closer together and I truly think that that is their sound... so I'm going with Aaron
I always thought Austin Carlile had a mediocre vocal range, and Shayley's vocals honestly made the band for me. Then Aaron joined and his vocals were just kinda..there. They didnt go well with Austins voice. Then Austin left and now, Aarons overall vocals are pretty decent. But I'd really love to see Shayley get into a new band. Preferrably a band with a good vocalist to match him too.
Shayleys voice is a little too soft for the heavy nature of omam. While I like his vocals more than Aaron's, I still feel like Aaron was a better fit for the heavy clean vocals of omam. After Austin left earlier this year i did some research on Aaron to see what the band would sound like without Austin. I came across Aaron's old band Jamie's elsewhere. Upon listening I see that Aaron can perform both clean and rough vocals. His vocals are not as soft as Shayleys or as heavy as Austin's, but can fit the band and will have to.
Both are amazing. I wish Aaron would've stuck with 'Jamie's Elsewhere' tho, that band had so much potential. I guess it worked out for both of them. Shayley gets to do his thing with Dayshell (awesome band) and Aaron hopefully will do more with of mice and men. I honestly wish OM&M would get a new bassist and just let Aaron focus on vocals. He's also a great screamer and now that Austin's no longer in the band (sadly) he'll get to show that more.

As i told on an old comment...the style change because of Austin...he can't scream anymore and that's why they changed the style of music...maybe next OM&M album will be heavy :P ...anyway,i liked Cold World haha...the album is full of meaning on their lyrics.

The reason he can't scream is because his disease Marfan syndrome was causing tears in the sacs surrounding his spinal cord which was causing spinal fluid to lea and causes immense pain. The screaming was causing the tears. There is no cure for Marfan so he is done!! It won't kill him if he takes care of himself but his days of touring and screaming are over which is why he quit. It's a shifty disease to have, I work in an ER and people who have that have to take it easy.
They both have such good voices but none of them never went along all that well with Austin's tone. Which is probably why OM&M's latest 2 records and Dayshell sound amazing and well rounded within themselves. Just my 🌰

I can’t compare them, they both pleasure my ear holes greatly and they both have their plusses and minuses. Of mice & men or not.
