Hi Alison! I agree, thrifting in different places is always a different experience. Anyone reading this who hasn't seen your New England thrifting video should definitely check it out. I didn't know that about Spratling. Thanks for the education! The cinnabar pieces were beautiful. I get what you mean by "Hawaii time!" A friend of mine worked for a year at a cable tv outlet on the big island in the 1990s. She was amazed that they would schedule corporate meetings not for example, at "10:00am Monday morning," but just for "Monday morning," and the meeting would begin whenever everyone arrived.
