Its glaringly obvious that Matt is a gentleman and that he would do anything for you, so its laughable that anyone would ever think he wouldnt carry boxes…lol…some people.
Kayla was a yard saler on her own for years so she knows how to grab things and get on to the next one.
People stop criticizing who does what in their LOVING relationship. They are obviously wonderful human beings whom are old enough to live their lives! For gosh sakes grab some popcorn set back and enjoy . If Matt or Kayla needs your advice they will ask .

Wish people would stop quoting Ebay when selling stuff. Very few know the difference between "Listing" and "Sold". You can list things for anything you want/ Doesn't mean you're gonna sell it. Plus, the "gold" on those glasses wasn't real. I had the same set. I love Libby glassware, but they would definitely not use real gold.

For Matt...being such a tall guy, when you stand up quickly after squatting down it is not unusual to get a little lightheaded, especially if you are in the heat and not staying well hydrated. My advice (given as a retired PA) is to stay hydrated and check your BP when this occurs. You may be hypotensive.

Matt the padding goes with the older quilt, used batting then to be the mddle layer of the quilt. She said all hand done so you would feel it moving more, less stitching.

If you are so inclined to look back... At the sale with the harvey purse there was what appeared to be a MCM Blue glass apothecary Bubble Lid canister jar. Some are quick sells for $12-$15 A lot of them are made in Belgium.
The condition inside of the purse is what I like pristine. It's where you put all your stuff! The inside counts the most to me.

Kayla you can clean the inside of a coach purse. Just pull out the lining and soak it in the sink for a few hours in soap and water. You can hang it on a clothesline to dry or set it out on the counter. They usually clean up beautifully. I have done this several times

It is obvious to me that Kayla is very focused at these garage sales and Matt wanders around picking up miscellaneous stuff and distracts her. Lol they do work well together though and it makes me smile ever time it happens. I love how they both interact with people as well. As for Matt not sharing the bundles they buy back to the car, maybe he does have a back problem? Cameras are heavy! Lolol
What do you think a quilt has inside of it besides padding? Even a “handmade” quilt with “issues” is still worth picking up.
It's quite possible that the quilt wasn't quilted heavily enough and the batting had clumped together through the years. Pretty sure that's why he said what he said.

My Great Grandma (died at 93 in 1974) always put cotton batten inside her quilts...it makes them super warm..and when I started seeing them without it later in life, I thought it was so wierd...so....it was probably an antique!
