I got the steel series about a year ago when it was on sale for like 20 or 30 bucks. I think 40 dollars more is a bit too much but this is a VERY nice mouse pad. My previous ones would shrivel and not clean that well. I upgraded to better material and RGB and I would not go back. Only complaint I have is it needs a better audio visualizer for more colors and sequence.

Just ordered the SteelSeries QcK Prism XL Mouse Pad, and once it comes in, I will have it along with my Apex 7 RGB Mechanical Keyboard with Red Linear/Quiet switches, and the Rival 3 RGB Mechanical Mouse! When I get all three setup under PrismSync, I will have at my hands the ability to sync all three units RGB's and make a great light show! THAT is why the QcK Prism is more expensive. The Luxcoms is a nice mouse pad, and for $22 it indeed is the best budget model.....but it can't hold a candle to the SteelSeries! SteelSeries is the best all around peripheral manufacturer on the planet! I am so glad I upgraded to the Apex 7 and Rival 3, and now the Prism XL mouse pad!
I plan on getting the Steelseries cause i am familiar with their mousepads. My 2XL mouse pad has lasted me for years and also acts as a good mat for soldering on.
Just a tip to help your channel blow up. It's all about background, sound, and video quality. There's programs like splice that help you on the cheap to get nectar 3 to get the best automated voice over assistant. I would totally invest in the SM7b With a dynamite stick or cloud lifter. Your more recent videos have better video quality. Unbox Therapy has it down to a science. I'm not saying copy but definitely have your spin. Lou just sits at nice table good background wide angle lens and good mic. There's most likely some processing and preset settings on his vocal. You have a good voice. Keep upgrading. Make quality content. That's what it's about. Just wanna help you blow up. I did subscribe.
After seeing fully custom coloring definitely going with the $60 option.. no mousepads ever have orange which is what my whole setup is made and based around!!
I paid $20 for the Havit extended game pad. It's the longer version, like these two, but is not programmable. The lights transition very smoothly, and the surface is also, well, uh, smooth, with a very well made all-rubber base. The cable is braided and removable. All-in-all, no complaints from me on this purchase. So far, I've purchased all Havit main components for my system. A KB389L RGB Mechanical Blue Switch Keyboard (awesome!!), the MS760 Gaming RGB Mouse with swappable side panels for both sides (fantastic, with one 3 button and one 9 button version for the left side, and one smooth and one raised for the right side), and the RGB game mat I described above. Along with the VersionTECH RGB Mouse Bungie/USB Hub, my RGB went from none to....uh, A LOT!
If I didn't know better, it sounds like you might work for Havit 😂 haha. I'll have to check them out at some point - Definitely a big RGB upgrade right there 👍

nice review man, but what you didnt say is, that steelseries is the king on Mousepads, almost all pro gamers use QCK+, the surface its for sure way to much better then that Luxcoms, its not just the RGB, its the quality
Thanks man 👍 Yeah I noticed that it felt more premium and tested what I could with a surface analiser tool using my Mionix mouse. As I don't have any definitive data or know exactly how my mouse was testing, compared to real world, all I could give was my opionin and the results of the mouse test. Which definitely favored the Prism. Wouldn't feel comfortable telling you guys something if I can't back it up or know how the data generated. Cheers for reaching out!
Great review! I just had one question: does the Luxcoms mousepad retain the last effect selected by the user after you shut down your PC and turn it on again? Or does it switch back to some sort of default profile? Sorry to bother you, but this either makes or breaks the deal for me.
While you system is powered off it still supplies enough power to the Luxcoms to stay illuminated and will keep your chosen effect. If you unplug it, it seems to choose a random effect when you plug back in - hope this helps!

Your voice and accent are very similar to my Engineering professor, it feels like I just left a fun lecture on which RGB pad is better. I just got the luxcoms today, I am kinda disappointed with its brightness and cheap control panel but the mousepad's great quality plus my keyboard and mouse are red and blue (Old K70 and G402) I have no color combo going anyway so I just leave it on color cycle and it adds nice ambiance. Would you recommend upgrading to another mousepad?
I bought the Luxcoms mousepad, and it broke after 2.5 months. All the modes are screwed up. The color cycle and breathing cycle no longer work, the colors around the contour of the pad are all uneven, and the light flickers like it's shorting. For example, if I select purple as my color of choice, it now flickers to cyan, or half of the light strip becomes cyan. I tried contacting Luxcoms, and their support never responded to me. Amazon bailed me out and gave me a returnless refund for it, but when I tried to order it again, the price of the Luxcoms pad had doubled for some reason. The only functional setting I have now is a static and uneven red light.

I had this mousepad for a year now, and it's great. I also have Steelseries RGB Mouse and RGB Keyboard. All of them uses same driver.
