Spinning Outside on an 1890 Antique Spinning Wheel: Becca's Yarns - ASMR Birds, Wind, Gentle Thunder

The weather was beautiful for spinning outside. Come join me for a spinning session of some lovely hand dyed wool on my 1890 L. S. Laurence Canadian Production spinning wheel. It's a pleasure to see you spin on your PSW Wheel. I also have one mine was made in Quebec by Frederic Bon...something or other a real beauty. Made in St. Hyacinthe Que. Canada. So fast...same sound. Taught myself to spin on it. What an adventure, i agree quite the workhorse.

Your wheel sounds fantastic! I am so impressed that you taught yourself to spin on it. They go so fast! My first wheel experience was with a modern double-treadle castle style - an Ashford Kiwi 2. I still have that wheel and love to spin on it.

Your wheel was made by Frédéric Bordua. I also have one of his beautiful wheels, and I start almost every day spinning a while on mine, listening to that same sound.
