Excuse me sir. America DID come to Pakistan's help. They sent their 7th fleet I think. Russians stood by and had us have our own wars. Please stop pretending that you just stood by. You bet against India not once, not twice but a million times.
As recent as The Kargil War, America supported Pakistan, even playing the "Big Daddy" trying to intimidate Shri Vajpayee

Presents only half the picture. Pakistan was created by the British as a reward to those who opposed Indian independence. As a result, it was natural that it became part of the West .
The claim that US helped India in 1962 is nonsense. Before the war, the US refused to sell defence equipment to India. In the war, US support was limited to speeches, despite Indian request for actually getting involved. The US offer of help came only after China declared a ceasefire.
In the 1990s, US continued to pour money into Pakistan despite the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan. US supported Pakistani extremism in Kashmir and Punjab. It required 9/11 for YS to become a little neutral.
Even now, the US continues to launch propaganda attacks against India in support of drug dealers. To justify this, it calls drug dealers as religious leaders.
The US has definitely had an anti India bias in its actions. This is why Indians do not look at US as a trustworthy partner

@@ramachandrankannan274yes. Exactly. They never said a world on pak lead terrorism in india. They were silent on people dying in india, had active role in mumbai attacks,Richard hadlee was a double agent. They support khallistanis, kashmir militants. America was silent on people dying in india for 40 long years. They actually supported Pakistan dictators. They were working close with dictators. Indian democracy never has any appeal to them. They preferred communist China. Bashing indian democracy was always their favorite sport. So people of dont understand US
Russia on other hand always understood indias concerns ,problems. People of india have no reason to distrust resent Russia. Growing US friendship means a lot to them but that automatically doesnot make them suddenly
hate Russia. India sees Russia as reliable friend.

    Few corrections:
    1. USA did support Pakistan in 1971 war, infact US/UK used their 7th fleet in Bay of Bengal and pointed missiles towards India.
    2. USA did not sell weapons to India because it did not want to go against its most favored ally, a military dictatorship, Pakistan. US was totally in bed with Pakistan.

Mr Know-it-all must get some facts corrected..
1- Pakistan didn't become Islamist after 1971, it was the basis of its formation in 1947
2- Nor did it feel backstabbed by US in '71 as all its arsenal including best of its time Patton tanks, supplied by the US ,and also send its Navy to directly intimidate India.
3- US did sent its 7th fleet, along with aircraft carrier and also told NATO members like UK and Turkey to send help to Pakistan, which was killing and raping millions of innocent civilians in today's Bangladesh.
4- US kept giving monetary, military, moral and diplomatic support to Pakistan fully knowing it being adictatorship and terrorist state.
5 - US kept pushing India to the wall by acting viciously against it time and again in UN, and denying technology, knowing fully that it was it was the largest and fully functional democracy.. so much for being savior of democracy.
6- Russia/ USSR helped India numerous times in need, without India not being a member of Warsaw pact. India although not believing in communism, likes Russia, because its knows gratitude and friendship
7- US is fooling itself by believing it can buy loyalty by throwing money to Pakistan, as all Islamic countries are inherently anti-west, though their leaders may show otherwise by receiving favours
Sadly, US has not learnt its lessons, and still supporting Pakistan and antagonizing India .Because India is not Pakistan.

The west has been run by crooked traitors for quite a while. Politicians and bureaucrats are in rebellion against their own citizens. Somehow they find islam useful, or find it necessary to appease. Because of oil? Money? Perversion?
You could help by commenting on leftist/Democrat/Labor channels and teaching some real history.

I think mostly correct analysis, only 1 correction if I may. Pakistan immediately joined the American camp just after independence. Fine India had no problem, India did not go to US camp and remained non aligned. Pakistan can not say thay US not helped Pakistan. In case India had attacked Pakistan then immediately US would have supported Pakistan with full might. But India never had illdesigns against Pakistan as India considered Pakistanis their own ( from same culture , from same region, having same languages) but since then they were dead bent for partition so it was done. Even after partition India gave them the status of most favored nation. But Pakistan thought now US at its side and all the latest military equipments, they initiated all the attacks and democratic US could not help them. In 1971 when US tried to help them then only India in its protection signed defence deals with USSR and USSR helped democratic India.

The bet on Pakistan was good because USA's objective to have a vassal state was fully reciprocated.
The bet on India is bad because the very fact that you are talking about bets on Pakistan and India in the same deluded pontification means you understand precisely horse manure about Indians' desire for true autonomy and continue to expect them to crawl like a vassal, and will be disappointed to find they won't, ever.
