@@jeffclark2725 that damn power probe won’t got away 😂. The only reason I did that deal was to intentionally piss that company off so they would leave me alone. They hounded me every single day for a month before I final decided to agree, and then make a video doing everything the opposite of what they wanted, and beating the hell out of their product. The only problem was that it held up to everything I threw at it, still works great to this day, and they absolutely loved the video and then wanted me to review every product they make 🤦🏻♂️
That's a badass compressor and yes heavyD's videos are nothing but one big long ass commercial. With a nice big clickbait picture and title at the beginning of it that actually has nothing to do with the freaking video. Kinda like you title videos owner upset over cost of tow when as it turns out you didn't charge him anything. So yeah you're just as guilty of the clickbait title.

But Rory, you and Casey, and all those who choose not to commercialize this platform are the reasons why we watch you guys more. If you choose to add to your coffer by adding in ads, we’ll still watch you, we’ll just FFWD through the ads like we do with everyone else…..or maybe not now, as Casey has explained to us how we can help you make more, which in turn may allow you to make more content or better content. Thanks for sharing your story about having an ostomy bag. My 15 yr old daughter almost died from ulcerative colitis when she was 5 years old. You're an inspiration and have shown that it hasn't slowed you down. Thank you again for sharing.
Yes and my son had the same problem and operation ~ he was only 20 years old ~ but it saved his life and he is now a successful flooring contractor at 30 years old ~ I'm so proud of him 💙
One of my brothers has suffered with ulcerated colitis for several years and has had to have a bag. He's currently waiting to have a big op so he doesn't have to have the bag anymore.
Just stuck an F250 and a 34 foot travel trailer in the mud, 225 feet from the road. I never expected not to pay for that recovery, but really appreciate that you are out there helping folks stay safe and get on their way for free. Also, as a Crohn's patient, really appreciate your honesty and resiliency.
I’ve got a pretty good BS detector and when it goes off I usually quit watching a channel. Casey has never even jiggled the needle. Real solid content.

If ya ever wanted to see a tow operator/recovery man with integrity, honesty and respect...this man is all that and more. Casey, you're a classy upstanding gentleman and that's what drew my subscription to your channel. Just enjoyable to watch with no bullshit and a heart as big as gold when recovering people form the mountains AND working hard to keep the recreational areas around you clean, you care and care big. Also the lovely family, doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know you love your wife and daughter deeply. Hell you've also shown a great repair shop in Elite Fleet, I've said it before I'll say it again that if I'm in the area and my car breaks or needs service...they'll get that work no questions asked. And finally, the views of Oregon you share...don't ever stop that!
Great comment and I agree with you 100%. That's the main reason I watch this channel. I do not own a jeep nor do I do any off roading. I prefer a paved road and a clean garage. I do, however, admire people like Casey.

A lot of people dot realize that subscriber count means absolutely nothing once you get the minimum needed to get monetized. Yet they still telol viewers to subscribe, even runnier when a channel with 1+ million subs does so. On my channel I never remind or tell people to sub or like, I kinda figure they know the routine by now.

As a general surgery practitioner I recognized your ileostomy appliance right away when you stood up in the water. Your next scene you were explaining your history of Ulcerative Colitis. I cared for 100's + ostomy patients and love the fact that you and so many more are able to live normal lives! Keep doing you man! Your an awesome person.
Watching Heavy D's vids is tough...a difficult to stomach combination of reality TV and one continuous commercial. For me, supporting a channel via Patreon is akin to another person supporting the arts. So enjoy the support Casey, you earn it.
I,feel the same way about The Heavy D channel,and The Used car salesman in him runs Deep. He does great things for people but in a totally opposite way than This channel.
This is the first time I've seen anything of yours. I follow Matt's off road recovery. I respect channels like yours who are honest and upfront and do good things for people because you are genuinely a good, nice and decent person.

Like I keep saying, I greatly appreciate your honesty on ad revenue and your sponsorships. There are so many other "influencers" who will push anything to their audience for the almighty dollar. I also appreciate what you're doing for the name of the towing reputation.

He shows that he actually cares more about his viewers than he does about making a profit, which is very rare for "content creators" these days.
I watch off road rescuers, I watch fishermen, I watch builders, I watch scientists but the common denominator is that all the youtubers I follow are as far as I can tell, decent people who help when they can. I’ve learned to hang on a while with people that do this to me because more times than not I wind up liking and respecting them more in the end. I almost skipped the video when I saw how long it was going to be. But, I had enough time, and I dove in. It was worth every minute of it. I learned a lot, enjoyed the scenery, and was further impressed with Casey's honest character.

A couple years back I got croans and ulceritis colitis. Plus 30 new ailments that wanted to be known. From arthritis to dain bramage, I suffer so much pain. It was eye opening to see you with the same kind of personal poop pouch I had to wear. I have had the reversable surgery with a new small colon. My Father had the same surgery but passed away with multiple cancer zones. Thought I was headed for the same outcome. Seeing you swim in the lake with it on? Amazed me with new hope. At 64, I didn't think I could be amazed again. From just west of the St. Louis Arch I say THANK YOU! Thank you so much for that! If I ever get to Oregon, I would like to work for you. Have had a CDL for decades, but it's only a class A now. I get to drive for fun. Your personal First Aid kit might resemble mine!
I watch your videos all the time and just noticed I wasn’t subscribed to your channel. Fixed it. We all love what you do and anyone who doesn’t hasn’t seen your videos. I also appreciate that as you’ve become more popular and successful on the tube that you have remained true to your beliefs about being honest and upfront about sponsors and the money aspect of it. FWIW, I found you via the algorithm suggestions after I subscribed to Matt's channel, and was amazed that (a) someone is doing this fairly close to where I live and (b) you are doing it essentially for free to those who need it. Hey Casey - Great overview of all the ways channels earn revenue! I also hate the term "influencer", and I have also turned down every attempt from advertisers / companies to try to get me to feature products in exchange for cash. Everything you see on my channel is stuff I bought with my own money, and I use it because it's a good product. As you mentioned, every channel is completely different, and for me, TH-cam is still just a fun hobby and creative outlet. Maybe someday it'll be my full-time gig, but for now, I'm just thrilled with how many people I've been able to help through my videos. Earning some ad revenue along the way has been super cool, but is not and hopefully will never be the main motivation for my channel's existence. Keep up the great work!

I got directed to your channel from seeing you on Matt’s Offroad, and I have actually met you in person a few times. Since moving to Oregon from Utah a year ago, you channel has also helped me find out about places around Oregon to explore. I’d love to explore with you some day, I’m in the Portland area. Also, I’d love to help on a recovery sometime too, especially if it was around the Portland area. I have 18 years of Search and Rescue experience too. Anyways, all that rambling aside, I thought this was a very interesting video, and I think it’s very cool that you do it out of the desire to help people. I understand that as all my search and rescue time was volunteer, but where I didn’t get paid in money, I made up for in experiences and gaining skill sets that helped me advance in other areas of live. I'm right there with ya Casey. I drove tanker for 30+ years in Seattle and LA. After dealing with psychotic drivers in four wheelers all I wanted to do is get as far away from the city as I could. I ended up buying 100 acres with a cabin in rural Washington. Same kind of scenery here as in Oregon. I feel more at peace away from civilization. Have you tried lowering the volume to nothing until the ads are over? Sometimes I do that while I get some water out of the refrigerator. Then I turn the volume back up for the video.

Honesty. Simple honesty. What a relief to know at least one person is doing things for a win, win, win result. All my school bus mechanics, most of which off road, will hear about your channel. They'll tell their buddies. And when they drive through Bend, they'll know the have a friend if they need one. Referrals, that's how you succeed. "I don't want your money. I want your business.".

I think everyone appreciates the candor that you give in your videos, especially this one. I was also thinking that you don't really need to apologize for commenting on other channels. The comments are straightforward and I didn't think there was any malice behind the comments. You shouldn't have to apologize for honest opinions. I also am glad to hear that subscriptions don't matter as much. I came to know of your channel through MORR, and it has grown on me. In fact, I really like that you love being in the outdoors like I do, so that's a big draw to me. Well, let's see what I have learned from/about Casey Ladelle. ( I have been following you about 1 year.) 1) You have an ostomy bag. I have a co-worker that has one. I knew a bit about that. When you dove into the water I IMMEDIATELY thought about your bag. I should have known it was good because you don't let that stop you. 2) You are a good fabricator, welder, etc. I think maybe people took what you said about Paul the wrong way. You made the statement that just because someone is on "TH-cam" doesn't make them an expert and people took that to mean you were talking about Paul when, in fact, you weren't. 3) It may have taken you 59 minutes to explain everything, but in the end, it isn't the money that is important; a person rarely meets someone with your character. That concept of being nervous makes a lot of sense to me now. The dirt road next to me goes a couple miles back into the woods. All those people who built houses out there to be in the woods go up and down that road all day long, some of them 5 times at least. Always going to town after a cup of coffee, or to get their mail, or for groceries, and then who knows the other couple times. 😂

One of my brothers has suffered with ulcerated colitis for several years and has had to have a bag. He's currently waiting to have a big op so he doesn't have to have the bag anymore.
Just stuck an F250 and a 34 foot travel trailer in the mud, 225 feet from the road. I never expected not to pay for that recovery, but really appreciate that you are out there helping folks stay safe and get on their way for free. Also, as a Crohn's patient, really appreciate your honesty and resiliency.

If ya ever wanted to see a tow operator/recovery man with integrity, honesty and respect...this man is all that and more. Casey, you're a classy upstanding gentleman and that's what drew my subscription to your channel. Just enjoyable to watch with no bullshit and a heart as big as gold when recovering people form the mountains AND working hard to keep the recreational areas around you clean, you care and care big. Also the lovely family, doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know you love your wife and daughter deeply. Hell you've also shown a great repair shop in Elite Fleet, I've said it before I'll say it again that if I'm in the area and my car breaks or needs service...they'll get that work no questions asked. And finally, the views of Oregon you share...don't ever stop that!

Yeah the 100k subscribers is definitely cool, but the audience of over one million individual people in a single month is absolutely amazing!
A lot of people dot realize that subscriber count means absolutely nothing once you get the minimum needed to get monetized. Yet they still telol viewers to subscribe, even runnier when a channel with 1+ million subs does so. On my channel I never remind or tell people to sub or like, I kinda figure they know the routine by now.

A couple years back I got croans and ulceritis colitis. Plus 30 new ailments that wanted to be known. From arthritis to dain bramage, I suffer so much pain. It was eye opening to see you with the same kind of personal poop pouch I had to wear. I have had the reversable surgery with a new small colon. My Father had the same surgery but passed away with multiple cancer zones. Thought I was headed for the same outcome. Seeing you swim in the lake with it on? Amazed me with new hope. At 64, I didn't think I could be amazed again. From just west of the St. Louis Arch I say THANK YOU! Thank you so much for that! If I ever get to Oregon, I would like to work for you. Have had a CDL for decades, but it's only a class A now. I get to drive for fun. Your personal First Aid kit might resemble mine!

Hey Casey - Great overview of all the ways channels earn revenue! I also hate the term "influencer", and I have also turned down every attempt from advertisers / companies to try to get me to feature products in exchange for cash. Everything you see on my channel is stuff I bought with my own money, and I use it because it's a good product. As you mentioned, every channel is completely different, and for me, TH-cam is still just a fun hobby and creative outlet. Maybe someday it'll be my full-time gig, but for now, I'm just thrilled with how many people I've been able to help through my videos. Earning some ad revenue along the way has been super cool, but is not and hopefully will never be the main motivation for my channel's existence. Keep up the great work!

I got directed to your channel from seeing you on Matt’s Offroad, and I have actually met you in person a few times. Since moving to Oregon from Utah a year ago, you channel has also helped me find out about places around Oregon to explore. I’d love to explore with you some day, I’m in the Portland area. Also, I’d love to help on a recovery sometime too, especially if it was around the Portland area. I have 18 years of Search and Rescue experience too. Anyways, all that rambling aside, I thought this was a very interesting video, and I think it’s very cool that you do it out of the desire to help people. I understand that as all my search and rescue time was volunteer, but where I didn’t get paid in money, I made up for in experiences and gaining skill sets that helped me advance in other areas of live. Have you tried lowering the volume to nothing until the ads are over? Sometimes I do that while I get some water out of the refrigerator. Then I turn the volume back up for the video.

Well, let's see what I have learned from/about Casey Ladelle. ( I have been following you about 1 year.) 1) You have an ostomy bag. I have a co-worker that has one. I knew a bit about that. When you dove into the water I IMMEDIATELY thought about your bag. I should have known it was good because you don't let that stop you. 2) You are a good fabricator, welder, etc. I think maybe people took what you said about Paul the wrong way. You made the statement that just because someone is on "TH-cam" doesn't make them an expert and people took that to mean you were talking about Paul when, in fact, you weren't. 3) It may have taken you 59 minutes to explain everything, but in the end, it isn't the money that is important; a person rarely meets someone with your character. That concept of being nervous makes a lot of sense to me now. The dirt road next to me goes a couple miles back into the woods. All those people who built houses out there to be in the woods go up and down that road all day long, some of them 5 times at least. Always going to town after a cup of coffee, or to get their mail, or for groceries, and then who knows the other couple times. 😂
