They may tell you that Israelis were there 2000 years ago, but the Israelis and Jews now have no ethnic ties to those people who lived 2000 years ago. They may say its the promised land, but thats based not on rationality but on emotions. THe Palestinians have lived there for atleast 1000+ years, with TIES to those people who have lived before them. Also, Jews in Palestine, back in 1940's when the partition was proposed, were the vast minority, with 30 percent being jews, but most of them had just recently came to europe. Also, the countrys who voted for it to be in favour of it existing were countrys that were former colonial countrys, and isreal is a settler colonial country, so of course they would vote for it. They may tell you that Israelis were there 2000 years ago, but the Israelis and Jews now have no ethnic ties to those people who lived 2000 years ago. They may say its the promised land, but thats based not on rationality but on emotions. THe Palestinians have lived there for atleast 1000+ years, with TIES to those people who have lived before them. Also, Jews in Palestine, back in 1940's when the partition was proposed, were the vast minority, with 30 percent being jews, but most of them had just recently came to europe. Also, the countrys who voted for it to be in favour of it existing were countrys that were former colonial countrys, and isreal is a settler colonial country, so of course they would vote for it. Had they voted when they had decolonized all their countrys, palestine for sure would have been voted over israel. Shalam brother.
