For example, no one is going to react to Eight Crazy Nights on a non Christmas season, although is anyone really going to watch Eight Crazy Nights. Much more understandable to timeless films like Hotel Transylvania, a movie most reactors haven't seen before because they were adults when it was marketed for children and they were most likely not prominent reactors at the time so why would they.

Adam Sandler is so good at making children and family films! This is one of my favorites of his....also yes, a lot of recognizable voices in the cast that you might recognize from other Sandler films lol
I give a lot of credit to the director, Genndy Tartakovsky. The guy behind Primal, The Clone Wars (2003, not the cg one), Samurai Jack, Dexter's Lab, etc.
That's one of the things I love most about the animation. They took the time to have every character move and walk differently, which you don't really see anymore.
This has been a Halloween staple since my kid was little. Funny how you mentioned Johnny has done so much in his short time, while the monsters really hadn't done anything. That's the thing about mortality. When you know you're going to die, there is no wasting time. Monsters are presumably immortal, so they have no urgency to accomplish anything.

"Zombies" were mindless servants made by Voodoo. Somewhere over the years though the word Zombie got used to mean undead.
It might have been Dawn of the Dead that started that. There's a bit where the bikers break into the mall and Peter says something to Steven about "a thousand zombies" being let loose
This is such a good move with a great cast I hope you guys continue this adventure of these films and me personally they get better my favourite one is number 3😁

I have a deep love for at least the first two of these films... very cute, good stories, great humor, and of course... oozing with Sandler charm. The rest are fine... just not quite the same. This movie trilogy is goofy and heart warming. It is a good way to get kids interested in the classic monsters that started it all. I love the family humor that every member can enjoy. They do not take everything so seriously and can enjoy themselves without worrying about peoples reactions. Adam Sandler gets a lot of grief because he does a lot of the same childish humor in like every performance. He is very much for children to teen films. This one in particular is definitely more of a family oriented film. The kids can enjoy it and the parents can enjoy some of the jokes too. I do not believe this is a bad thing. He knows his craft and what suits him well. He can entertain a vast audience. Nobody can please everybody all the time. It is not worth trying. His childish humor can get old sure but people do not have to watch him all the time. I wouldn't put him in a more serious toned film or something. I also wouldn't give him the best comedian ever award. He has his good moments. I liked the films where Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider work together. They are comedy gold together.
