I cant play because i think my easy anti cheat dont fking work, please help, is no information about this and i cant play... Because i get random quicked and in a high pop server is a fking torture team. Can someone help me Please? I sended help on favepunch oficial and i keep having issues

you should swap the minigun with the anticheat, better anticheat is way more hype than a minigun :D
The only working anticheat is an active mod reacting to reports of cheaters in-game, watching the player, and then manually banning them, while continually watching for them to re-appear on the server and ban them until they stop coming back.
Maybe start paying people to actively fight cheaters instead of throwing a few dollars at a problem that cannot be inherently fixed without human intervention.

This electrical component changes is a game changer, so much power will be saved. I will be able to make elaborate circuits with the logic switches.
I agree. I'm not a big user of electricity mainly because my brain just cannot learn it but I think this opens up the possibility for a lot more creativity and logic systems.
You can make a full though simple CPU core that acts like the first CPUs :P
@larsl1241 EE major? I started out in EE but I found it hard and ended up transferring to CS.
@@R_5_D It's actually fairly simple in concept. Take a power source (battery or powerplant) and connect it with your device. All the in-between bit is for combining, splitting and diverting. I haven't learned all about the components yet (and I'm also taking a break from Rust anyway), but I've been able to make a offline base with it. Not that it worked, as in defending it, but I can keep taps on it while I'm away xD
Hope they add better maps with better mountains/rivers etc soon.. I remember it being worked on but we don't see updates about this. Could really use more map variety.
Yes. Bigger maps with more variety and even different biomes would be great.
@@paradigm010 he's referring to the new biome and proc gen algorithm rework. It's a large project, don't expect much until later in the year

I mean, the Bradley is an armored PERSONNEL CARRIER, not a straight up tank so it seems reasonable that scientists would pop out especially considering the radioactivity of launch site making people require protection like how the scientists have.
So, the minigun theoretically can be used for auto-turrets? Interesting.
It’s gotta charge up so it won’t be good for little roof peaks
Guns with high one shot damage are best for turrets otherwise automatic weapons get a damage nerf
if it needs the backpack for ammo then no and wont work in attack heli either

Doubling down on anti-cheat is so needed. Cheaters have had a feast in this game for a long time, and even if they get banned by the end of the wipe they've ruined it for the rest of us in the process...

Yeah I don't think anyone is holding their breath on this one. It's likely just a mention to make it seem like they care.
Can't hurt that revenue stream. need those cheaters rebuying accounts to keep funding the game development.

@@xarius1 Unfortunately, anti-cheats are far behind cheat writers. They practically have no way to deal with DMA boards. Even Vanguard, which claims to be the best anti-cheat and has cost Riot Games tens of millions of dollars, is not capable of detecting DMA boards.
Today is still a good day for us, soon a mixture of AI will also emerge.
@@nxfarhang There is an AI anti cheat that exists, works with a 97% success rate and they are having trouble finding partners in the industry because the game companies don't want to invest.
and this AI can easily detect DMA boards.
There's no incentive for the game companies to fix the problem. they already have our money.
cargo needs to get bigger in my opinion, imagine 4 floors and about twice the size
than this update would make way more sense

Heavy set with minigun will go hard on servers
I wonder if the minigun will need to use a backpack slot to shoot/equip it.
Would be a fair trade off if it is too overpowered.
Finally a good way to counter cargo!
I'm still waiting for those highwall placements. Still it's so annoying that you can't place highwalls when the terrain has some weirder angle... :))
realistically miniguns WOULD be insanely accurate, fast, damaging and nearly zero if any at all recoil, just VERY heavy (so it would probably slow you down) and would require a backpack for actual usability, and probably be unreasonably rare and expensive to balance it

It’d be great when chinook comes out it would carry bradly with it so it would drop it off at launch site so it adds some more realism to the game

I want to see natural disaters and hurricanes, earthquakes. Also saw a suggestion to rework progression to force players to explore the map

Props to rust man, still doing killer updates even to this date they are amazing keeping this game alive and providing longevity. More so than any game or even franchise we’ve seen and they don’t make you buy map packs or dlc’s to enjoy the updates. The people’s champ!

OMG this is exactly what the game needs! I can see Cargo 'coming alive' with primitive combat. Even with a large backpack you won't have enough bullets. Inspired by these ideas I would like to propose the LST (spawns at Ferry Terminal) and the C130 (spawns at Airfield), each of which can convey your entire clan of 300 anywhere on the map. Also the Thor - with a computer station and 10,000 HQM you can lay waste to everything on the map.
Glad they made cargo more counterable to be honest. So hard to board as a solo even if there is only one onboard

Yes, but I hope we're able to snap and still bring items as close as we';re able to now so we don't waste wall space. Don't want to have to free place and give up snapping for it.
Dude the anticheat has been needing an upgrade so bad for a while now... It's a shame they let it run unchecked long enough to kill off most of the playerbase.

I think the minigun is just an april fools joke when I first saw it suggested.
It looks entirely like it's a prebought asset dropped in just for a joke.
It was modelled in-house about 4 years ago, long term project.

Just need another gunplay rework and better sounds the current ones are meh. I’m fine with not going back to old recoil if they fix the rng and remove aim cone limits
If they added a system the same as the old one but with completely new patterns that'd be fine, but removing aim cone and the rng defeats the whole purpose of killing old recoil to begin with
I'm not so into the minigun at the moment, but the other changes seem really resourceful for the update!
TC skin should be rust + compatible, so we can see how much upkeep we have on our phones.

by the way it was worded im not hopeful at all. the "info leak" part seems like it's just patching a sinking ship with duct tape, to me it sounds like it will only fix older cheats that have already been detected... especially since he added that the anticheat team "will be in-game dealing with cheaters directly based on player reports".
Essentially it sounds like just more server admins type Devs are being added, which does nothing to detect cheaters BEFORE they have an impact. Even the last part "some staff with SOON be dedicated to full time anti cheat measures." is kinda bleak. Like how is there not already a dedicated anticheat team??

100 new features and you’ll still need to respawn if you dismount from a double horse stall indoors. The horse mechanics were not this bad 2 years ago.
Every new update the games becomes more and more clan/big group-friendly. I don't mind the minigun, but defending cargo as a solo was possible, even against big-ish groups, but now there's no chance u can look at 20 posibilities at the same time

this cargo rework was so needed. Could never get on it unless i checked map every 2 minutes to catch it coming in. However I do not know about mini guns in this game...

Having to ait there and eat plants to get more seeds is so great for health... Not so much on time.
Usefull for those servers were you cant find those oh so great plants for teas and health boosts..

I remember I was an admin on Call of Duty 4 servers. There was an option on PunkBuster to take players' PC screenshots. Why doesn't the anti-cheat offer that on Rust so admins can check players' screens?
Reducing cheating should be the top priority, its out of hand now. Also bring back the tech tree so players don't sit at one monument the entire wipe and there's an actual economy. :p
Idea for the Bradley scientists. Make them nightvisions scientists like in missle silo but remove all the bad guns from Bradley crates.
I still want the ability to place garage doors horizontally inside floor frames, preferably when 2 are placed together you can land a heli inside or have the elevator pop up
That would add some real functionality to elevators and would open up a whole range of interesting new buildings if heli's can be landed inside the base vertically

instead of giving player the minigun, i think applying it to the top of car like the humvee is better or an event where caravan convoy that have minigun on top that roam the map.
Oh, that TC skin is so good! I hope it has the same footprint as the normal one so it can still be placed on a 1x1 floor with 3 large boxes.

I think players should be able to go fully prone.. I've always thought this, but perhaps this would be even more important to do before giving players access to a portable minigun..... omfg.
