Probably we’re getting attacked by heli while going to oil so they jumped in water to not die then when they came back up it was stuck

accident mostly usually when heil tag u wanna dive to the bottom so it could go to someone else. but a bug occurs instead

Rockets wont hit at all if it keeps moving in circles and the machine gun will barely hit, might aswell add some sofas on the back to get healed while taking it
@@Private.Willie.Stroker Even better with the trains. At medium speed heli cannot rocket and since it moves at almost the exact speed of the train at med speed its VERY ez to hit.
Gonna be patched pretty quick I bet! Given that this was just now discovered probably a bug with the new water, not necessarily heli itself.
100% is just the new code of water hitting the ancient code that is heli. Easy fix tbh just make heli never fly below a set hight

I did it on accident with my friend, we were waiting the crate at rig with our tug boat, and heli spawned on us so we started to take it down, them we both died but when we respawned the heli was standing still in the water close to rig so we took it down
heli should deal some damage when exploding
nothing like scouring the seas floor for 1 hour looking for crates XD

Im probably never gonna use this method but I did just now learn that catching it on fire by hurting one of it's 2 weakspots cuts it's hp down by 5000 so I dont have to waste time taking out it's back router.

How did you go from buying a full diving set to the speargun? Thing just appeared in your inventory...
I don't play rust, but I would say that with a diving set it is easy to get enough scraps to buy the spear gun in a short time, this is also true for the boat. Farming the ocean seems to be really rewarding, at least as I get it seeing rust videos, Reksmore only omitted that part in the video as a player can figure it out by himself.

wait since when? last time i wittnessed a heli under the sealevel it was very well working and aggroing D: that was about 3 years ago though...
@h4n5i i dont know the exact date but i remember being an admin on a server and spawning in the heli and going under the map to avoid it and it getting "stuck" on water. This was also like 1 or 2 years ago

I did this with one of my friends while on a tug boat because we got bored and heli managed to get stuck.

@@Reksmore you able to do this strat with a gun without it breaking? i play a modded server with heli teirs and it would make it alot easier xd, the helis there have up to 10M hp and 90 damage a bullet to full heavy metal so if it works with a gun it would make for easy taking
Yes just avoid going too high (standing on the top of a tugboat) or it might get mad and fly again. You can 100% shoot it while frozen tho. Don't even need to climb on it

That looks like a pretty cool idea, but yeah I gotta agree they're probably gonna patch that pretty quick if they ever see this vid. HOWEVER, there is another trick you can do with heli that they CAN'T patch and can potentially net you even more loot, AND get rid of clan bases a lot of the time (especially early in the wipe). It's not taking heli itself OUT, but rather using it as your own personal attack dog. Just get a weapon with some range on it (a horse or car can help too), run towards that annoying clan's base when it looks like the chopper's gonna come close to it, then tag it and run around their base while the helicopter's shooting missiles at you. Stay ahead of their fire and watch the helicopter foundation wipe their whole base.😅 I saw a solo do this once to a clan that had been harassing him for hours and laughed my arse off when I figured out what he was doing.
It does not shoot real rockets unless you have tc. So it only shoot inc rockets if u do that

Heli doesnt shoot real rockets nor player based incin rockets, but there is also another mechanic when heli targets a player that is around another players base structure that makes this not work

Pity that information was not mentioned in this video, but heli ALWAYS starts by flying to a harbor, so usually you got ONLY 2 SPOTS on the whole map, where you can just camp when heli event is about to start ;) like to highlight it :)
All you need is 95 scrap for diving set: immediately pulls up with speargun

patch is simple. make 50 helis fly from different dirrections and instead of that useless minigun they shoot with they should add missiles

How do you see where heli comes in from ?
If there's no alerts for it on the server you can see really far outside bounds on rust plus easily. So when the heli comes just scroll around quickly its an easy spot

Rust plus can see it sooner easier. Can just skip a jackhammer and use 2 machetes to take heli
