the front seats fold back flat aswell, the whole thing turns into a flatish surface. People throw a blow up mattress on that which makes it flat for sleeping.
STATE OF BLITZ Its true for me as well. I usually like cars that drive smooth but still a bit sporty (ford focus, MX-5 (ok maybe this one is more sporty than smooth...), Audi A3 to name a few) but I still love the looks and the concept of the Jimny.
Brake LSD is not a true limited slip differential. Come on Suzuki, a true locker would make this unstoppable for very little cost. Also, bring this to Canada.
I had a manual Jeep with a brake LSD, and when in rear wheel drive, it would sometimes apply the brake so rashly on a gentle takeoff that it would stall the car. I agree, for a proper off reader, there nothing like a locker, and YES BRING IT TO CANADA!
Here in Germany the dealers have the order from SUZUKI to sign no further / new contracts or orders because SUZUKI don´t know any range of delivery time. So many orders that they can´t handle it at the moment!!! And.....Jenny is soooooo sweeeeet !!! ;-)
This car is beautiful. I love it, but ultimately I had to go with the Swift. I wish Suzuki made a on-road version that was more practical and luxurious and I would have bought it. As I have no need for an off roader but I love it's looks so much
Yes, you remove the headrests from the rear seats and they will be flat, then another advantage is that the front passenger seat can be reclined to be flat at the same level as the rear ones, hence can be used as a bed, flat all the way from front to rear
Two things the Jimny needs: 1. Suzuki uses 1.0 and 1.4 turbocharged engines in the Vitara and S- Cross,why not using those here instead of this weak 1.5L ??? 2. Suzuki should build it also with 4 doors as a "baby Wrangler" competitor. It would be a best seller for sure.
What a cool little SUV. Alot like the old samurai. Wish they had them here in Canada. A slightly peppier engine would be nice. Either a turbo version or a small diesel would be phenomenal.
If it were available in Canada and had a removable roof, I'd buy one for my kid when she's old enough to drive like my parents did for me. They got me a Suzuki Sidekick variant, the Asuna Sunrunner, for my first car. Wanted a Talon/Eclipse but I grew to love that little 4x4 as it was fun, cheap (to run), reliable and drivable anywhere.
Suzuki makes a damn good simple car. My dad was a service manager at a Chevy dealer for decades. He said they sold those Trackers day in and day out and never saw them again. They were so reliable all they needed were oil changes. I still have my 1990 Trooper for the same reasons. It just works and it's so simple. Never have to worry about doing something to hurt it. I do however haul the wife, kids and trailer around in a Toyota Sequoia. 😁
So what you were saying is the Jimny allows your prospective to shine thru, rugged yet sophisticated with a dress sense more adapted to rougher terrain - hence the shorts that show your legs to the maximum. Yes Jenny you get my vote for a typical Australian Sheila.

Here in Indonesia, Suzuki just announced Jimny's price of around 330 million rupiahs for two tone color A/T version or around AUD 33.000. It's much more expensive than in other countries due to weird domestic tax regulation of 4x4 cars.

I have a 2012 automatic, not bad off road, is Not for folks who are over 6 feet. Easy to change spark plugs, coil. Problem I had airconditioner went the first year, and steering wheel box. which was expensive. I reside in Panama City Panama. Parts are only available thru the dealer. and sometimes I have to wait close to two month to get parts. So please consider your area as parts is concern.
may i ask how is it in floods? the car can handle broken roads, a shallow lake and off road, but what about high floods? is their a height limit like below the car door? forgive me if this may seem odd or stupid question. i am not very knowledgeable with cars.
Not sure if you ment Auto is the only one it comes in or if you implied the trim, i demoed the Manual in Melbourne the day they landed and loved it! never got to compare to the auto version tho.
Review about jenny: The first impression from my view is "she is so beautiful".High performance If you look at the height of her "she look very tall. Her face cut seems to be a mix of Japanese ,Chinese ,Indians and south american(Really a big time mix in her gene😉). Her hair look soft. Her face cut seems to be lengthier,more sharp edges and more Aerodynamic. Eyes are high performance matrix light kind of attractive finish. Lips No comments. And her two ..........Hands so lengthier and athletic No comments No comments Specially Her long leg are highly tractional,Muscular,eyecatching and I really love the way her parents designed her legs. Conclusion:She is beautiful,luxurious one and if she is affordable I'll surely wont miss her.

How about bringing the extended 5 door version to Australia. Would also recommend this have either the current 1.5 Ltr with turbocharged motor or increase to 1.8 Ltr motor in the 5 door.
LoL Jenny flipped the left seat with the foot lever! If you want to flip the seat the easy way, for the hands, is to pull the lever used for reclining the back of the seat.

A cheap no frills 4x4 has a lot of appeal to me so long as it proves reliable. Shame it won't be available in the US.
