It snapped right off the part where the previous red dye was. In my opinion those parts were previously bleached, dyed red and dyed dark brown which makes it super compromised and re-bleaching those parts made the hair break off + the stress from the hair tie but the hair tie may have had a lesser effect.
I agree, the tight hair tie was too much stress on hair that was already jelly. Chemical hair cut. The same thing happens when bleach blonde hair is tied up wet over and over and the hair tie cuts through the hair.

Definitely! That’d be awesome. I bleached my own long hair for the first time this past summer. I was super nervous about it but by watching all the fail videos and his tips, I ended up doing a really good job lol. Learning what not to do plus following the instructions on my bleach packaging, was actually very helpful for me. lol
Your "Hello beautiful" has made my life so much better. Watching your videos got me through my mastectomy, healing and implants because of my very high risk for breast cancer. It was so nice to hear those words. I was only forty and felt I had lost all my femininity. You gave me strength and made me feel beautiful again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your femininity is always a part of you! It’s not attached to anything and cannot be taken away even though it might feel like that in the moment 💕 you are so strong for going through such a scary operation sending love and great recovery
I have literally had the worst day of my life never felt like giving up more so then now your video had cheered me up and stopped me for thinkinking for 18 mins thank you brad
We all have those days ❤. You are resilient and will overcome. Taking some time out is good. Get out and have a walk, appreciate the sky and nature around you. Have a warm shower and get some rest. Don’t give up because you are worth fighting for. BELIEVE 💪
Hey, it might not be much coming from a complete stranger on the internet but I am proud you're hanging in there! It takes a lot to do what you did, don't you forget that. This day too will pass and I hope you can find peace with it and move forward. Sending you strength & good thoughts 💖
Sending you some positive vibes! Think about all the good things in your life. What do you have to be thankful for? What do you appreciate? What makes you happy? Take a break from the stressors and focus on the positives😊
Aw poor girl. The tension of the rubber bands plus the lightener made her hair snap. She should have done a Malibu CPR first to get some of that black box color out.
About the first video... If I'm not mistaken, she's using a "toner" from the brand Fanola. Their products are extremely powerful and are able to make your hair go from piss yellow to polar blonde or even grey in under 5 minutes so I'm not surprised about that. Whenever I bleach my hair, I use their anti-yellow foam and it really does wonders !
I use Fanola purple shampoo and basically you have to wash it out as soon as you’re done lathering. Shit will dye your hands, walls, and life purple immediately.
I got into a huge fallout over the holiday with my family and the first step in my healing will be watching this lovely Bleach fail. Your timing is perfect brad. 😊❤️
I love how brad has been picking fights with us about not saying anything about his hair and blaming us for it when he regrets it later 😂😂😂😂 we love you brad! And we can’t help it that you slay every hairstyle!
True Bleach fails are so much harder to find now days with the plethora of tutorials, horror stories, and free education online. But we were blessed today
Also dying that she covered her mixed bleach and thought it wouldn't process in the bowl when she just left it there for 1.5 hours. Bleach doesn't wait to start reacting when it touches the hair 😂
Brad I know you probably have days where you're so tired and don't feel like making videos for us but I want you to know that I, and I'm sure many others truly appreciate how wonderful you are. Sometimes in our lives we just need a good laugh or something positive to watch and you're always there❤️ thank you 💕
Yeah, but not to saturate the rubber bands in bleach. If hair is clumped together with bleach on, it'll melt. She had bleach on the bands and a foil for an hour and a half. He warns us to not even put it in a bun because it'll heat faster
Seriously , Brad is my new favorite stylist IDOL!! I am a hairstylist also and love to hear him give them the business. Don't ever change, you are perfect! Perfectly entertaining, and love your honesty at all angels, good or bad!
@@fedegerman1690 well technically I wasn't referring to his fashion, however he is on 🔥, I doubt he had time to watch the fear porn news to hear the latest scandal, I definitely don't. I was really referring to his personality and how smart he is when it comes to hair. Being a hairstylist for 20yrs, I know a smart one when I see one, plus he makes me gut roll laugh in every video.
I was really surprised but happy both of them got better results at the end. How that last girls hair went from orange to pink was shocking. Never saw that before.
it's not even that strange.. 😅 she said at the beginning that she used several different box dyes, which results in different permanent colors being layered on top of each other. she had needed to use color b4 or smth first before she bleached to lift out as much pigment as possible
I would love to have you do a video explaining the chemistry behind what happens when you bleach your hair (for different hair textures and types) and the chemistry of coloring your hair (like why red never lasts).
Brad is a ken doll…wow love him love his reactions and how he calls people out for not doing what they know they should do! Lol love the warm brown tones on him - definitely a very subtle change from his icy blonde looks in the past.
Your personality just makes me feel better😂 you are a stress reliever❤️ I have postpartum depression and you seriously help ease some of the struggle I feel inside🥺 so thank you so so much.
I love how Brad has reacted to so many bleach fail videos and still feels the pain of people f*ing up their hair 😂 best videos, are bleach fail videos. Love you Brad!!
I know there’s absolutely no way she’s a hairdresser but whoever bought those salon professional products for her needs to be in JAIL for not just doing it for her!!!!
Right?? Like how do they accomplish dying it dark evenly but then screw up dying it with bleach so badly. I just don’t understand it. Like girl why are you bleaching your hair if you can’t get the back 🤦🏻♀️ use a mirror! I use a mirror just to do color. You can mush in bleach to the sections if you put enough on and don’t use a dry ass formula
You know, I always thought that too. And then I tried to dye my hair with a semi permanent coloured mask. And girrrrrl, it gets so fucking annoying, especially if you have a lot of hair, and when the patience runs out, the precision lessens. You're like 'Oh this'll do' and 'if i do thicker sections, it'll be fine and over more quickly'. And it ends up a mess. So I understand. That's why I'll bite the bullet and go to a salon, always. Buying all the supplies is so expensive for an uncertain result so like... not worth it for me.
I remember watching brad two years ago while my hair was completely bleach fried and short. Now my hair is all natural and past my shoulders 😭 you’ve taught me well brad
I still remember the very first bleach fail video of yours that I saw. I can remember the horror and joy it brought me. Love seeing these and the tips and tricks you share with us along the way. I'm confused about something in the second video. She did the first round of bleaching, which she said she left on for an hour and a half. Her hair was coming off. Granted it wasn't coming off in chunks like some of the others we have seen. But how was she able to get the final result that she got when her hair was (most likely) so compromised from the first round?
i am not one of these people but be careful wearing balenciaga now bradmondo!!!!! I would be super sad if someone tried to cancel you for standing balanciaga after their recent controversy!!!!! love youuuuuuuu thanks for the smiles.
I noticed that too. I thought he probably filmed this before all the drama. I bought one of their very expensive bags before everything, now I can’t wear it, and it is worth zip!
Just discovered you and I'm in LOVE. What a blessing you are to we pedestrian 'wannabe' DIY silly people. Thanks for your generous, brilliant yet humorous heart.
my first time coloring and bleaching my hair was at home, my mom did it and my hair wasn't lightening enough to put the color in. I was kinda scared my hair was gonna fall out because of how much bleach she put in my hair and she just kept adding more. but she was my mom and who was I to tell her how to do it. luckily she's a cosmetologist so it turned out amazing. (it was blue and purple then it faded into blonde and like a turquoise hombre, it was great and I really loved it)
I'm a girl, and my whole head of long hair is bright purple lol, not all girls want to be blonde. Love you Brad, I'm an apprentice at a hair salon because you inspired me, so thank you so much :)
I got my 18 inch hair from level 2 to level 10 in 5 weeks, box dye and all, completely even..put a mirror in front of you and behind you, take your time, and don’t tone (especially with T18) until your hair is at LEAST level 8-9! It’s not that crazy 😭😂
@@comfortablynumb7398 I noticed but what can you do? fall into the cancel culture? It is a huge marketing strategy theyre putting, risky, but it works apparently. People will continue buying from them, because its a brand that works off of scandal. (lets be honest, now and days people forget quickly whatever happens with someone. There are no values whatsoever. People keep worshipping empty people, "kardashians, celebrities etc" and brands solely because the "it" group does it.) Instead of attacking a random person for having a piece of a brand from who knows how many years ago, focus on the content of the video. (my opinion, makes me like less whoever supports these brands and whatever, but idont choose to make them feel less for making those decisions. up to them.)
My hair hit EVERY SINGLE stage possible in one go. Hot roots, red mid, and dark ends. This was at a cosmetology school and they still SOMEHOW got me to a teal/blue at the end of the day. It was beautiful. My hair had box dye and previous lightening done to it and they still did it. At first they didn’t think they could but the stylist said bet and got me to what I originally wanted after compromising to red. I was amazed and so happy
I think brad missed the part where the second girl said she left the bleach on for an hour and a half…..that’s why it fell out lol. Plus she’d done so much shit to her hair to begin with.
Oh Brad, there is such a huge difference between watching your videos & paying attention to what you tell us in your videos, and actually following what you tell us in your videos. I think I need Brad to do my hair, the only hairdresser that I would trust.
At this point, with loads of actually good tutorials including many from Brad that actually explain the science behind bleaching and what to NEVER do, it's shocking how little some people learn before bleaching their own hair. I mean, not caring about their hair that much cuz it grows back is one thing but ruining it with utter carelessness is not it people.
Lmmao I’m currently laughing so hard Brad being stressed watching the last young lady bleach her hair is hilarious. The cringing and screeching and just a tiny bit of much needed shade is EVERYTHING 😂😂❤
I must say that after years of watching your videos I finally bleached my hair with no dark spots! Followed your tutorials and it actually worked hahahaha thanks 🎉❤
Apparently I’m weird too Brad, because I even section my hair to straighten it. I cannot imagine taking a bowl of bleach to my hair unsectioned and randomly. I think it’s just that I prefer even results. I learned from you, Hair Buddha, and trial & error. I do 4 sections and then use a clip on the section I’m on, as I work on it.
if there's anything that bleaching my own hair has taught me, it's to be very generous with the bleach and if you think you got all the hair, you're wrong so go through it one more time. it takes forever even on shorter hair but it's worth not having to go back and fix all the patches that were missed.
Assuming this was filmed before the balenciaga scandal and the work that has gone into making the video I wouldn’t be holding anything against Brad for wearing the neckless at the time. The situation has been dived into deeper since this has been posted and going further I would be throwing all stuff to do with the brand out. Horrible people with to much power
Like. What is the first woman UP to?! what was she thinking?! The number of times I audibly gasped was wild. I haven't been this horrified since the girl was essentially bullied by her friends into burning all her hair off. Holy hell.
Brad: "I can't believe you let me go ginger. It really speaks volumes about you." Me: "I mean...are we talking 10 volume or 40 volume, Mondo? You know that makes a big difference!"
Brad, you make me laugh and I love how you are supportive and honest! I don't even really care about my hair, but still get good tips and enjoy your video's a lot 😂
Is that really a Balenciaga necklace? Today of all days? I honestly love you and your content, and I'm inclined to believe this was either recorded way long ago or you haven't caught up on the many controversial aspects of their latest advertorial photoshoot.
Brad, you are so fun to watch and I really enjoy your videos. I just gotta ask...are you unaware of the drama surrounding Balenciaga right now? Im hoping you are not in support of their recent campaign using extremely young children. Please look into it. 💖
Don't get this comment negative in any way. Because I love Brad so much! I couldn't read the necklace at first but then I did and I wish he hadn't wore a Balenciaga brand I don't know..
I love watching these failure videos, knowing that's probably gonna be me in few weeks. I'm gonna dye my hair at home, from orange to blue (yes, ik they're opposite colors and cancel each other out), I also have very dark brown roots (my natural color). So I have dark roots, once bleached orange mids and twice bleached and very damaged orange ends. Also the orange is actually red box dye, it just faded to orange and tbh I love it. Does this sound chaotic enough? No? Well I'm gonna use box dye. Yay.
@@erased_creature I had a transformation from orange to blue done at a salon 10 years ago.... and they turned it into a greenish-gray mess. So good luck to you doing it at home, it can´t be worse than my salon experience.^^
If you don't end up with some green in there I'll be surprised but good luck! ☺️ Had my share of hair fails too! 😂 I'd say consider a deeper, richer blue than paler? Anything close to pastel blue is unlikely cause you've likely got some staining from the red box dye & won't be able to lift it light enough 🖤
I bleached my roots with box dye this week... But my hair is 4 inches long, naturally a level 7, and I dye it hot pink, so it doesn't matter if it turns yellow at all. I loved being blonde but it's seriously way too much work!! I love how the pink makes all the problems disappear
This is why I'm stopped being a platinum blonde and went to my natural color with some highlights. I use the John Frieda go blonder to keep up with the color between sessions.

I would buy this and I don’t even have or want blonde hair 😂
That sounds totally awesome!
You ARE beautiful, doll!
Thank you! You are so kind. Big hugs!
🥰🥰🥰
We all have those days ❤. You are resilient and will overcome. Taking some time out is good. Get out and have a walk, appreciate the sky and nature around you. Have a warm shower and get some rest. Don’t give up because you are worth fighting for. BELIEVE 💪
I am sorry to hear that this has been the worst day of your life. Hang in there love. 💞
Watching Brad's videos makes you more beautiful. It is proven, because he always greets us all with "hello, beautiful"
I've used it before but my hair wad straw afterwards lmao
I think the first video would have looked better if she just cut her hair off ! Terrible 😱
I use Fanola purple shampoo and basically you have to wash it out as soon as you’re done lathering. Shit will dye your hands, walls, and life purple immediately.
@@jfolan2503 I think so too, a long bob would do her and her hair wonders
Fanola is amazing!! I use it often and the turn out is always great! Even their shampoos work wonders (:
I got into a huge fallout over the holiday with my family and the first step in my healing will be watching this lovely Bleach fail. Your timing is perfect brad. 😊❤️
Hugs!!!! Family isn't always fun and supportive....
Brads soul really left his body in this video
You okay, friend?
I'm so sensitive and yalls kindness is much appreciated 🥲❤️ I hope everyone is having a beautiful day. 💗
i hope you are having a better day :)
I love how brad has been picking fights with us about not saying anything about his hair and blaming us for it when he regrets it later 😂😂😂😂 we love you brad! And we can’t help it that you slay every hairstyle!
Do you love how Brad is okay with fuckin pedos?
Yeah but he’s promoting Balenciaga. Child groomer 🤮
Watching brad go crazy over mistakes people make with their hair is truly the highlight of my day
Brad I know you probably have days where you're so tired and don't feel like making videos for us but I want you to know that I, and I'm sure many others truly appreciate how wonderful you are. Sometimes in our lives we just need a good laugh or something positive to watch and you're always there❤️ thank you 💕
Omg she’s right! Brad *has* told us a million times to use rubber bands while bleaching and take HUGE chunks of hair!
/s
Yeah, but not to saturate the rubber bands in bleach. If hair is clumped together with bleach on, it'll melt. She had bleach on the bands and a foil for an hour and a half. He warns us to not even put it in a bun because it'll heat faster
Seriously , Brad is my new favorite stylist IDOL!! I am a hairstylist also and love to hear him give them the business. Don't ever change, you are perfect! Perfectly entertaining, and love your honesty at all angels, good or bad!
yeah but that Balenciaga necklace came in such a bad timing.....
@@katiedaley3554 he really is though, he’s been supporting humans diy-ing their hair for years and he’s a very good communicator!
He needs to change that necklace. Odd he wears that now...gross
@@fedegerman1690 why's it bad timing?
I was really surprised but happy both of them got better results at the end. How that last girls hair went from orange to pink was shocking. Never saw that before.
it's not even that strange.. 😅 she said at the beginning that she used several different box dyes, which results in different permanent colors being layered on top of each other. she had needed to use color b4 or smth first before she bleached to lift out as much pigment as possible
I don't know why I like watching hair disasters but your responses make them even better.
I would love to have you do a video explaining the chemistry behind what happens when you bleach your hair (for different hair textures and types) and the chemistry of coloring your hair (like why red never lasts).
Brad’s reactions throughout this video were hysterical. He was headed to a full-blown meltdown. I loved it!
Braddd this blouse youre wearing is sooooo beautiful on you, only you can make a “simple” white blouse look this good 🫶🏼😍
Brad is a ken doll…wow love him love his reactions and how he calls people out for not doing what they know they should do!
The hair breakage with those rubber bands in and the courage to dump more bleach on after that has me shook. I would have been rinsing in terror
Wtf! I was just desperately looking for a bleach fail I hadn't already seen! Perfect timing Brad ❤️🔥
its not normal how our fun consists of watching people ruin their hair so we don't have to 😂😂
@@marijamagdalena6359 So true 😆 I’m kind a ex-pro at it myself tho! But can’t get enough of watching others do it! 🤣❤️
I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time! Thank you Brad!!! I needed this!
I bleached my hair for the first time this year. You gave me the confidence and courage to do it. It came out amazing 🤩
I laughed out loud so many times. Brad was so extra in this, I loved it
Every time that Brad has to debunk people who say they followed his tutorial is so funnnyy omg
The way my jaw DROPPED when I saw her reapply to the white parts of her hair on the first one. MA’AM.
How did her hair not fall out… She obviously has industrial strength hair
@@heatherduke7703 lucky gal..
I know there’s absolutely no way she’s a hairdresser but whoever bought those salon professional products for her needs to be in JAIL for not just doing it for her!!!!
Time is money and if she wasn't paying them why would they?
I agree! Not ok that she has these products.
@@Ayveh then don't give her professional products!
The first one was me!! Hahaha I was cracking up the whole way through! Not sure if it’s embarrassing or exciting, but I’ll take it as an honor! 😂😂😂
I’ll never understand how someone can put bleach or dye on there head so unevenly. Its too blatantly obvious you need it even everywhere. 🤯
EXACTLY
Makes me wonder if they would paint a wall as uneven as they dye their hair, lol
@@komorebi3803 😂 I thought that too! X
Brad went from the friendly stylist with a humble grace to Simon Cowell of hair 😂
I remember watching brad two years ago while my hair was completely bleach fried and short. Now my hair is all natural and past my shoulders 😭 you’ve taught me well brad
There's definitely a part of me that wanted the "how to apply bleach!" book to link to a Brad video on how to bleach your hair
Love watching these but surely Brad knows the first girl went to a salon and got that weave fixed… lemon doesn’t give you shadow roots
Just posted a comment too. Honestly the bondage teddy bears for kids… disgusting
I’m assuming he filmed this before those disgusting photos dropped.
Kinda shocked too
Brad seems like a good guy. I doubt he would’ve done that on purpose right?
Not 1 but 2 controversies, the bondage teddies and that document on the desk 🤮
Noooooo not Brad repping Balenciaga right after and during all the drama 😭😭
that’s the first thing i noticed 😭
He probably recorded this before, good gosh
I noticed that too. I thought he probably filmed this before all the drama. I bought one of their very expensive bags before everything, now I can’t wear it, and it is worth zip!
@@truthbetold6942 why can't you wear it? you already bought it..🙄
@@Lailaa36 yeah representing child p is a good thing
Just discovered you and I'm in LOVE. What a blessing you are to we pedestrian 'wannabe' DIY silly people. Thanks for your generous, brilliant yet humorous heart.
i want brad to diagnose my hair, the way he explains things are awesome.
my first time coloring and bleaching my hair was at home, my mom did it and my hair wasn't lightening enough to put the color in.
Out of all the videos Brad does, the BLEACH FAIL vids are my favorite!! Brad please keep pumping these out, they never get old!!! 😁😁😁😁😁
This outfit!!! You’re an amazing hairstylist, but your style is underrated! 10/10
I got my 18 inch hair from level 2 to level 10 in 5 weeks, box dye and all, completely even..put a mirror in front of you and behind you, take your time, and don’t tone (especially with T18) until your hair is at LEAST level 8-9! It’s not that crazy 😭😂
Is anyone going to discuss the BALENCIAGA necklace Brad is wearing and promoting??
@@mariam.6497 I’m not reading all these groomer thoughts. Sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@comfortablynumb7398I assume the video was made and edited before the situation happened
Feel like I need to upload a bleach video just to make Brad happy. Sending your soul some healing vibes Brad ❤😂
I've done some stupid/questionable stuff to my hair in my time, but I literally laughed at loud at the 2nd girl and Brad's reaction 😂 🤣
“I have full trust in you and your advice.”
**does everything that Brad told us to never do**
My hair hit EVERY SINGLE stage possible in one go.
Just wanted to compliment your super nova leave in foam! It’s amazing that I bought 2 more bottles during the sale; well done Brad 🥰
For some reason I think this is the first time in all the videos of yours that I've watched I've noticed how dreamy the color of your eyes are
Honey. Today?? Balenciaga TODAY? 😬
... AND it looks like a bondage chain.
Yeeessss! Brad always delivers. Thanks for making this saturday evening fun and full of giggles ❤️❤️❤️

Yasss
Brad definitely went off his rockers in this episode and I get him
I must say that after years of watching your videos I finally bleached my hair with no dark spots! Followed your tutorials and it actually worked hahahaha thanks 🎉❤
I don’t think we’ve seen Brad this stressed in a while 😂
Apparently I’m weird too Brad, because I even section my hair to straighten it. I cannot imagine taking a bowl of bleach to my hair unsectioned and randomly.
I think it’s just that I prefer even results. I learned from you, Hair Buddha, and trial & error. I do 4 sections and then use a clip on the section I’m on, as I work on it.
if there's anything that bleaching my own hair has taught me, it's to be very generous with the bleach and if you think you got all the hair, you're wrong so go through it one more time. it takes forever even on shorter hair but it's worth not having to go back and fix all the patches that were missed.
whenever i feel sad about how much it costs me to get my hair balyaged professionally these videos remind me it is worth it 😂
You are literally out here single handedly educating the Internet on bleaching
Love the consistency Brad!
Love you ❤️
Not the Balenciaga necklace! Yikes. Might wanna blue that out
Assuming this was filmed before the balenciaga scandal and the work that has gone into making the video I wouldn’t be holding anything against Brad for wearing the neckless at the time. The situation has been dived into deeper since this has been posted and going further I would be throwing all stuff to do with the brand out. Horrible people with to much power
Agreed.
Time to google what balenciaga did 😅
I really hope going forward, Brad publicly makes a statement or at the very least, never wears anything from them again. Especially in a video.
I literally came to the comments to say the same thing.
Sadly, it seems he has been silent about the sickos at Balenciaga. 🤬
I just love Brad's reactions man!
Brad the ginger on you was FANTASTIC
Like. What is the first woman UP to?! what was she thinking?! The number of times I audibly gasped was wild. I haven't been this horrified since the girl was essentially bullied by her friends into burning all her hair off. Holy hell.
Hello GORGEOUS! I love when Brad reacts to bleach fails 🎉
Brad: "I can't believe you let me go ginger. It really speaks volumes about you."
Me: "I mean...are we talking 10 volume or 40 volume, Mondo? You know that makes a big difference!"
Brad, you make me laugh and I love how you are supportive and honest! I don't even really care about my hair, but still get good tips and enjoy your video's a lot 😂
Brad I love you and I know you love your Balenciaga but no honey please sell that necklace don't let their brand anywhere near yours! ❤️
That was also my first thought when I opened the video and saw his necklace 😬
Same thoughts. The brand is disgusting and to still support them makes me question if these people give a fuck about kids or not.
You’re being a drama queen. Let brad wear what ever he wants. He looks amazing in it
Of course, he's not supporting that. He probably just didn't hear or know about it.
Don't get this comment negative in any way. Because I love Brad so much! I couldn't read the necklace at first but then I did and I wish he hadn't wore a Balenciaga brand I don't know..
you know a bleach job is true chaos when it’s got brad sounding like donnie from the wild thornberrys 🤣 16:17
Brad, your hair looks nice. The style and color looks nice on you.
Yay.
Please do us all a favour and film ne process I pray for you 😂♥️
@@cheesyjanine1545 I'll think about filming it, but I won't promise anything :D
This sounds chaotic af but you're gonna nail it!! Good luck!
Whenever I need a self confidence booster, I watch Brad Mondo. He knows how to give compliments😩😭😭😭
I watch hair Buddha too. These men are the sweetest. Fantastic.
ur vids the only reason i’m excited for youtube anymore
