I've literally had my husband help with bleaching my hair from videos online, of course mainly Brad's! 😂 We've done it twice and I have very long hair! Came out perfect bc of paying attention to directions.
It's not lazyness, it's self sabotage. Doing your hair the right way is actually easier. I don't know who decided that wrecking your hair is "fun", you'll be stressing the whole week hating it and trying to solve it.

I have bleached my hair for years. Since I was 15. I am now 27. I have fried all my hair off more than once but now I know what I’m doing. Thanks to some fails, and LOTS of Brad mondo videos😂😂 First time my hair is 99% natural color since I was 15. And all because I had a baby. Now my hair is dirty dishwater blonde instead of my luxurious white white WHITE hair, and I’m loving it.
I did the same with my hair from roughly the same ages, lol. I messed my hair up soooo many times. I wish these videos existed when I was those ages as it could have probably saved my hair from some horrible results. I'm 40 now and maaaybe I'll try again one of these days. Last night I binge watched a bunch of butterfly cut videos, including the original tutorial, reaction videos, fails, and successes. My husband asked why I was watching them and was horrified when I told him I was going to cut my own hair 😂 This morning I followed Brad's tutorial and love it! My husband was very pleasantly surprised. IF you follow his directions, Brad's tutorials work!
I have no plans to ever bleach my hair at home but thanks to you I absolutely know START AT THE MIDS AND ENDS. ALLOW TO PROCESS TO A LIGHT YELLOW BEFORE APPLYING TO THE ROOTS. THE HEAT FROM YOUR SCALP WILL ENSURE YOUR ROOTS PROCESS QUICKLY 😅. It is common knowledge thanks to you 😂. I got addicted to your channel during lockdown and have learnt a lot. My main takeaway is that my lovely hairdresser is worth her weight in gold. I do not have the patience to do my own hair! ❤

Rosemary and onion cooked in Gravesend oil or olive oil. You can also boil some water with these herbs with some magnesium and spray on scalp and do scalp 💆♀️

Mine is a thinning disaster too. And the internet is full of misinformation. Watching people handle their hair so roughly is terrifying, mine would be gone if I even brushed it like some of these guys. Forget doing anything like bleaching or colouring.

Start from the back, grab thin layers of hair, Saturate it and do the roots when you see the hair has lightened. That is what I have learned from watching Brad so glad people in the Facebook comments recommended Brad to me when I bleached my hair for the first time. I watched so many videos before I attempted it.
I did just have a wee bleach fail - I’m just a little bit orange, but I was going from light ginger - and these have made me feel SO much better about my own goof. My hair is still on my head, which is a positive!

You don’t start at the roots because the roots always lift quickly also because the heat of your scalp. So its 1/2 inches away from the scalp leaving ends free.

When I was a hairstylist, I had so many clients that would apologize to me for cutting or coloring their own hair between appointments. I always told them it was their hair to do whatever they want with and that I’d never try take away their body autonomy in that way: hair is for fun!

I swear by that creme developer from first video 💜 it's for sensitive skin and it's the only developer I've ever found that doesn't make my head itch or burn. Always used to think it was the bleach powder but nope it was the developer I learned after tons of trial and error.
I agree,even though i use a different one. I use Blondeme. Its only twenty volume but it does a better job at bleaching without frying my hair . I will never use powder bleach or regular developer again.
I picked up one of your colors months ago, when your line first came to Sally's and can't say enough good things about it! I absolutely love it! It's extremely pigmented, it makes my hair silky soft, it lasts a long time and fades beautifully. That being said, I would love love love to see more of your products in Sally's. I ask the girls every time I go in there if they've received anymore of your products.

My husband learned to help me bleach my hair thanks to you. We’ve been doing full bleach outs to level 10-11 and then I have my gracious stylist do a smudge root and tone for $80. When/ if the regrowth is too intimidated for me she does the bleach and tone for the same price and it looks great. So I get perfect blonde for maybe $300/ year from a natural level 4.

Mine is a thinning disaster too. And the internet is full of misinformation. Watching people handle their hair so roughly is terrifying, mine would be gone if I even brushed it like some of these guys. Forget doing anything like bleaching or colouring.

Start from the back, grab thin layers of hair, Saturate it and do the roots when you see the hair has lightened. That is what I have learned from watching Brad so glad people in the Facebook comments recommended Brad to me when I bleached my hair for the first time. I watched so many videos before I attempted it.

You don’t start at the roots because the roots always lift quickly also because the heat of your scalp. So its 1/2 inches away from the scalp leaving ends free.

When I was a hairstylist, I had so many clients that would apologize to me for cutting or coloring their own hair between appointments. I always told them it was their hair to do whatever they want with and that I’d never try take away their body autonomy in that way: hair is for fun!

I swear by that creme developer from first video 💜 it's for sensitive skin and it's the only developer I've ever found that doesn't make my head itch or burn. Always used to think it was the bleach powder but nope it was the developer I learned after tons of trial and error.

I agree,even though i use a different one. I use Blondeme. Its only twenty volume but it does a better job at bleaching without frying my hair . I will never use powder bleach or regular developer again.

I picked up one of your colors months ago, when your line first came to Sally's and can't say enough good things about it! I absolutely love it! It's extremely pigmented, it makes my hair silky soft, it lasts a long time and fades beautifully. That being said, I would love love love to see more of your products in Sally's. My husband learned to help me bleach my hair thanks to you. We’ve been doing full bleach outs to level 10-11 and then I have my gracious stylist do a smudge root and tone for $80. When/ if the regrowth is too intimidated for me she does the bleach and tone for the same price and it looks great. So I get perfect blonde for maybe $300/ year from a natural level 4.

Yes Brad, every video I watch and there is bleaching involved you have always said to do roots last. The first thing is that the heat from our scalp turns it quickly, and most likely it's virgin hair. Is that right? Love you Brad ❤
The roots process faster than the rest of the head because of the heat of your scalp. I love watching hairdresser reacts.
Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion but the last girl’s result I actually quite like, it seems like a natural blonde colour that doesn’t look like “omg someone’s bleached their hair” but also that brown colour from the colour remover was very nice too
