I'm talking the entire crown broken pretty much to the scalp. It's only JUST gotten to the point where it will lay flat when I iron it. Watching these videos makes me feel better about my own awful experience!
I learned so much from Brad already but decided to go to a saloon to get my hair bleached because I knew there was no way I could do it better than a professional. It was actually very useful to know that everything was done correctly (he used foils, left the roots at the end, etc). So this is extremely helpful even if you are not attempting to do this at home
Ye watching Brads videos made me understand what hairdressers (at least the good and trained ones) do to my hair. Which I love! I love sitting there and realising "ah brad mondo said this! Nice!"
Brad's horror at the hair clumps is highly amusing to me as a sufferer of chronic telogen effluvium. I lose that much with every shower. Its been almost 5 years now of the extreme shedding.
I wish I knew how people with such long, beautiful hair can rip brushes through it like they're trying to get it to tell them government secrets, but no matter how gentle I am with my hair it refuses to grow past my chest.
Everyone has their natural stopping lengths. I know one girl whose hair doesn't grow past her chin. She has to get extensions. Mine, well, actually I thought it stopped at my waist. It grows super fast and in one year it would grow from my chin to my waist. But it's been a few years since I cut my hair and it's almost to my knees now.
Has it had any chemical treatments? Do you use any heat to style your hair? Do you have hard water in your house? When is the last time you had a trim? Maybe your split ends are so bad that you have to get a haircut to get some fresh ends in your hair. If your hair is supposed to naturally stop growing at your chin, then you would be able to look at your ends and see each individual hair gradually taper off to a point, and feel soft and not damaged. If the ends have breaks or lots of splits and feel very rough, you know that it's actually just damage.
I'm afraid it really is genetics. Everyone's hair follicles have a natural life span, and when the follicle has been around that length of time, it falls out naturally. This woman's follicles' lifespan is longer than most people's - I would say most people's hair won't grow longer than their chest, myself included. She also has relatively thick hair, so slightly more coming out with a rough brush isn't going to make a noticeable difference for her. You can get extensions if you want longer hair, but after a certain length, I don't think longer hair adds much to a person's look anyway.
When she started brushing her hair like that after it was dyed and it was all wet, I actually cried out loud "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!" like she could actually hear me. Why would someone do that?
I'm so gentle with my hair yet so much falls out every day still. Watching this girl brush her like that with fried hair hurts my scalp. It somehow feels itchy even though it's not mine
The way that first girl was brushing her hair-!! As a curly girl with hair that will snap in half if I so much as LOOK at a non-satin pillowcase, I literally cringed as she was going at her hair with that brush like that. XD
I literally just wanna be friends with Brad. He just seems like such a down to earth, hilarious and overall wonderful human being! We all need friends like Brad Mondo.
i did research on blonding kits prior to bleaching my hair as a setup for artificial coloring. the avg volume developer in these kits ranges from 20-25 volumes because they all assume you are leveling up natural blonde hair at the onset. so if you have dark hair of any kind under the natural blonde level you'll need to do several rounds of the box bleach kit. the exceptions are the brands that state the developer volume number. like Brad keeps saying it's cheaper to just buy the bleach and developer on its own for custom mixing to make sure you have enough product and the correct volume developer. if you're intimidated at mixing ratios go online and find conversions charts for ounces and tablespoons/teaspoons.
holy shite if I were to brush my thin and fine ass hair as aggressively as the first girl I'd have 2 hairs left on my head lmao. Brad's reaction perfectly mirrored my own lol
The weaponized incompetence of the boyfriend (?) with the last girl was actually ridiculous though. Like... it cannot just be me getting pissed off at him intentionally fucking things up RIGHT after she tells him exactly how to do it.
I bleached my hair platinum for 3 years, and even though I went to a hairdresser to have it done it still did lasting damage to my scalp. It's been 4 years since I last had any chemical process done or even heat styled my hair and it was still dry and breaking off. It wasn't until I started forking over the $ for professional hair products and really focused on my scalp health that I finally started noticing an improvement. I'm only saying this as a cautionary tale because yeah, it may only be hair, but bleach can burn the crap out of your scalp soooo easily and it's impossible to regrow hair through gross oozing scabs
Tbh that’s part of why I tend to not even do all over bleach applications often as a stylist just due to the damage it can cause to the skin alone regardless of skill glad to hear it’s getting better🩷
My mom is a hairdresser, and we love discussing your reaction videos. You are so much fun to watch, especially for someone who grew up in a salon! Wish you were going to be at America's Beauty Show in Chicago!
Oh my god the way that girl was brushing her hair!! And as soon as she started brushing it after bleaching, my heart started racing, I audibly gasped, and I had to put my hands over my face and pause this video to make this comment 😂
I did bleach my hair tell it fell out 😬 because I didn't know nothing about bleach back in 2014. Glad I found you on TH-cam Brad ive learned a lot from you one and only 🥰
Her original hair color was so pretty. A touch up at a salon would have cost less than a correction. People who spend $1000 on hair only to go home and dye it are scary.
As someone who’s hair is FINAAALLY grown out and back to full health after an awful bleach disaster; I’m watching these feeling my silky soft hair and reminding myself NEVER to do anything at home ever again
@@vanillya-v7n it really depends on the state of your hair before you start. Mine was already compromised and brittle , then the bleach made it completely break off

for the first video, i’ve actually used that bleach kit. always do a test strand. it worked for me, but WOULD NOT recommend if you plan to bleach that same hair (non virgin hair) again. hypocritical, but- ALWAYS get your hair bleached at the salon.
i love brad sm, i watch him everyday and he’s the last person i watch before i go to sleep. but if your reading this brad what are the best non damaging shampoos and hair dyes?
A cheap non damaging shampoo is any baby shampoo! Kinda weird I know but it's so gentle, I have a sensitive scalp and it's definitely less irritating, plus it doesn't wash out my hair dye as quickly. For non damaging hair dyes, semi permanent is the way too go. A lot of them are conditioning so are actually good for your hair!
I’m growing out my natural hair and these help me when I start thinking maybe I’ll bleach to get it out of my system and just hang in there. I can use temporary dyes and tricks ones it grows out enough to make it appear I either have the color it’s dyed or my natural when it grows out enough. Especially since summer I cannot STAND my hair down. I’ll need to do this binge watch again in fall
I’ve ruined my hair so many times by trying to bleach it myself at home 💀 These videos remind me to stay away from bleach. I’m trying to go a year without bleaching my hair 🙌🏼😭 My hair’s gotten so long & healthy again ❤️

I went to go get highlights recently, all virgin dark and curlish hair. The stylist put the bleach for 20 min and my hair fried off! Thankfully it’s just part of the highlights but it turned gummy and tangled like the girl in the first video. I cried 🥲 you truly never know how hair will react to bleach

Brad's horror at the hair clumps is highly amusing to me as a sufferer of chronic telogen effluvium. I lose that much with every shower. Its been almost 5 years now of the extreme shedding.
Poor Brad, he’s so stressed watching these videos. It only shows how much he cares. I adore this guy
hec, I am not a hair stylist and it stressed me out. lol
I wish I knew how people with such long, beautiful hair can rip brushes through it like they're trying to get it to tell them government secrets, but no matter how gentle I am with my hair it refuses to grow past my chest.
Genetics
@@personmcdudeguy They said their hair stops at their chest though, not their chin. Lots of people's hair won't grow past their chest.

Yeah I was shocked at the beginning when she brushed her hair like that! And then she did it again after the bleach and I was 💀
@@meganh1603 the moment I think all of us definitely screamed was after the bleach
are you maybe anemic?
Its normal to loose hair everyday. Everybody has that.
The way that first girl was brushing her hair-!! As a curly girl with hair that will snap in half if I so much as LOOK at a non-satin pillowcase, I literally cringed as she was going at her hair with that brush like that. XD
i stopped breathing when she brushed her bleached hair LIKE THIS
GURL ALMOST MADE ME GO TO A HOSPITAL, NO SHIT THAT IT'S GONNA FALL OUT
I literally just wanna be friends with Brad.
Very very true
I don't even know where to buy 30%. I live in Germany and all I could find is 9%. 😕
@@AlexandraVioletta 9% is equal to 30 volume. As in many things, the metric used in the U.S. is different than the European one.
holy shite if I were to brush my thin and fine ass hair as aggressively as the first girl I'd have 2 hairs left on my head lmao. Brad's reaction perfectly mirrored my own lol
The weaponized incompetence of the boyfriend (?) with the last girl was actually ridiculous though. Like... it cannot just be me getting pissed off at him intentionally fucking things up RIGHT after she tells him exactly how to do it.
I agree, but also, why would she ever allow him to do that… I wouldn’t even think about letting a boyfriend cut my hair.
I agree
It's definitely not just you girl. He's such a tool 🔧
She’s from a popular family TH-cam music group and all of their fans are p sure he’s abusive, it was weird seeing him in this
My bf is the same he acts like he listens but really he is not listening and does the opposite
The way that first girl just ripped that brush through her hair like that...esp after bleaching!! Wtf! I felt her hairs pain 😭

And as soon as she started brushing it after bleaching, my heart started racing, I audibly gasped, and I had to put my hands over my face and pause this video to make this comment 😂
you have to hand it to the first girl: she's not easily stressed out lol. i stress out losing 5 strands of hair in the shower 🤣
i mean she had a baby at 13 she's pretty used to stress
Girl, I lose 20 times the amount she does every time I do my hair, and I still look like I have a bush in there.

I cannot express enough how much I look forward to a new bleach fail video from Brad 💛
LOL. Loving Brads reaction to how the first girl just rips her brush through her hair. 'the horror' hehehe

As someone who’s hair is FINAAALLY grown out and back to full health after an awful bleach disaster; I’m watching these feeling my silky soft hair and reminding myself NEVER to do anything at home ever again
What did u do for it to go wrong I'm scared cuz I'm bleaching mine 😭😭
@@vanillya-v7n it really depends on the state of your hair before you start. Mine was already compromised and brittle , then the bleach made it completely break off
I payed 500€ at the salon and 2 years later my hair is still recovering and my curls are now slowly coming back. I wish there was a law for suing hairdressers
@@nissaini2104 im so sorry I recently got a balayage for the same price and she thank god did an awesome job and now I’m just going to the salon to tone it every month and prolly going lighter. I always recommend to look at their work first and the reviews. I went to a hairsalon specialized for coloring hair
@@vanillya-v7n how did it turn out?
Watching the 1st one brush her hair made my skin crawl and hurt my soul. 😂 OUCH CHIHUAHA!

for the first video, i’ve actually used that bleach kit. always do a test strand. it worked for me, but WOULD NOT recommend if you plan to bleach that same hair (non virgin hair) again. hypocritical, but- ALWAYS get your hair bleached at the salon.

I literally have watched this episode so may times and I LAUGH so hard every time I see Brad's reaction to her brushing her hair.. I can't lol 😂😂
i love brad sm, i watch him everyday and he’s the last person i watch before i go to sleep. but if your reading this brad what are the best non damaging shampoos and hair dyes?
Oneka Products are all natural and worth a try!!!! Also Shea Moisture is my bae
He already says that in a bunch of his videos. 🙄
I will watch Brad for an Eternity of him only saying, “Wait, what?” When things go very bad and turn out amazing 🤩
Watching her comb her hairs makes we want to call ‘hair protective services’

Never before has a bleach fail reaction video give me so much emotional damage. Thank you Brad, I loved it!
This whole video is just Brad yelling, panicking, crying, and having a heart attack- 😂
Hey Brad your such an inspiration to us smaller TH-camrs.. I love your content so much.. Stay fabulous xx
The second girl was so funny and I love the lavender turnout. It looks so good on her. Glad she didn’t lose all of her hair in the process. 😬
Brad, absolutely LOVE this outfit. Also bless you, you 90s baby 🤧🤍 1:33
I’ve ruined my hair so many times by trying to bleach it myself at home 💀 These videos remind me to stay away from bleach. I’m trying to go a year without bleaching my hair 🙌🏼😭 My hair’s gotten so long & healthy again ❤️

Brad, love the sweater 😍
I went to go get highlights recently, all virgin dark and curlish hair. The stylist put the bleach for 20 min and my hair fried off! Thankfully it’s just part of the highlights but it turned gummy and tangled like the girl in the first video. I cried 🥲 you truly never know how hair will react to bleach
Ok so the fails are great entertainment but, I’m really just living for Brad’s outfits, that sweater, that necklace, only Brad can make a sweater like that look sooooo good! 😍😍😍
