You should have watched Young Einstein. 1988 Australian comedy film written, produced, directed by and starring Yahoo Serious so you could have an actual Aussie film. I believe the one you three were talking about with the spider was "Charlotte's Web".
I appreciate content creators supporting one another and collaborating together (especially when it's two channels that I'm already a fan of). It really brings home a sense of community. Good on you for promoting that.
Christmas? Christmas means dinner, dinner means death! Death means carnage; Christmas means carnage! That might be the most "metal" line ever and it's in a "kids" movie.
I sang that song 'If I Had Words' to my cat Bill, who'd been with me for half my life, on the night that he died. So yeah, this movie always makes me a little emotional...
“BA-RAM-EWE! BA-RAM-EWE! TO YOUR BREED, YOUR FLEECE, YOUR CLAN BE TRUE! SHEEP BE TRUE! BA-RAM-EWE!” This has lived in my head rent free for decades, 💖💖
I'm an old man and I've seen a lot of movies. This, among all of them, is the best I've seen. It goes so far beyond the stunning visuals and the emotional tugs. The GIANT theme of not being constrained to a pre-defined role in life and the central idea that kind is better than cruel are much grander than you'd expect from a talking animal movie. I've been waiting for the reactors to get around to it and I couldn't be happier that it was you and Cinebinge, Mary.
My brother worked at a movie theater when this movie came out. People would stay until the end of the credits to find out where it was filmed, well before it was normal to stay until the end of the credits. My brother would go into the theater and it would be still half full and he would say, "New South Wales, Australia" and everyone would leave, their questions answered.
And Gosalyn from Darkwing Duck and Oblina from Aah! Real Monsters. Also, she is from Utah, which is where I'm from. Sadly, she passed from cancer a few years ago. She was only in her 50s. 😢
This is seriously one of my favorite movies! It hits even harder when you’ve already seen it. I’m a 50 year old man and this movie makes me cry at least five times!

_"That’ll do Pig. That’ll do."_ Honestly it’s amazing y that you’re finally redoing a reaction to this film and co-collaborating with CineBinges. This film still holds a special place in my heart as not only did it came in 1995 but I just love that it’s a balance of Practical and CG effects on bringing Babe, Ferdinand, the sheepdogs and sheep to life. Not to mention James Cromwell who played Arthur Hoggett made him into a vegan afterwards and last year he got a chance to interact with a piglet aptly named Babe that was soon sent to an animal sanctuary. Also the voice of Babe is Christine Cavanaugh who was best known as the voice of Dexter in _Dexter’s Laboratory_ and Chuckie Finster in _Rugrats_
He was vegetarian already, this film made him go vegan. But he isn't an animal rights activist at all, he's with PETA (which is as far away from helping animals as one can ever get).
The man who made this movie happen was on a flight from Australia to Europe and was switching through different radio channels and happened upon a reading of this book by a woman who reads books for the BBC. This movie was so popular when it came out and felt like an instant classic that would stand the test of time. However after it's sequeal came out, it kind of got forgotten. I don't recall any of nieces or nephews watching it, and they were introduce to all the other greats of the 90s and 80s. I certainly haven't heard anybody reference it in a lonnnnggg time. About 25 years ago I visited Robertson in the Southern Highlands, New South Wales, where "Babe" was filmed. The farmer who owns the land kept the set of Hoggett's House and the stables. He was nice enough to take me down there and showed me around. I don't know what happened to it, but back then it truly was a magical place.
I loved this reaction. Mary and Simone are ahhing and oooing at the barn yard animals. George is looking and sounding like Homer Simpson in front of a box of donuts. Lol😂
This was the first movie I saw James Cromwell in. So everything I've ever seen him in since, even to this day, my first thought is always, "Oh hey, it's Farmer Hoggett."
Simone has watched a movie with Cassy from Popcorn. Mary has watched a movie with Ashleigh from Ashleigh Burton. So all my favorite reactors are now connected!
Working sheepdogs learn a dozen or so commands. "Come by" means to circle the sheep clockwise, "Away" means to do it anti-clockwise for example. When they are done working the command is "That'll do", so "That'll do Pig" is actually him giving the pig the command to stop working for the day.
As an American, one of my favorite Aussie films is called “The Dish” starring Sam Neill and Patrick Warburton. It’s dryly hilarious, totally Aussie, and a personal favorite. A true hidden gem that people don’t know much about. If you watched it, I’m confident you’d love it as much as I do!
If you like The Dish, I highly recommend The Castle if you haven't seen it. Same team that did The Dish, but their first movie. Even has a small supporting role by Eric Bana.
I love that film! Since finding out he's Kronk in Emperors New Clothes I just want Mitch to say "Pull the lever Kronk!" Computer shuts off..... "WRONG LEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" 🤣🤣
For the many roles she portrayed in children's animation as Dexter (Dexter's Lab) and Chuckie (Rugrats), her legacy in this film is a reminder how truly special she was as many as those in the voice acting industry. Literally I’ve watched this only a few times over the many years but the scene with the farmer and the pig inside when he’s trying to cheer it up is possibly the most heartwarming scene in movies
I'm now 40 and saw this as an Aussie kid when 11 and it really demonstrates how your perspective in life changes. The 11 year old me wouldn't have tears in my eyes as the 40 year old father me did, when the crowd erupts as the pen gate closed, because you understand a unique proudness.
I love how the animals are voiced in this movie. And the soundtrack is beautiful. One of my absolute favorite films, and I'm happy to see you three watch it together.
One of my favorite soundtracks, too! I was furious when I bought it in 1995 and it had dialogue from the movie all over it. Finally, after twenty-something years, they released a proper album with just the music!
Okay, this teamup works really well and it was very, very enjoyable. Best collaboration I've seen of any TH-cam teamups. All three should consider doing this on a regular basis.

There is a sequel, Babe: Pig In The City which I highly recommend along with Charlotte’s Web (original and remake), Balto, Baby’s Day Out, The Amazing Panda Adventure, Alaska (1996), Monkey Trouble, and Born To Be Wild (1995). 🐖🐕🦺🐑🦆💖

I think what makes this such a touching story is that it has a few very powerful overarching themes. It's ultimately a movie about overcoming social expectation, challenging fate, and the virtue of non violence. The sheep dogs represent the status quo of solutions by force and threats and redeem themselves by contributing to another way despite their nature. The pig is confronted with the fate of his kin and the horror of their relationship to humans but still endeavours to bond with them. The ending is so cathartic because it is a culmination of these themes. The crowd are sceptical and mocking at first but celebrate the completion of the trial by non violence and the achievement of it that defies their prejudice. Farmer Hogget is vindicated in his belief of Babe, as is Babe in his trust of Hogget. Its really no surprise that James Cromwell would become an animal rights activist after his participation in a film that explores the seemingly unjust treatment of animals from their perspective. After all, what difference is there between a pig and a dog that allows one to be a companion and the other to be a commodity? Excellent film.
Such a tear jerker movie. Ever since I saw this movie I wouldn't eat pork for a few years. After a few years I'd start eating, bacon, pancetta, and charcuterie very occasionally. A similar movie "CHARLOTTE'S WEB" is another animal story that's a tear jerker. Ironically, pigs are vicious creatures and will even kill and eat a human if hungry enough. Speaking about "living your whole life to be food" reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode " TO SERVE MAN".
Love this collaboration. Such a great movie to watch. My nephew was about 3 years old when the movie came out and would cry and cry if we tried to turn this movie off. Thanks for bringing a smile to me face today. Babe Pig in the City is worth a watch as well.🐽🐷🐖
This was one of those movies that felt really personal like you were the only person that remembered it. The second one even more so, a lot of people don’t even know the second movie exists which is sad tbh cause imo it’s just as good as the first even not actually better. I hope you guys watch the second!
I confess that when I'm very high this has been my #1 go-to movie for years, something about it utterly immerses me in the best way possible and I'm laughing until I see stars, it never fails.
What!? What!? It's the collaboration I must have been secretly dreaming of without knowing about doing a movie reaction I typed in hopefully not knowing if anyone had done it yet! 🤩😍
OK this was delightful, I love reactor crossover events! Love to see it, love George and Simone, Cinebinge has great reactions and the best thumbnails in the business! We need to reassemble this crew for the Babe sequel.
another seriously under rated Australian film is Predestination (2014), it has a storyline i have never seen in another film or book, it is amazing! this movie (Babe) was adapted from a book called Sheep-Pig by Dick King Smith, i read it in the 80s when i was about 8 years old, the sheep walking 2 by 2 was done with string keeping them in line if i remember the making of correctly....

As a big fan of Cinebinge it's so fun seeing their fullscreen reactions :D
Love this collaboration. Such a great movie to watch. My nephew was about 3 years old when the movie came out and would cry and cry if we tried to turn this movie off. Thanks for bringing a smile to me face today. Babe Pig in the City is worth a watch as well.🐽🐷🐖
This was one of those movies that felt really personal like you were the only person that remembered it. The second one even more so, a lot of people don’t even know the second movie exists which is sad tbh cause imo it’s just as good as the first even not actually better. I hope you guys watch the second!
Great collab, great reaction and a wonderful trip down memory lane! Thanks for sharing.
Film did such a great job of adapting a storybook about following your heart and not being confined to "expected" roles
There was a movie called Gordy that came out around the same time, and that movie did have humans understand the pig.
James Cromwell really doesn't do much - 31:00 Oh fuck I'm not going to stop crying for the rest of the movie
I confess that when I'm very high this has been my #1 go-to movie for years, something about it utterly immerses me in the best way possible and I'm laughing until I see stars, it never fails.
BABE is AUSTRALIAN?! I had no idea, but I wore out the VHS copy I had when I was a kid. BAA RAM EWE!
What!? What!? It's the collaboration I must have been secretly dreaming of without knowing about doing a movie reaction I typed in hopefully not knowing if anyone had done it yet! 🤩😍
Great reaction guys. Some of my favorite you tubers. Yeah. 👏👏😊😊😊🥰 Babe. 😊😂😂
This is an unexpected collab😃
🐖🐖🐖
James Cromwell got a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for this.
The sheep password: "God damn you! God damn you!" 😂
This film is my father's favorite film to watch w/ his grandkids.
OK this was delightful, I love reactor crossover events! Love to see it, love George and Simone, Cinebinge has great reactions and the best thumbnails in the business!
We need to reassemble this crew for the Babe sequel.
I've been subscribed to both of y'all for a bit. Good to see the collab. Cheers from Bristol VA, US.
Good choice Mary, when people think of Australian movies, usually Crocodile Dundee is the first one that comes to mind.
Then follow by Yahoo
The Castle
Red Dog
The Dish
And many more aussie classics...
Long time Cinebinge fan and now a fan of yours too. Do more crossover content, I loved it.
another seriously under rated Australian film is Predestination (2014), it has a storyline i have never seen in another film or book, it is amazing!
this movie (Babe) was adapted from a book called Sheep-Pig by Dick King Smith, i read it in the 80s when i was about 8 years old, the sheep walking 2 by 2 was done with string keeping them in line if i remember the making of correctly....
