      I think this was the same series where Kenny called someone down with J high in the H.O.R.S.E. tournament. Jack high is my sickest call as well, and I have lost money chasing reads attempting to beat that call with 10 high. That was awhile ago... Going with your gut factors in a lot less in poker when everyone just factors ranges/plays as a solver.

      Great call. When you think about it his range is super polarized on the river as I don't think an amateur like that is competent enough to be bet/folding on the river with a Q high or K high flush (the big sizing is telling too and they're deep in the main event so the stakes are high) and he's never betting a set (that turned into a boat on the river) on that turn. So it's either an A high flush or air almost always.

      @brianelizardo6375 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It’s funny. Cause I agree and disagree with you.
      I knew someone would call yang a donk because that was my initial reaction to him.
      Let’s get one think out of the way right off the bat. Hilm got way to aggressive against the person at the table with the least experience.
      But remember yang wasn’t claiming to be a Pro.
      Which makes what I’m about to say make sense.
      There’s two rules in poker. Don’t go on Tilt and When the time comes make your opponent make a decision for all of their stack.
      Both took place in this hand.
      I’m from the “Atc” club. But now that I’m more seasoned. My game has evolved. So I love me some suited connectors. Always have. But this was the not the time to play em. (Yang isn’t a stupid man, he knows dude on tilt) easy decision.
      His bet sizing is perfect.
      1 million pre flop (Hilm is on tilt, “Beautiful Bet”) he knows he’s calling with almost anything. So when putting him on a range. You don’t really have to give him much credit. Flop bet “2 million” once again he over bets the pot. Here’s where Yang makes the play that wins him the tournament pretty much. He Bets 4 million.
      So why is this perfect. Cause to the average player “Hilm” donks off his chips “maybe”. Ever read Super System lol?
      Pretty much every street Yang forces Hilm to make that decision to whether or not play for his enitire stack. If Hilm wasn’t on tilt. He’s playing 2.5 max on the flop.
      The hands over and Hilm probably has a good chance of rebounding.
      But poker a game of variance and variables. So we know what happens next. Yang over bets the turn, Hilm shoves and Yang fades the dreaded River.
      4 million was brilliant. He knew Hilm was gonna shove, and knew exactly what he had to fade.
      Like my man Mike McDermot said “It wasn’t luck, I got outplayed in that hand against KGB” Hilm definitely did.
      That one hand gave Yang such a huge chip lead. Nobody else stood a chance.
      No donks here man. Just a classic Pro vs. Very Skilled Amateur. Both can play Yang just emptied the clip and said “you want your flush I’m gonna make you chase a bad situation to hit it.
      Btw “Great fkn call Kenny” he knew he was good and played him like fiddle.

    Hand 4: the mistake Winston makes is being too aggressive and yet too passive at the same time. The immediate bets, along with the increased sizing screams bluff, not made hand. I would honestly pay money to know exactly what went through Trans head throughout that entire hand and how he made that call. I mean I understand he had Top-Top so it's not like he had air, but you got basically an amateur betting hard on every street with 4 hearts on the board. I mean at the very least that's gotta be hard to not at the very least put him on an over pair. Crazy call. Also on a side note, sick call by Rahme as well haha.

    • @cocourth5611
      @cocourth5611 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Scotty Nguyen, he blew it at the end. He stacked off with top pair against Hilm's set. Had he not make that mistake, he would've had the best chance of winning the main event. Scotty let Hilm get to Scotty's head. Hilm on the other hand, after knocking Nguyen out, Hilm thought he was unbeatable that despite coming into the final table with humongous chip lead, he got knocked out 9th place. LOL

    wau what a call with the 88, it's actually decent call...PFR usually over cbets Ax, and doesn't go for 2 street value with Qx, so he is saying he has a 7x, and 88 with the suits the guy has blocks all 87s, A7s is blocked by the board, same with 97s, which leaves reasonable open range with 76s...
