- We had no idea how wonderful Naivasha truly was until we went on a safari with Chui Lodge. From the lake to the mountains and the overall lushness, the Naivasha area of Kenya honestly deserves it's name on the best safari areas of Africa.

Welcome to Chui Lodge, a beautiful safari camp only two and a half hours from Nairobi. This lodge has 8 luxury cottages, a nice restaurant and a fantastic heated pool. They offer game drives, night game drives, horseback riding, boat safari on Lake Naivasha, hiking bush breakfasts and so much more. Of course, we did it ALL!

Chui Lodge a Good place to be, by the way most of the furnitures here were made by My brother In-law, especially the African one I can see the wooden bowls and lampshade/Stand I recall seeing him working on them, the chairs and bed. Welcome to Africa. 😊

Nice outing! Naivasha is a hidden gem....diverse attractions and very conveniently reachable.
You must visit the world's best rose flower farms in the locality next time you visit. I understand over 1million stems are exported daily worldwide 👌

There is lodges at all kinds of prices. That being said this one is a bit more expensive. Probably around $500usd per night if not a bit more. But don`t quote me on that. Check with them or use Ongeri Epxedition if you'd like a good tour agent.

Next time try ruma national park..it's in homabay county...if you go during rainy season you will need a 4wheel drive or a awd, it's not like other parks though, best hotel could be 100 miles away in kisii or kisumu town, you could try homabay town...but kisii has best hotels like carmel park, ufanisi or maya resort
There are pretty hotels in Homabay county if you checked out. Some only rival what you find on the coast.

Soooo this is the thing that freaks me out about safari’s. I asked a friend of yours about going near lions and leopards (and you are in an open truck) what stops a hungry lion from just jumping in the vehicle and making you their meal? She didn’t have a good enough answer to suit me. Plus they would smell the fear on me and know prey is nearby. I don’t even want to watch the Idris Elba movie about the lion. It would be like going swimming after watching Jaws.
Well first, lions are not very interested in eating humans. And even tho nothing is 100% safe, I would argue that you have more chance getting into a serious accident on your way to the safari camp than getting attacked by a big cat during a game drive.
In the African wild, the predators should be the least of your concern. Elephants, Buffalos and Hippos pose a huge threat to you than Lions, leopards or Hyenas would.

In all the safari camps you have gone to,what do the do to prevent lets say snakes from entering your ro om or camp,thats my biggest fear finding a black mamba on the bed
I don't think that there is a 100% solution sadly haha. But the tents are technically sealed so they can come in unless you leave it unzipped.
How much has it costed you for these days including everything?
I know it might bot look like it but this is work for us. It takes over 20 hours to make a video like this so its an exchange of service for us. We don't pay for most if our stays.
We always include the price in the video WHEN we know it. Otherwise there is always the contacts of the place in the description.
I wasnt crazy about this particular tour. I was there last year. I think Ol Peejeta is way better
Fair enough... I personally hate Ol Pejeta. So commercial and terribly managed. Lets face it the Mara and Laikipia are king haha.
