- MIND-BLOWING is probably the first word that came to our mind when we arrived at Governors' Mugie House.
Let's Discover Travel and Governor's Camp Collection invited us to visit their newest property in Mugie Conservancy, Kenya. For a full weekend, we had the chance to fully experience Mugie House and what this beautiful conservancy has to offer.
I'm not going to lie, Mugie Conservancy is beautiful but is not as "wildlife rich" as the Maasai Mara or Amboseli for example. On the plus side, if you are looking for peace and tranquility, if you want to be alone with the lions and elephants, this is the place for you.
Governors' Mugie House is the most luxurious safari camp we have ever stayed at to this day. Beautiful and spacious rooms, cozy main lodge with an amazing view, a water hole that elephants like to visit and a refreshing infinity pool overlooking into the wild.
On top of the safaris, you can visit the Mugie Conservancy K9 unit and train with them, go canoeing on Mugie Dam, bird watching, visit the community farmers and their cows and of course, our personal favourite, meeting Tala the giraffe for breakfast.

When you guys go to these places do you tip the Safari driver, the breakfast chefs that did the grilling outside? Do you tip each time or at the end of trip?

How many hours from Nairobi is this place? Did fly here on that Canadian plane?
A lot of properties don't advertise there price as they want potential clients to contact them directly. Rate varies a lot. When we work with properties we have to respect that. Feel free to send an email to Let's Discover Travel (info in the description) and they will give you the rate in no time.
For the tips, we do give money to our driver and also the staff. Everything is done at the end prior to leaving.

Why aren’t you giving the cost of accommodation? Even if the resort is paying your accommodation please don’t stop telling us the cost and type of room you had. This is what I have liked about your videos. If I’m wrong please explain.
This is a good point. We always try to do so but sometimes properties want people to contact they to get quotes as prices varies depending on the season, resident statues, package and number of people. But everytime I can give a ballpark I do. :)
Learning kiswahili is going to be very challenging 😂😂😂coz everyone in Kenya knows English even the Maasais😂😂😂😂and remote areas
