The first of the two caves you can access in the Perplexing Pool after getting blue pikmin. This cave can be pretty dangerous - tread lightly in each sublevel.
I remember having a hell of a hard time with the boss playing this years ago. Its attack range is very big, but consntantly switching captains does the trick to immobilize it.

Hawelo92 the greater jellyfloats can also suck up captains. If both are sucked up the jelly is weighed down and collapses, dealing damage to both captains

The jellyfloats can actually kill pikmin, it just takes a very long time and they only consume one at a time so you shouldn’t worry about losing any to them.

I can vouch for this. I tested it out of curiosity years back to see if they truly could and it turns out they can. But as you said it takes a while so the threat level is pretty low.
