  • Dr. Goldner gets right to the point with great information how what to start eating to get healthier and more fit, rather than just focusing on what you shouldn't eat!

    I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, and I have found it so hard to find good resources on implementing a vegan diet with Hashi's. I know in my heart that a vegan diet is the ideal way of eating/living, but I'm not getting optimal results. I'm definitely struggling and feeling very frustrated because of it. I would be forever grateful if you could make a video about how to successfully eat a vegan diet when you have Hashi's (or autoimmune disease in general). I really hope you make more vids in the future! :-)

      Sarah MYR She doesn’t seem to have many Hashimoto’s success stories. I think there is one example in her new book.

      @@rfk310162 my thyroid issues are due to adrenal insufficiency.....I'm on plant based diet 99% but I added ghee into my diet a month ago after being on this diet for 2-3 months as i'm emancipated with green smoothies ....but I have to say they reduced some inflammation in my body and I came down from 75 MCG to 50 MCG thyroxine.....but a bad effect on Adrenal health and my menstruation!!!

      When you heal your body you not only heal one part your overall body will heal. I also have Hashimoto's and following her protocol, I know whole foods will not harm me like medications. Good luck

    Any idea why I get hot flashes from flax seeds? Can't eat it bcs the hot flashes gets debilitating! (Also get it from soy.) I eat salmon and mackerel for omega 3 instead. Seem to work better for me!

      Have you tried chia? Dont kill the fish until you’ve given that a try. What health issue are you struggling with?

      It’s probably the excess fiber?

    • @cammieklund
      @cammieklund 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@melo39987 No, it's probably bcs flax is high in phytoestrogens. There's omegas in other plantbased foods though. I don't eat fish anymore.

    My understanding is that some foods like cruciferous, night shades, lectins ect cause inflammation. I’m all over the place need help with my diet now that I have no thyroid. No doctors seems to tell me or help me on how to eat what to eat after having no thyroid and I still have hoshimotos. So confused.

      I think she's changed her stance on walnuts since this video and doesn't include them in the rapid recovery. Flaxseeds and chia seeds are what's recommended.
