Boy these cook ups are sure bringing back good memories for me Buck! Dads favourite pudding was Bread and Butter Pudding almost exactly like you've cooked here. After cooking Dad would drizzle Golden Suryp or sprinkle Brown Sugar over the top then Grill it until it had a nice dark caramel top on it. Never had that before . Mum would do a real nice plum pudding and pavlovas and other things . If a salt shaker cloggs with humidity Ive put rice in it ,it works . Maybe will with nutmeg , rice soaks up moisture
I wish I had gotten my grandmother to write down her recipes. She made a brilliant bread and butter pudding but she used currants between the layers of bread and the mixture covered the bread. When done, we got home made custard on top. couldn't afford icecream, that was for posh people haha

I had a thought watching this video, imagine one of bucks nieghbours not knowing he dose youtube, and just coming out side to see buck mixing food in a bowl with a ryobi drill with half the kitchen there talking to a camera 😂😂.

Buck try this , simple , quick and easy . Kabana sausage rolls Get a stick of kabana and roll it up in puff pastry , place then in the camp oven and cook til pastry is cooked……….thats it mate , taste sensational.

Good cheap way to feed the family mate. You don't need to use the Brioche bread.
