You want to use the modified version of stock os, Stock OS Mod 4. Also YMMV with Balena Etcher, Rufus is generally more widely recommended for installing OS onto the SD card. Modified stock OS allows you to run ssh script in the RA folder in SD card 1 to do things like install custom themes.
Any way to use a 128GB SD card without needing a secondary SD card? When I flash the image with Rufus, It shrinks the entire disk to like 3GB (2.15 for the OS).

I did add my roms and bios to my 2nd SD card yes not sure if it included the bios in the first sd card will have to check, yes should be OK with fusion on the games but I personally have not tested that

There are a few ways but keep the original SD card as if you mess it up or something gose wrong you still have it to use...I would copy the bios and games of the oG sd card and then have 2 new SD cards one 32gb for the firmware and 128gb or higher for games..download the firmware but the 16gb downloaded firmware on the 32fb card and then copy the bios and games to the 2nd new SD card and then you will be food to go man

There is 2 files, 16gb folder and 64gb folder if you want to use the 128gb SD card you will have to use 64gb folder as it locks the SD card after you flash it, that's both 16gb folder on a 128gb card you will have the firmware but you will not be able to use the space on the 128gb card, likewise with the 64gb folder you will only have the 64gb firmware and roms but the rest will be locked
@@Jiyuu69 for the firmware I would get a 32gb card and fir the game and bios 128gb or 256gb and if you can keep the OG sd card so you can at least still play it while you sort the new firmware and get it sorted

Well I believe theres no official version of Batocera for this device as yet, so any that you see is obviously modded to run on it. Not that theres anything wrong with that, just saying if you end up having issues you wont get support from Batocera for it, you would have to go to the creator of the modded Batocera firmware.

If you go in to the folders there should be roms and then a folder structure and then just cope that and then put it on to the 2nd sd card and then add games and roms
It is actually split in to 2 folders one with games 64gb folder and then a 16bg folder for the OS. So if you don't have your own roms or bios then you will need to extract the games folder also.
Do I need to update the previous firmware version before proceeding to update the v1.1 or this is not necessary? And omg its 59GB which I assume one folder is the Stock OS and the other are the ROMs as you mentioned there will be 2 folders after extraction. If only someone is able to just upload the Stock OS folder in either one drive, google drive and provide a link download on this. This would be very helpful to others.

Best thing to do is with the original SD card copy the games and bios to your pc or laptop, then get 2 new SD card 1 32gb for the firmware and the 2 SD card for the games and bios
Mine has been stuck on installing screen for quite a while now. I did a modded original OS install and followed the directions and it said flash successful and then rebooted but still stuck on installing screen. Any ideas here?
So this all happened because I am using a 2 Micro SD Card solution. I have a ton of roms on a larger card which I want to play but the 64GB card is just not big enough. Upon adding all the other roms in the respective folders seems like the console is not showing those Retroarch emulators with respective games like on the 64GB one. There is like 5 pages of emulators whereas on my 256GB card theres only 2 and i KNOW there are more consoles I have in the roms folder.
You will only have 16gb to use and it will lock the rest of the card so you can't use the rest of the gb like wise if you flash the 64bg with included game rom pack you will then lock the rest of the gb. Best flashing the os to 32bg card and then use the 128bg card for games in the 2nd SD card slot

You should just be able to re-fkash it, check there sd card right click and go to properties and if it's not used any gb try re-flashing it. If it has used the space, you will have to use disk Genius to delete the partition and make it fat32 again. Are you using a 16bg card for the firmware? If yes you need to use 32gb card. Not enough space on a 16gb card.

And did you extract the firmware, and then have 2 folders one 64gb and one 16gb? And if you flash the firmware to a SD card you will not be able to add games to it as it's blocked all other partitions, you have to use a 2nd SD card for the games.
Depending on what you have downloaded and extracted, you can use the 64gb folder and extract it and use that on the 64gb card but you will need to format the original SD card. But it's always better to use a decent new SD card

Hey i wanted to inform everyone the if you have a 64 gb card you can download the 64 gb file and it comes with the games AND the os. Im now going to clean the no brand card and download all the extra games i want on it and ill replace it when it fails
Snes, used to screen skip and now it's smooth...it was why I preferred to play 8 bit and 16bit games on koriki build but now with the update it runs Mario and donky Kong games very smooth, Amiga and atari st cores have been added, and psp has been optimized but not by much

Fat 32 is fine, the only difference with exfat is you can upload lager roms to it like ps2, wii, game things like that

No, I tried to do that with a 128gb card but even with disk Genius I was unable to resize the partition

The only difference I noticed with OS 1.1.0 is the new icon for the game . I didn’t notice nothing new.
Snes, used to screen skip and now it's smooth...it was why I preferred to play 8 bit and 16bit games on koriki build but now with the update it runs Mario and donky Kong games very smooth, Amiga and atari st cores have been added, and psp has been optimized but not by much
Never heard of the cube, the DS clone seems only useful to nintendo ds fans.
I have the rgb30 with the same screen and it's amazing for all systems to be honest with you
