They are indeed (not a genuine evo sport though) you know your BMW's! I've done videos on both 😁 Here is the video on the M3: th-cam.com/video/uvGGKI0V8ac/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rBNQOVpP3QUmbEWP Heres the video on the 320is: 😁 th-cam.com/video/DahMZXGwiLI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O0Wggk1ho1nfK7HD
@@SuperRon Too bad I am located in Montreal,Canada...Too far to bring you my 1985 M635CSi !!! You have a great channel and good videos ! I am subscribing ! Happy New Year !
Nice job. l have the same project in front of me......as soon as we get the new FI wiring harness fabricated. The head should be okay, but the piston rings and valve guides are worn, so might we might as well do a complete rebuild. Ugh.
WOW what a great job. I also thought that head could not be saved and would end up being converted in to beer cans or something else. Lucky the car had the right owner to pay for its fix. Great work as always Ron.
Wonderful video. My OCD would like the inside of those waterways rounded out where they added the weld. Amazing work, and everything looks so easy in TH-cam world. And 516nm for the crank pulley!!! And I thought 190nm was excessive for my Yamaha rear wheel nut! :)
I had doubts the block could be saved. But that shop did an amazing job - that's an insane amount of work to clean it all up. Good work Ron, this was a great video
Wow!! Are these a BMW 320is (The Italian M3 ) in the background...and an e30 M3 Sport Evo ll ???????

These soon escalate when you dig deep, good luck! Thanks for watching 😁
@@SuperRonThanks. We're gonna need it. Having rebuilt some of the old M30 engines, this will be exponentially more complicated.
What cleaner did you use in your ultrasonic machine?
I can't remember which one we actually have, but it's the proper detergent for a ultrasonic tank
@@SuperRon Thanks, Ron! Awesome videos!

With enough money anything can be saved! The owner loves it, he did 1000miles in the first week!
