Enjoyed your video again Ron. I always like to see you working on “special cars” like the RS5. I’ve the DRC on my one and keeping an eye on them. Had new DRC fluid put in this year and re pressurised, hopefully maintenance lengthens their life expectancy.
Awesome job once again. I am fighting with my A4 B6 1.8t engine put new pistons was easy with new rod bearings new headcylinder, but the arms of suspensions is a nightmare, even the brand Mertz doesnt even give the torque of their own kit 🤯
No way both them pinchbolts came out!😂 i snapped many on cars MUCH newer. Just a shame this beast is now laced with lovely new shiney bits yet the rest of it is pretty grotty and in need of some SR TLC.😢
Absolutely, if you watch my other videos in always rate DRC above any aftermarket items for comfort and perfornance, but in this instance where he's getting more race bias and exceeded the DRC capabilities, this is a upgrade. Thanks for watching 😁
These are not standard coilovers, R&T is the golden standard of a ride for trackable sports cars. It’s much lighter than stock and allows for wider range of adjustment vs the magnetic ride. Ppl usually put stiffer adjustable sway bars to make it flat in the corners which makes it close to DRC but without complex hydralics and obnoxiously expensive service. The only thing I have to add to the video is that Ohlins recommends servicing them every 30k km which includes changing the oil and refiling the nitrogen. Nevetheless, I admit DRC feels almost magical at first; not worth the expenses in the long run though.
Yes definitely more videos on the rs5
Thanks for watching 😁
Nice video and fun to see some more Audi performance content!
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching 😁

Yes we deal with Audi's daily and stipping the suspensions is never easy. Thanks for watching 😁

That's next on his list to get the bodywork done then possibly ceramic brakes 😍
Want them
To be honest Ron a change from DRC to standard coil overs is definitely not an upgrade, as I'm sure you well know its actually a down-grade.
