Zero Law It's been explained that Alan's power comes from the mystical force called "the Green" wich is responsable for the growth of plants and vegetables. It allows him to affect anything other than that.

Superboy Prime was one of my favorite characters ever. Him killing Green lanterns and ripping off a guys arm? How can you not love him?
He ripped off both arms lol. One arm in the initial fight. The second, when the guy came after him pissed about the first arm. Savagery.

aside from Volthoom, Larfleeze is the oldest lantern, predating the Green Lanterns by a huge amount. And the Anti-Monitor wasnt "blown into the after-life", Superboy-Prime threw him into space

Im just referring to when Rob said that the Orange Ring was a new development. Larfleeze was around during the time of the Manhunters, so he predates the Green Corps.
He didn't mean chronologically, but in writing. Its arguable that the Sapphires may have come first but...

No, this was the lead in. You see the end of this video as the Anti-Monitor's near dead body (hurled by Prime, which Rob didn't show) flies through space only to land on the far reach of the universe, where he's put inside the Black Lantern by Nekron, which was what Nekron used as the main power battery for Blackest Night.

What I never got was the Sodam Yat/Ion thing. Sodam Yat being the answer to "What if a Kryptonian was a Green Lantern" is good, but that should pale in comparison to the fact that he was ION ontop of it. Yet none of his powers were anywhere near what Kyle Rayner Ion displayed, which was almost cosmic cube level stuff.
After you had originally covered sinestro corp war I went and bought both sinestro corp war and blackest night graphic novels and read them both. You are right, they are both amazing. Superboy Prime is just a boss taking out everyone even the anti monitor.
Anyone who's read BLACKEST NIGHT knows that the next few Sundays are gonna be epic!!

Sodom yat and superboy prime fight is the shit I've been waiting for you to get this far for a long time and you kinda glazed over it didn't go in to to much detail like I expected you to do which was kind of a let down but it was still a good video! This entire run of is story is crazy so much happening and coming together to start blackest night which is also totally insanely amazing can't wait!!!

No... If anti-matter touches matter, they don't cancel each other out, they go kaboom. Like super kaboom. Like super super super Ker-death Kaboom. The power to create and control matter and anti-matter of any reasonable amount is potentially a universe killing power.

The one integral detail Rob forgot to include is the origin of the corrupted Scarred Guardian, or Scar, during the battle with the Anti-Monitor. I will not spoil the plot with specific details, but she is primarily responsible for undermining the Green Lantern Corps and cataloging the Book of the Black.

Rob you kinda made a mistake about Superboy-Prime. Kryptonite can't hurt him and a Red Sun doesn't depower him. I think you let that slip and forgot to change it lol

Red sun does depower him. infinite crisis proved this.
Actually Red sunlight CAN depower him, that was how he was defeated in Infinite Crisis as they ran him through Rao. He was less depowered than the other two Supermen but still lost a lot of powers, plus the power storage armor was destroyed in the process. Afterwards they noticably also kept him until the Sinestro Corps freed him with a Red Sun eater draining his powers, and 50 green lanterns reinforcing the shield. If the red sun didn't do much to him, he would have ripped through that cage as he ripped through a much more powerful wall in Infinite Crisis.
After Sinestro Corps War on the other hand he was empowered by the Guardian he killed, he absorbed a massive amount of power from him and at that point was basically immune to red sunlight as well until that power was expended fighting Monarch, sending him to the era of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the process, which I guess Rob will cover eventually.

I felt that despite his inexperience, Sodam Yat did in fact hold his own. It's only when he gets exposed to lead that he falls. Conversely, had Superboy Prime been exposed to his Earth's kryptonite, he'd have gone down like the winy little ***** he really is.

Love your comics explained videos. Minor correction on super boy prime. He has no weakness to kryptonite. Only kryptonite from the Earth Prime universe and he isn't affected by magic. He once went up against black Adam and won easily.

Sodam Yat doesn't do anything since Daxomites are weak to lead like Kryptonians are weak to kryptonite... Superboy-Prime stabbed him through with lead during his fight and his green lantern ring is the only thing keeping him alive. Prime is savage af! lol Sodam Yat gets one more story during Final Crisis but he's just a generic Superboy enemy now.
Don't worry, Sodam Yat shows up later when Prime takes on the Legion of Superheroes, and a thousands of years old Sodam Yat as the last member of the Green Lantern Corps containing ALL of their power joins in the fight. I'm pretty sure Rob will cover that before he covers Blackest Night as it happens chronologically before, Prime was part of BN as well and was the only character to ever break free of a Black Lantern ring (actually outright destroy it) out of everyone that wore one, which included Barry Allen, Superman, etc.

He's pretty much forgotten on the New 52 landscape and it's sad because he's a GL with Superman powers, so he's interesting and he also gave Arisia some development.

Say if the Anti monitor was suddenly warped into the marvel universe where does he stand. Is he weaker or stronger than galactus. Does he invoke the wrath of the one above all. Could he kill the living tribunal. Where would he sit in terms of power. That's the funny thing about D.C. their universe isn't that wildly complex in terms of universal power. But in my opinion they would rather have charactera somewhat grounded. Like some of their character's can do some wildly powerful things but we don't really ever see something clear cut above the other. Unless there are some comics I haven't read yet

i actually dont think it has to do whit power proportional to size but rather a combination of how much will you have , how strong your imagination is AND how aware you are of your surroundings ( as seen by the fact that Kyle Rayner could not make constructs whit out his sight) and considering MoGo is psychic and is aware of every thing that happens around him no matter how small or insignificant it is . he can instantly project constructs anywhere around him at a complete 360 degree field whit not blind spots .
ALSO it helps his ring and power battery are next to one another so he can cheat and infinite spam constructs while pressing the the mana potion hot key.

Sodam Yat' s concept was also created by Alan Moore and his Blackest Night prophecy, he was meant to be the strongest GL until his and the guardian's demise on the end of the prophecy, which was stopped.

Sadam Yat got kicked around by Prime because Prime impaled Sodam with lead in the battle. Lead is Krytonite to Daxamites
From the end of SCW to the start of Legion of 3 Worlds, you could easily edit out all of Prime's actions in Countdown; so that's what I like to do myself.
