What do you mean we brought all the supplies, weapons, and reinforced this bunker, just for them to give it up to the goblins because they can't read a map? Logi suffers
That would be very unfortunate. I put off redoing these tutorials for over a year because it is so complicated, I'm not sure if I'm ready to redo them again so soon. Fingers crossed they won't touch bunkers
You are very welcome. Just be aware that parts of the system will change with the new update that drops on november the 18th. I'll try to make an updated version when the new rules are crystallized out but that might take some time
Hhhm I never felt the flower was harder to connect than the donut, since both have 8 straight outside walls, but then again I do not dig bunker as a daily activity in Foxhole so I wouldn't really know. Yeah, I might've mentioned that they can be build by CV, but my aim was mostly to just run through the different ways of building and submitting. SO part 3 will include the submitting with the small rail carts for instacne
@@BalconysHD To be fair, part 1 doesn't explain the pallet of cmats either. I used the pallet to show a different method to easily submit concrete, in part 3 we'll use a small gauge railcart our of nowhere, I hope I remember to at least make a brief mention how/where to make em! So in short; good catch! Noted for next time
They are not really intuitive no. Mostly, I think, because normally on the ground a trench connector can not even reach half that distance (if not less)
Hhhm funny. If I would expect a design to be called bagel it would be the one I call the donut. Always great to see how things we think have a commonly accepted name might go by (completely) different names
It's kind of a catch 22. You want your defensive bunker design to see some action to see if you build well, but you don't want it blown up because that is days of work down the drain.
In general, please do not reserve bunkers unless you have someone there 100% of the time. Far too many times I've rolled up to defend concrete bunkers with artillery guns and the storage rooms were reserved. Watching them die with hundreds of shells just sitting there inaccessible is a tragedy.
That is true. Unfortuntaly the reverse of that is coming back to your bunker base and finding engine rooms installed everywhere and all shells removed. We're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't
"just like our sanity, bunker pieces will decay over time" - every builder in foxhole

Future engineer here, thank you !!!!
You are welcome!
And I'm sorry for possibly dragging you into the sanity crushing activity that is digging and maintaining bunkers
Freerk.... I have a bad feeling... that bunker bases are going to get a full rework next week. LOL. Great tutorial tho.
That would be very unfortunate.

@@SirNeil2579 Who knows?! The introduction of submarines came out of nowhere, and so did the acutal diggable trenches and fire.
@@FreerkHoltes either way I’m looking forward to the update and seeing what’s on the agenda.
Thank you so much for this detailed explanation. I csn only imagine how much time and effort you out into this

6:33 tech donut is better because you can build trench from it, but hard to do so with flower
13:06 you can use CV to build conc pieces

A lot of swearing as well :)
really appreciate the video! You explained everything in very great detail, until you pulled a pallette of cmats out of nowhere
i just realized this was part 2, never saw part 1 oops

Took me a long time to figure out for myself how to make undergound tunnels.

Don't forget to aim the rifle garrison spotlight.
I have personnel for that :D
Gave you done a video on borders and invasion mechanics yet? Might be worth doing one if not.
That is in the "definitely going to do something with that eventually list". Where the "eventually" is the most important part ;)

if it never gets to slow down their advance, it would have been placed better elsewhere.
I've put 2000hrs in this game and now I'm finding out you can press cntrl to see the outside
I'm 5000+ in and there's still things that on occasions make me go: wait... you can do that?!
Flower and donut? I've always known the flower as donut and the other as danish
I love how everybody has different names for them. And here I was, thinking everybody agreed on them
