With graphics cards being as big as they are today, now we just need motherboard manufacturers to swap the primary slot down to the bottom slot so you don't immediately give up all the other slots. That would be no worse latency wise than the ITX riser cable / card that so many cases use, and honestly if you're going to block all the slots anyway you wouldn't really lose anything by going with an ITX board.
I wasn’t too interested in the tower 200 because it looked like a stretched out tower 100. This on the other hand has a very unique design to it. I’m interested to see if it would even fit on my desk horizontally. It looks like something from Outer space And I’m all for it.
Yes yes yes. I love mATX, I think it's the perfect balance between size and function. Also it's not as expensive as ITX builds and often cheaper than ATX builds.
I like the look of this, especially fitting a 420mm rad in something this small. But, it means I'll have to do extra research about which graphics card I use in relation to the issue with reduced heat pipe effectiveness that can be seen in some models, when the IO is at the top.
Blocking off all the IO ports and them being INSIDE the case seems like one heck of a design flaw. And if you have a lot of USB devices/displays, then all those cables will start to mess with airflow around the top fan too....

I have the tower 200. These things come with tons of options to route your cables around the fans to the point where youd actually have to go out of your way to block off the fans. Also, with the way the case is orientated, blocking off the I/O ports make it look much cleaner on top, even though I wouldn't mind having all the cables flowing out from the top but I think this looks better for most people. Edit: just to clarify, I know there are differences between the tower 200 and 300, but I think the same logic applies.

I feel like they missed the mark so hard, leaving the opportunity to rotate the internal layout by 180 degrees. The vertical layout makes most gpu overheat because the heat pipes dont flow towards the gpu i/o. Its nice to have a horizontal optiom but its so big for "itx" and that vertical layout will handicap even the chunky cooler of a 4090. All my gpu temps went up from 12 to 20c in the tower200. That build lived for 2 hours before i swapped back into my o11 air mini.
There is no 5.25" Bay for my Optical drive. I REFUSE to build a PC that does not have an optical drive inside it Other than this this case looks sleek and stylish.
How were GPU temps? I heard this was an issue with some Tower 200 users due to the GPU being mounted vertically length-wise like that and it causing temperature spikes
I find that the M-atx is perfect for a home server when it comes to size, i know itx is smaller, but as i am using a raid card and a 10gbe ethernet card, i dont need anything larger
I have kept my eye on the Tower 100, and 200. But when choosing a case, it just never quite fit the bill. A bit too large for an ITX setup, and that was the only option for it. The fact that it expanded just a bit to allow mATX support (which was probably needed just to offer support to all 4 slot GPU's), it is now on my list of cases to buy and try. In the last 10 systems that I have built, 8 of them ar mATX, 1 ATX and one ITX. mATX I feel is often overlooked, and compromises need to be made in order to use in some enclosures. I think that we will see more cases for mATX simply due to the GPU sizes and want to support them. Many traditional layout ITX cases I expect to start expanding to mATX support (at least on paper). I feel that this case still has just a little too much unused space, but the airflow and radiator support I think can offset that just a bit. edit: looking at marketing material and static images, can fans/radiators be mounted on the GPU's side panel? If not, then I think this is a huge miss and write off on the case for anything but an aircooled GPU configuration. Sigh, I got my hopes up too early, which was the same way that I felt about Tower 200.
With graphics cards being as big as they are today, now we just need motherboard manufacturers to swap the primary slot down to the bottom slot so you don't immediately give up all the other slots. I don't usually like mATX cases but this one looks pretty slick!
There is no 5.25" Bay for my Optical drive.
I REFUSE to build a PC that does not have an optical drive inside it
Other than this this case looks sleek and stylish.
Micro ATX with a 420 AIO. Now we're talking
This is really good looking. I think i might grab this for when i make a "steam machine" whenever valve finally releases SteamOS officially
The price is $149 same price Lian Li 011 vision
horizontal casemod mounted on a wall and you have something really nice imo
1:51 well thats a great thing about matx over itx, ya can slot in a wifi card
How were GPU temps? I heard this was an issue with some Tower 200 users due to the GPU being mounted vertically length-wise like that and it causing temperature spikes
I find that the M-atx is perfect for a home server when it comes to size, i know itx is smaller, but as i am using a raid card and a 10gbe ethernet card, i dont need anything larger
I love what TT is doing, but they really should have done a retro beige or gray option imo.
